1st time I went in I told them it was my first time at that location and I was only there visiting. I told them to be very careful and it all worked out fine. But when I went back a second time before going back home everything was awful. She BUTCHERED my eyebrows. Made Them too thin, short, and changed the curvature. Background info on me... I have been getting full face threading for 16 years and I would literally have strangers stop me on the street to tell me I have great eyebrows (weird but true). So when she completely butchered them I was devastated. They take months to grow back and 2 months later I'm still waiting. In addition she didn't even make my hairline straight so that when I try to pull my bangs back it never looks even. Overall I'm furious and devastated. I'm giving the review 4.5 stars simply because this was my first visit to have my eyebrows threaded. I love Newrain! They are very attentive to what you are wanting and they take pride in their work. Off the bat, she (I feel horrible because I forgot her name) told me my eyebrows weren't even and to ensure the even-ness of my eyebrows she measured each side as she was working on them to ensure that they will be even after my visit. She even showed me how to fill-in a gap in my eyebrow hair (I've been growing out my eyebrows)! I will definitely be a regular here. read more

Ive come here over 5 times and the lady that did my eyebrows a few days ago ,just didnt give a shit . i said clean them up and box them .. She cleaned.underneath cut them and showed me them .no , i asked her to do the top and box them . once again she does them i glance at them thinking she fixed them. Went to my car look in the mirror & my friend laughed. Nothing changed . so i go back in . and she looked irritated , does my eyebrows this time taking longer ans finally boxes them. Once i looked at them i told her i like the right one , can u fix the left . pointing at which one , once again she goes to my right eyebrow . no , fix my left . i was so irritated and she went so slowly to show me the mirror . i will not be going back unless the short lady is there . read more

The lady who did my eyebrows this last time I had never seen before. The first thing I always say getting my brows done is keep them THICK. Idk what she thought I meant but my brows are thinner then they've ever been before. They will grow back so I guess I'll get over it but it's still upsetting to look at considering THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FREAKING FACE. One brow was way thicker and she proceeded to tell me that The other brow had a "bald spot" and called it that many times. Tho I'm sure it was only there bc she made it! Seriously, she is the sweetest person and she has such an amazing spirit. I literally felt calm and relaxed... My eyebrows look like it was carved by an artist... Freakn AH-MAY-ZING!... I also got a Brazilian wax... Let me tell you, She got me cleaner than a naked mole rat!.. No child (hair) left behind at all over here... Plus she made me feel at ease the whole time... Newrain has been my go to threading gal since 2011. She deserves all the praise from the countless 5 star reviews on here, but in my book she deserves 10 stars. Over the years she consistently provides flawless work and is just a doll. She has unmatched skills.. she does my full face in 15-20 minutes and it is evident that customer satisfaction is her number one priority. I'm super grateful i found her. Super happy I found them. I was going to a different place where they would always mess up my eyebrows. 2 months ago I found them and went there. The first time Newrain helped me and made me really at ease as I have very sensitive skin so eyebrow threading is not fun at all for me. When I told her about my sensitive skin, she was extra careful and very gentle. It probably took her a few minutes extra to finish my eyebrows but she didnt mind and was happy to help. The second time Princess helped me and was equally nice and gentle after I told her about my skin. I did like my eyebrows slightly better when Newrain did it. They are professional and very polite. I will be coming back! One thing I would mention is the first time I went there, they were burning incense sticks and the whole place had a very strong smell that made my sensitive nose itchy and running. Upon looking through several options in Arlington for eyebrow threading, I came across this little gem. My first time here was okay, wasn't great because the first time having eyebrows threaded is usually the worst when it comes to pain. Since then I've been back a few times but only for my upper lips because of how painful the first time was for my brows. Yesterday I came back and decided to have my brows cleaned up anyway. A new girl worked on me (I should have asked for her name), and she was really gentle. My brows ended up looking so perfect. Highly recommend this place, the price is very reasonable, $12 for both brows and upper lips. Will definitely be back! read more

This was my first time trying eyebrow threading, and Newrain was amazing! I'd been wanting to do it for a while, but needed to let my brows grow out from a bad waxing that left them too thin. It's been over a year since I've had a professional touch my eyebrows. Don't worry. I didn't go caveman style. Nobody wants to see that!! Newrain asked what shape I was going for, and explained the process. I liked that she asked what I wanted. Some places just go in and start doing whatever they want. She shaped them very nicely, and was patient with me. She even offered me a break if I needed (I didn't. There was little pain in contrast to what I've heard before). I let her know of the bad job I'd had before, and she went over the areas that she left for me to grow out to get a perfect shape. She was thorough, very nice, and the cost was great! Update: I revived a response from newrain and she was kind enough to offer me another service and came in to work just for me. She was apologetic and super personable and I love my brows! This is how businesses should function especially after a negative review. I also tried a facial and broke out terribly afterwards. Not sure which herbal products they were (no specific brand) or if they were expired but I really wish I hadn't taken a chance with that. read more

I initially went there because Livingsocial and have been going there for couple months now. She is very friendly and very professional. Her price was great as well (I couldn't find any cheaper one in the Arlington area). The only complaint I would have is that one time I went and she wasn't there (during her business hour); however, I will still go back! Love her threading! read more
