Nice open atmosphere. Cool and colorful environment. I'm assuming he was the owner, was super friendly and funny, down to earth. They even have samples on the side for the indecisive folks or those that are adventurous and want to try something new and different. Items on menu are more than fairly priced for the quality you get here. We ordered coffees, smoothies, and juices to try. Nothing was overly sweet either which I'm pleasantly surprised of. This place has a small parking lot and on weekends it's packed so you can park at the restaurant in the other end and walk over. I thought I'd give this place a try since it has five stars and raving reviews. I agree with the amazing service but I found some things lacking. I ordered the #2 jasmine cream tea with almond pudding. No doubt this is the most fragrant jasmine tea I've tasted all over Houston. The pudding was fresh and good but I waited over 15 minutes to receive my drink which is about ten minutes longer than the average bubble tea place. I knocked a star off for the wait time. Also, the interior is outdated and the back area wasn't well lit. I was very skeptical of this place being 5 stars but this shop is the real deal! I intended to get only one drink to share, but we loved it so much, we each got our own. The tea and smoothie flavors are sooo on point! There's also a loyalty program with your phone number. Coconut taro smoothie -- perfect balance of both flavors and SUPER tasty. Would drink everyday if I didn't care about my sugar intake. Jasmine green tea - very strong tea flavor which I love! On the counter, there are several bins of samples of many of their different drinks. I think the samples are all made with 100% sugar, so they're too sweet for me, but I appreciated their good flavors and enjoyed being able to taste their expansive menu. The lady working here is AWESOME. She's super friendly and doesn't give you any side eye for sampling a lot. She is happy to talk about the quality of her ingredients. She's Taiwanese but also understands and speaks Vietnamese. The only downside is the parking lot is tiny and tight. But so worth the trip! We loved their food and drinks, and customer service was amazing. We got there and were greeted by a lady with a big smile on her face. She was very friendly and answered all our questions. We tried their Vietnamese Coffee (our fave), Thai Tea, Bulgogi Waffle (Hubby's fave), and Hotdog Waffle (My fave. It was so good!). We love that they have savory waffles. It's a bold claim to call themselves, "Tapioca Master," but I can assure you they have the balls to back it up. You know how when the boba is bad, your drink is ruined, and you try to maneuver your straw above the boba to finish the drink? You won't experience that here. The tapioca is perfectly cooked with a nice, evenly chewy consistency throughout and just a touch of sweetness. I wish they were a little bit sweeter, but it's a very minor gripe. The texture is a winner here. They care about their tea quality, y'all. And that makes them an instant winner in my books. You can't go wrong with any of the milk tea options. You're able to actually taste the tea, and the experience is just so different from many other boba places. What I truly appreciate is that I am able to request a stronger tea flavor with less dairy and sugar, and it allows the tea to shine through even more. But more important than tea quality, they care about -you-. You're warmly greeted as soon as you walk through the door, and you can sense their commitment to the community. They genuinely care about their product and your satisfaction, and will gladly help you if you're unhappy with your drink. You won't get better service from any other boba shop. It's so nice to have good boba options outside of the usual Bellaire and Katy Asia town. Not sure how this place has 4.5 stars but it does not even compare closely to other tea houses in Houston, but maybe that's why it was empty. We were shocked how bad the flavors of the smoothies were considering it was our first time. We have ordered sugar alternatives in our drinks at many other places and that never altered the flavor of the drinks. I've ordered taro smoothies and many other tea houses and they do not taste powdery and artificial like it did here. Also the avocado smoothies tasted horrible and even as they tried to address it and add condensed milk it still tasted bad. The avocado tasted like it was brown. When we returned the drinks no refund was offered just the cashier apologized and did not say anything else. You're better off going to Long Coffee in Bellaire or Tea House or even Kung Fu Tea. It sucks when you pay $12 on drinks and can't even drink them, and the fact that the owner comes on here to argue with customers is ridiculous. If you're in the food and beverage industry I suggest you start listening to your customers feedback instead of being defensive, it may actually help your business. We have a food blog and have been to many places in Houston that have better customer service and better quality drinks. Please save your money and go elsewhere! read more

This is my favorite bubble tea spot in Houston. I don't get to visit too often since I live in Austin, but it's become an essential stop every time I'm in town. I've tried tons of things on their menu, but I always come back to the honeydew milk tea. My wife, on the other hand, goes for the almond oolong tea with tapioca and seems to love it. They always have samples available, and the staff like experimenting with different mixtures of flavors, which always gives you great options if you're itching for something new. I don't really see why this business is 5 stars, it's not bad, but it's not mind-blowing, perfection either. I thought a majority of the four drinks ordered were overly sweet. Of course you can adjust sweetness when ordering here, but that doesn't help a first-timer much. The lychee milk tea and thai tea were the ones too sweet, while the strawberry banana smoothie was alright and the T. Master milk tea was made the best. Such a nice place. The lady who runs the place is so personable and is really happy to help and tell you about their process. The smoothies are 95% fresh fruit that they buy daily. The tapioca is great and doesn't overpower. I personally get half a scoop when I order but a full scoop probably would have been fine here too. The parking lot is the only drawback as it's pretty small and cramped. I was lucky to find a spot but I definitely do not think that that would impact my decision to come back again as everything was so tasty and they were so very nice. She asked me if I work in the area and since my coworkers frequent the place she knew all of their names. I was really impressed at how they have gone above and beyond. They even have an assortment of samples on the front counter which was greatly appreciated since their menu is so large it's almost intimidating. Seriously, the holy grail in this area. It's 5 minutes from where I live and it exceeded my expectations. I've had the jasmine milk tea and matcha green tea smoothie (both with half sugar if you have a sensitive sweet tooth) and they're both satisfying. I usually ask for half sugar anywhere I go because even half sugar is still a lot of sugar for me. But I think for most people, you would enjoy the half sugar more. It doesn't really deduct the taste of the drink and you won't feel like you're eating a spoon of sugar. (This is a huge nudge, trust me). What I like about this particular place is that the drinks are well blended, meaning the after taste isn't powdery and it's not too milky either. I'm not a fan of the tapioca balls but I wanted to try it (do it for Yelp!) and I was impressed. It's soft and tasted like it was just cooked (boiled?). Well done!
