They have beautiful glassware and wine accoutrements, so if you need a gift for someone on your list who loves wine, just stop by here and you're good to go. I got gifted wine glasses from my husband from here, they are pink ombre and just beautiful.

You and your amazing team were so knowledgable, fun and charming. Your presentation was right out of Food & Wine Magazine. The delicious preserves on the cheese, the beet humus and the decadent chocolate covered strawberries, along with the wonderful wines enhanced our taste buds & added to the tasting experience. Everyone who attended remarked how much they enjoyed themselves. We appreciate all the little extras you did for us. "An Incredible Niagara Falls Tour... Just Don't Miss the Bus"…read more What a tour. Seriously, worth every dollar. From start to finish, this was an extremely professional and well-organized experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the day. One of the best parts is how convenient the pickup system is -- they have pickup locations near all the major hotels in Toronto, which makes the whole process incredibly easy for travelers. There are several add-on options for the tour, and I highly recommend three of them: 1. The boat ride into the falls 2. Journey Behind the Falls 3. The helicopter ride The helicopter ride especially is one of those "you only live once" experiences. If it's outside your budget, though, the boat ride and Behind the Falls are still more than enough to make for an amazing full day. One thing I'd personally skip is the tower stop. The views are fine, but honestly the tower in Toronto is much better. Now for the one major warning: the cancellation and rescheduling policy is brutal. Even if your flight is delayed or canceled and you provide proof, you are still out the full amount. No refund, no reschedule, no flexibility. We learned this the hard way after our flight got badly delayed. I contacted them hoping to move our booking to the next day and basically got told, "good luck and goodbye." That said... the story has a happy ending. We ended up sprinting through the airport, grabbing a taxi directly from the terminal to the pickup location, and arrived at 8:03 for an 8:00 AM pickup. I had been communicating with them during the chaos and they agreed to hold the bus for five minutes. We used three of those five minutes like it was the final scene of an action movie... but we made it. In the end, I absolutely recommend this tour. Just book carefully, maybe avoid scheduling it immediately after your arrival flight, or get travel insurance for peace of mind. If you plan ahead, you're going to have an incredible time with a professional, organized tour company at Niagara Falls.

They made everything soooooo smooth. I arrived 10 min prior to arrival and our guide "John" met us there. He was amazing. Everything was so punctual. The minibus was filled with happy people! We did a few stops along the way including a toilet break at a beautiful flower park, a break for maple syrup tasting. John ensured everyone who purchased tickets to behind the falls and the steam boat tour had tickets. And he happily escorted our group to the front of the line. Everything went smooth and John along the way gave us facts about parks and buildings as well as a few fun history facts about Toronto. I highly recommend this tour. He was extremely patient and it's great for ppl of all ages.

What an unforgettable Wine Tasting Experience at Downtown Winery…read more I recently had the pleasure of visiting Downtown Winery with a group of friends (celebrating the end of a work semester) and goshhh I am still reeling from the incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our wine tasting experience was led by the knowledgeable and charming sommelier, who expertly guided us through the wine selection. We opted for the charcuterie board, which was beautifully presented and offered a delightful experience flavors and textures to pair with our wines. The Wine Wheel was a fascinating tool that helped us navigate the complex world of wine colors and flavors (not going lie...I could barely get it after the 3rd wine tasting lol). It was amazing to see how the different hues and shades correlated with the wine's characteristics! Something new that I learned. But what truly made our experience stand out was the exceptional service. Our sommelier was attentive, enthusiastic, very funny, and happy to answer all our questions. It is a family business, the one of the owners came by, shared their story and seemed passionate about sharing their knowledge and love for wine. If you are a wine enthusiast or just looking for a unique and enjoyable experience, Downtown Winery is an absolute go to place to visit. And be sure to book a tasting and ask for the charcuterie board - you would definitely not regret it.

After a couple seconds worth of deliberations, we decided to pop in and have a quick drink. I'm really glad we did because Downtown Winery is awesome. We weren't too hungry and obviously we had to get some wine, so I decided to try one of their wine flights. I went with the Ménage a trois ("a white wine tags along on a red wine date. pinot gris * pinotage * meritage"), and the wine was brought to the table a few minutes later. I would definitely consider myself a casual wine drinker; I can distinguish good wine from bad, but that's about the extent of it. The three wines presented all seemed very much above average, and they complemented each other beautifully. (I liked the presence of complimentary corn nuts on the table, too. It's always nice to have something to snack on while drinking.) I could definitely see myself returning to Downtown Winery for a more involved experience. It's a really cool little place.
