I arrived on time and the receptionist was very nice and professional, they made sure to make me feel relaxed when I mentioned it was my first time getting waxed. They went over a couple of things with me, told me about their specials and introduced me to some other products and services they offered. My waxing specialist was Diamond, she took me to the back where she went to work. Yall, she was so focus and getting every single nook and cranny that the whole thing took no more than 20 minutes. I won't lie to yall, it hurt a LOT!! I never given birth but I feel like this is worse than that haha. I have to place this experience worse then getting a tattoo and I have a few of them. There were a couple of spots that were not as painful but there were spots that she missed a spot and went back to get all the hair. I arrived right on time and Ami brought me back. She was very complimentary about my ridiculously thick hair and asked about what I wanted done. I decided on a much shorter cut and side bangs (my boyfriend's idea). After a soothing wash, she blow-dried my hair, cut it a bit shorter in the back and styled it as you see in the pictures. He's there to give you a haircut, but he's also there to spread some knowledge. He showed me how he was cutting my hair and why he was doing it. His consultation was also very helpful, especially because I didn't know anything about hair and how to style it. I wanted to change the way my hair looked in both style and color, and John was there to give feedback and what he thought was in my best interest. I felt like he should have charged for his consultation because he spent a GOOD amount of time providing advice and feedback, time that's worth money, especially when I was his last client for the day and it was getting late. Because he didn't charge extra for consultation, I provided a good tip. What I wish beforehand, which isn't really John's fault, is how to enter the building. It was late, so the door was locked -- luckily, there was someone who let me in. If you ever encounter this situation, just text John and he'll come open the door for you! This is crazy, and what I was left with was nothing even remotely close to what I had asked for in the picture. Which once again, another factor of him refusing to give a yes or no. The only thing we were clear on in the end is that the cut and style were sub-par, and that I did NOT want to pay.
