Wow, this Kensington Market walking food tour was so fun, cool, and delicious! Jusep our guide was a great conversationalist and historian. I adored that all 6 spots were small family owned - what an awesome way for me to experience Toronto! I highly recommend this food tour!

Drove to Toronto, from Michigan, and decided we needed to do a food tour in one of the most diverse cities in North America. We weren't fortunate enough to get good weather, but we didn't let that hold us back. We met at a bagel shop where our tour guide William greeted us with much enthusiasm. He started right on time, and was full of energy. We went to 6 different restaurants, and each were amazing. At every restaurant we got a nice history about the food, and the owners. He was able to answer every question as they came through out the tour. He also stopped at certain parts of the Kensington market to give us a little history on the neighborhood. We ended our tour at an amazing coffee and tea shop. We were given tour pins, and he stuck around till everyone left, and talked to us. Gave some amazing suggestions for our trip to Niagara Falls (which we did, and was amazing). The tour, overall, was a highlight of our trip. I wound up eating the best bagel I've ever had in my life. The coconut bagel at nu bagel is a masterpiece. We went back, and bought a dozen for the road. Wish we had them in Grand Rapids. Thank you William!

This tour was the highlight of our week-long visit to Toronto! Our guide, Jessica, could not have been more accommodating, patient and knowledgeable about Kensington. She added a wonderful depth to the tour by being so personable. We went with young kids and she was terrific with the range of ages we had among our group! It was a special treat to have her food perspective with her own family background of Jamaica. We could not recommend Chopsticks and Forks with more enthusiasm. And they were very, very kind to help us with an issue we had in accidentally double-booking and easily gave us a refund.

Jusep was our guide and the history he shared with us was exceptional in bringing the food context to life. I never would have experienced this side of Toronto on my own and I work in restaurants in NYC so I know my way around the food scene. I truly learned so much today and left with a very full and satisfied belly.

Great experience and even better guide. Make sure to ask for Jessica. We were able to see more than we expected and the food was delicious.

We had William as our tour guide, we booked him last minute and ended up almost doing a "private" tour unintentionally with my husband and I. William was very good at answering all of our questions, giving us time to eat and enjoy, and really introducing us to the "fusion" that there is in Kensington market! We loved it and honestly if we had more time I would have gone back to all those places on the tour. Book this tour today you won't regret it, we loved it.

Omg. I'm so full. My friend and I did the Kensington Market tour. Though it was raining and we were tired, we enjoyed it so much. Walked around with our amazing tour guide, who shines with enthusiasm and passion for food. We got to taste food from 6 different countries. The food was diverse. Very carb heavy. Attached are some of the foods we ate!

I attended Chopsticks+Forks' Korean Food 101 about a month ago. It is a dining experience introducing diners to the diversity of Korean cuisine. The program was designed to teach people about the richness of Korea's culinary delights, one that goes beyond Korean BBQ. The dinner was a 7-course tasting menu, and the portion was pretty substantial for our table of 6 people. Since it was a communal dinner, we were encouraged to socialize with those at the table. The 2.5 hour guided "Korean Food 101" sit-down dining experience ($53 CAD person) introduced us to many dishes that are loved by Koreans. I am quite familiar with Korean cuisine, but I did learn a lot about some of the dishes served that night. We had a total of 7 dishes (+ bachan) that night, and each course was accompanied by a detailed explanation of the origin and background of the dish. For example, I didn't know that the Jap Chae was considered a dish of Imperial decent. The concept behind Chopsticks + Forks is to explore the rich culture of Korean food with other like-minded people who also love food. The company is run by Jusep, who have traveled to over 50 countries, which is very impressive. He was full of energy and enthusiastic about Korean culture and its food. Jusep also shared several personal stories about his childhood and his life growing up eating Korean cuisine, and explained his reason behind Chopsticks + Forks. Overall, I found the event to be extremely well-organized and the food came out in a reasonable time frame. Lastly, the evening ended with a guided tour around a Korean supermarket that is located next door to the restaurant.

It lasted about 4 hours and was well worth the money. This was my 2nd Food Tour and I truly see myself doing one every time I travel.

"An Incredible Niagara Falls Tour... Just Don't Miss the Bus"…read more What a tour. Seriously, worth every dollar. From start to finish, this was an extremely professional and well-organized experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and kept everything moving smoothly throughout the day. One of the best parts is how convenient the pickup system is -- they have pickup locations near all the major hotels in Toronto, which makes the whole process incredibly easy for travelers. There are several add-on options for the tour, and I highly recommend three of them: 1. The boat ride into the falls 2. Journey Behind the Falls 3. The helicopter ride The helicopter ride especially is one of those "you only live once" experiences. If it's outside your budget, though, the boat ride and Behind the Falls are still more than enough to make for an amazing full day. One thing I'd personally skip is the tower stop. The views are fine, but honestly the tower in Toronto is much better. Now for the one major warning: the cancellation and rescheduling policy is brutal. Even if your flight is delayed or canceled and you provide proof, you are still out the full amount. No refund, no reschedule, no flexibility. We learned this the hard way after our flight got badly delayed. I contacted them hoping to move our booking to the next day and basically got told, "good luck and goodbye." That said... the story has a happy ending. We ended up sprinting through the airport, grabbing a taxi directly from the terminal to the pickup location, and arrived at 8:03 for an 8:00 AM pickup. I had been communicating with them during the chaos and they agreed to hold the bus for five minutes. We used three of those five minutes like it was the final scene of an action movie... but we made it. In the end, I absolutely recommend this tour. Just book carefully, maybe avoid scheduling it immediately after your arrival flight, or get travel insurance for peace of mind. If you plan ahead, you're going to have an incredible time with a professional, organized tour company at Niagara Falls.

They made everything soooooo smooth. I arrived 10 min prior to arrival and our guide "John" met us there. He was amazing. Everything was so punctual. The minibus was filled with happy people! We did a few stops along the way including a toilet break at a beautiful flower park, a break for maple syrup tasting. John ensured everyone who purchased tickets to behind the falls and the steam boat tour had tickets. And he happily escorted our group to the front of the line. Everything went smooth and John along the way gave us facts about parks and buildings as well as a few fun history facts about Toronto. I highly recommend this tour. He was extremely patient and it's great for ppl of all ages.
