What can I say about Next Generation but this is one of the best learning centers I've ever been to for my child. They have a great program for my daughter who is in TK were they let me drop her off early so I can get to work they take her to school and pick her up as well. They're open late in case you end up running behind or you just need a little time before you get your child but the teachers are all very friendly the front desk as well I would highly suggest bringing your child here as I have had bad experiences in the past with other places like this this place gets a 10 star in my book. My child has been attending this center for over a year and we love it! She has learned so much! Previously to attending this daycare, she had a nanny. I am so glad we decided to send her to daycare instead because I can tell she has really thrived. She has learned many songs, words, manners, and to clean up her toys! The amount she has learned from being around other children is invaluable. She is only a young toddler, but when she gets home from school she excitedly tells me her friends names, or sometimes shows off art projects she made. It makes me feel good that I know she is somewhere that makes her happy and she is also learning. Not sure about the guy with the lead post below, and I honestly panicked a bit after seeing that. I did some research and looks like that was one faucet in the whole building, it has been placed out of order since finding that out, kids have a different water source now, and there is a new director since then. I have no concerns about my daughters safety while she is there. I fully trust the staff with my child's needs. I love this place!! My son went to Next Generation Educational Center for over 3 years (from march 2021 at 17 months to August 2024 at 4 years 10 months). Our experience has been amazing! The staff is so kind, warm, welcoming, and caring. The teachers are phenomenal! My son formed so many friendships over the years, and thanks to Next Gen he knows his ABC's, he can count to 50, he can write his name, and so much more! **UPDATE** Almost a year later and we are as in love with the teachers and Next Gen as ever. The teachers below (Yukari, Connie, and Cassia) are still with the school and my children love each of them when they get to see them. The new brightwheel app has been a great tool to keep up with the kids throughout the day. The new director Heidi is a wonderful addition and has made the program stronger. Her style and experience is something any school would want. Next Generation found a wonderful gem in her. Ms Mayra and Ms Vanessa in the toddler class have helped our little man grow so much. He loves going to school everyday and that's saying something when the 1 year old anxieties set in. Ms Jasmine teaches the three year olds and she's amazing. My daughter has learned so much during her time in that class. We engage everyday with her about what she did and she always surprises us with something. Days of the week, months in the year, somersaults, and more. Ms Jasmine has been pivotal in our daughter's learning and we couldn't be more grateful. Keep up the wonderful work Next Gen! read more

Next generation is a fabulous child care facility. I have two kids enrolled there. My youngest (3 years old) in the 3s class with Ms. Marquita (I think I spelled that wrong I'm sorry ) who is about as patient and understanding as they come. She goes out of her way to make sure the kids are well taken care of. and was instrumental in helping my daughter get acclimated to the program quickly. My oldest (7 years old) is actually enrolled in their summer camp program. This her second year and she loves it. She always talks about one of the instructors Ms. Cassia and how much she enjoys the curriculum, activities, field trips and fun. Ms. Cassia is kind and warm-hearted and goes out of her way to make sure you feel very comfortable leaving your children in her care. The Director is always there each morning to greet you with engaging conversation. My children both have dietary restrictions and she was a very understanding and considerate of this fact. The facility itself is very clean and well-maintained. They provide the children with an abundance of stimulating learning toys, activities, games, and outdoor play time. And of course snacks and meals are always health-conscious. Special thank you to miss Samantha as well. I especially appreciate the evening updates and daily reports she provides me. It gives me an overall sense of how the day was for my kids and what their temperament will be like moving into the evening. She communicates very well, acknowledging challenges but also providing solutions that effectively combat them. Nothing but positives and thumbs up for me. My son has been attending this daycare since mid-december 2018. I've been looking for a pre-school for my son and I enrolled him at the referral of 2 of my closest friends as both their boys attend Next Generation. They both recommended it because their kids seemed to adjust pretty well and their introductory rates were the best I found. At first, I honestly felt like it was a bit disorganized and there were some little frustrations early on. I didn't get proper information regarding door codes and it was at least 3 weeks before he had his own sign-in sheet or even a cubby with his name on it. In the grande scheme of things, I knew it wasn't that big of a deal so I chalked it up to them being a new facility as well as the end of the year when he first started. Fast forward to 2 months later and my husband and I are pretty satisfied with their services thus far. The kinks seem to have worked themselves out and our son seems to be happy when I pick him up at the end of the day. His teacher Miss Cassia seems very attentive and caring with him as well as with the other children from what I observe. She sends me pics of his activiy throughout the day (not every day but sporadically) and has been doing well with helping him potty train. Special shout out to Miss Julie, Miss Markeeta and Miss Jen.. they are also wonderful to work with and we are so very grateful for the time they spend with our kids that we unfortunately don't get due to being working parents. read more

We have both of our kids in this dayacre, one is almost 3 and the other is 8 mths. The environment is really nice and there is planty of space for the kids to play around. Thanks to Ms. Cassia, our daughter is doing really good with the potty training, basically she doesnt need to wear diaper anymore in the daytime. She also improved a lot with talking and interpersonal skills. She feels really happy to go to school everyday. My son is in the infant room, and the teachers are taking very good care of him. Special thanks to Ms. Connie, Veronica, Branda, Karina and Yukari, they like my son so much and always keep an eye on him and report to us if anything happened. My child doesn't attend here, hence why I didn't give one star, just to give them the benefit of the doubt. The teachers were nice when I went for my tour. But while I was there, I first arrived and was ignored for about a good 5-10 minutes while the owner was in her office taking on her phone and feeding a baby (not a huge deal but at least acknowledge me). Then I mentioned that I had an 8:30 appointment to tour and she had no idea what I was talking about, I guess the director had not mentioned it to her and was also not going to be there until later, even though we had an appointment we set up the day prior. Then as I toured the facility, I entered the infant room. First of all, I was not asked to wear the shoe covers, even though they were sitting right by the door. Big mistake for babies who are crawling. I wouldn't want my child touching the floor when someone's dirty shoes had been walking all over. Secondly, two babies were screaming their heads off when I walked in and the teachers were just ignoring them. One teacher was feeding another child, so that I understand. But the other was just walking around cleaning up. It was a good 5 minutes before the director FINALLY came in and picked up one of the babies and placed them in a bumbo seat. Why was no one helping the children??? Third, when the guide walked me to their podium to show me their work sheets, there was a child playing inside the podium going through their binders. The guide jumped when she saw him. So was no one watching this child?! Why wasn't anyone looking for him!? He had snot dripping out of his nose and no one cleaned him up. And then the worst part. That same child, when he finally did get up to walk around, WALKED RIGHT OUT OF THE CLASSROOM DOOR! And no one noticed until he was already in the hallway!!! There is no way in heck my child would be enrolled here. Not after what I witnessed. Sure, its cheap but that's exactly what you're paying for. read more

This center has changed my view of child care I love everything about their program. From the wonderful teachers and staff to all of the activities they do with the kids. I was very nervous starting my daughter at One years old but the teachers like Mrs. Yukari made me rest easy seeing them interact with her on a daily basis and how much she enjoyed being with them. They are always available when I need them and always willing to work with my busy schedule and are constantly giving me feedback on my daughters development. I couldn't have asked for a better school and teacher for my daughter to spend most of her day with I would recommend this Center to any of my family and friends in need of full-time or part-time childcare. read more

I do not recommend this place , they are very disorganized. My son was her for a bit over a month . They lack in communication. They did not charge me until two months after my son was out of this daycare. I asked several times to be charged and they told me they would take care of it . Well now it ended up being a large amount and I still have to pay for my sons daycare somewhere else since he moved . They don't wear booties in the infant area . When I would come in there would be a couple of kids crying with people cleaning around . Don't understand why . read more

During our short stay at Next Generation, I enjoyed working with Ms. Heidi (head of administration) at the Oceanside facility. She was always very friendly and happy which made me feel very comfortable when I started. The facility itself seemed very well kept and teachers were nice. My son has been going to since March 13, 2019 and we love it. My son has grown so much & I feel like they constantly teaching him new things. Prior to this facility my son was seen as the "problem child" or "aggressive" but they have had patience & understanding. My son is now seen as the boy who loves to give hugs & throws kisses. Ms Emilina is awesome she remembers everyone's names. She also gives a genuine vibe of caring for you & child(ren). I have three children enrolled at Next Generation and I am lucky to have found facility as awesome as this place. Next Generation really takes care of my children. The teachers and staff are very understanding. The facility has a family approach which often leads to my kids requesting to be picked up later then I usually pick my kids up. My work schedule varies and I am a student. I love that Next Generation is open early enough for me to take my kids there if I get called into a work meeting prior to 8:00 am and late enough if I need to attend a work meeting after 5:00 pm. Cassia, my son's teacher, is creative and is able to adapt lessons that children can understand. Cassia incorporates learning games that keeps my son engaged and focused throughout the day....... ALL WHILE LEARNING. Thank you Cassia for demonstrating that learning can be fun. I can go on and on about how amazing this place but to be honest ..that conversation may take days to convey. My children started at one of the other locations and transferred to this one in March. (My wife's turn to start doing the drop off!) We couldn't be happier here. We have a 3 month old, toddler and two children that attend when their elementary school is on break. We couldn't be happier here. My wife is what I'd call a helicopter parent and a little overprotective. She frequently stops in on her lunch or way back from meetings and they are always so accommodating. They constantly say they have an open door policy - and they do. They do just what we asked them to do and everyone is so loving with our boys. We love that our older ones were prepared for kindergarten when the time came too. Overall, a wonderful experience for our family. read more

We left our home daycare due to moving and were very hesitant about the big change for our two year old. We found next generation and are so happy we did. We were worried about losing the home feel of a family daycare but Within our daughters classroom is a little home if it's own. Her teacher Miss Cassia genuinely loves the children and my daughter took to her right away. Seeing her hug her teacher hello and goodbye and talking about her at home let us know how special miss Cassia is. Our 5 year old son has attended since August and we are so impressed. He has not once expressed anything negative and loves to go to school. Ms. Cassia is one of his main teachers and he speaks so highly of her. She's attentive and greets him (and us) every day. He loves circle time and snack time with her as well as outdoor play. She is helpful, positive and kind. My son has come home talking about the solar system, marine life and dinosaurs so the curriculum is top notch! Emalina is always quick with communication and updates as well. I've never felt any hesitation at leaving my son in the care of the awesome staff at Next Gen! My children has been in this center since August 2018, when they first opened up, after a few months has gone by I noticed that things did not seem to be going like I expected them so I brought it up to the director a few time, as we all know opening a new business is hard however this owner has two other locations here in San Diego County so for it to take so long to get up and running, something just does seem right. So I decided after most a year of my children being here that I will be finally removing them. It has gotten worst, they do not want to hear what the parents have to say, the teachers are instructed to lie to the parents when it comes their child getting hurt at their center, and that is if you even get a notice in a timely matter. This center is very unorganized and seem to have a high turn over. All around I am disappointed in myself for allowing my children to be there for as long as they have been. I would rethink about put your child in here. read more
