I booked online and it was easy and convenience to set up my appointment. I arrived on time and the receptionist was very nice and professional, they made sure to make me feel relaxed when I mentioned it was my first time getting waxed. They went over a couple of things with me, told me about their specials and introduced me to some other products and services they offered. My waxing specialist was Diamond, she took me to the back where she went to work. Yall, she was so focus and getting every single nook and cranny that the whole thing took no more than 20 minutes. I won't lie to yall, it hurt a LOT!! I never given birth but I feel like this is worse than that haha. I have to place this experience worse then getting a tattoo and I have a few of them. I don't think I wanna go through that pain again but the results are amazing so there's that. There were a couple of spots that were not as painful but there were spots that she missed a spot and went back to get all the hair. Most times my experience here is pretty great. However today was not. This particular waxer pulled the wax so slow off me It was unreal I count finish. Typically waxing is not an issue however her method was not appreciated. If someone is telling me the wax is too hot I would try to cool it down a tab before applying to a DIFFERENT area. Not the best experience this time around. As I've begun a new workout regimen and it's my birthday month, I decided to use a Groupon for a big change. I was able to make an appointment easily and the admin communicated with me by email about my haircut needs. She even offered to have the stylist call me for a prep session! I arrived right on time and Ami brought me back. She was very complimentary about my ridiculously thick hair and asked about what I wanted done. I decided on a much shorter cut and side bangs (my boyfriend's idea). After a soothing wash, she blow-dried my hair, cut it a bit shorter in the back and styled it as you see in the pictures. I was so thrilled with my experience that I had Ami take me through the Aveda products and purchased 3 to continue her styling techniques at home. As well, I bought my first round brush that afternoon! Two weeks later, I'm still receiving effusive compliments from my coworkers, family, and friends.
