We came to the area for a group bike ride. We got to the area very early so we decided to have breakfast. We shared the minced ham, eggs, and cheese. It came with hash browns and toast. It was plenty for two and very delicious. It's a great starter before a bike ride.

First of all kudos to the chef, the food was delicious!! The service, that was less than desirable. From the minute we walked in, ordered and received our food it was a ridiculous amount of time that it took!! The waitress, never checked back with us, but she did with everyone else, because we watched her. My husband asked for waters since we finished our lattes 20 minutes before our food came, he received one, not two. Lol!! Really a shame, as we live in the area and just happened to be on the bike and randomly stopped in for breakfast. Will not return because of the horrible service with an attitude!

Rueben and Grandmas Omelette

My mom and I stopped here for a later breakfast early lunch. The Rueben was absolutely fantastic!!! Everything came out hot and ready to eat. Very excited to come back!

This place was so cute and homey! We stopped for lunch and loved the atmosphere. The menu had a…read morevariety of very savory selections from sandwiches to soups to coffee and sweets! If you're vegan, vegetarian or need GF options, this is a perfect spot for you! The service was very friendly and collaborative - meaning we were offered great hospitality from all of the staff members. There are additional seating in the back of the restaurant and it was quite roomy. We really enjoyed the food and experience! We will definitely come again when in the area! Quick tips: - You order in front and will seat your party once everyone has ordered. This may have caused some bottlenecks in the line but we got there when it wasn't as busy. - Your food items will be delivered to your table. - Their hot chocolate and coffee drinks were so delicious! - Their cookies and treats are also a must try!

Note that you have to order here before being seated. Not too bad but does put the pressure on to order quickly so you can be seated before others. I went with the turkey melt and upgraded to fries and my partner got a turkey club with a fries upgrade. Together, this meal totaled just over $40 (no extra drink, we got waters). I feel bad giving a low score because of this but I do have to mention that the prices feel much higher than the quality of the food. Yes, we added fries instead of chips which might be the cause for the higher prices, but you can get two well made burgers for less than this so it doesn't feel justified. Additionally, the food was good but not great. My tuna melt lacked a bit of flavoring and only tasted of mayo. Normally this would be fine for me but not when I paid above average for my food. This really is a nice restaurant and in an area that doesn't have too many of those. Our waitress was very attentive (almost too attentive) and the service was good but I don't think I'd choose to visit again.

The booths could use a upholster (or be knocked out completely) the floor was really dirty, and it's just overall a dive bar vibe and if that's your thing- you'll love this place. I however wasn't interested in going to a dive bar, I thought I was going to a simple restaurant with good food... I was so wrong. It's very rare for my husband or I to not like the food that is served at any restaurant, yet not like it enough to post a review... let's start by saying that IF THIS WAS A HOSPITAL, IT WOULD BE GREAT FOOD... but sadly it is not. My husband ordered the prime special which was already sold out for the night by 6:30 (it's is Valentines Day (but poor planning none the less), okay fine... so instead he ordered the brisket sandwich. The bacon that was on the sandwich was so burnt, that it should have been chopped into bacon bits and tossed on a potato... and speaking of potatoes... my husband ordered a baked potato on the side and even after adding 4 little plastic tubs of butter- it was still DRY. He had to add salt and pepper on twice, just to get any flavor. And he is NOT a picky eater. I ordered a sandwich which was okay, but again the bacon was also burnt (not crispy, burnt) and should have been chopped into bacon bits. I ordered mashed potatoes on the side and they were fine (you could tell they were homemade) but I would be shocked if the gravy didn't come from a can. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars instead of one, is that our server was very nice. We gave him a good tip, and decided we would never eat there again. Hopefully he can get some experience here, quit and find a serving job where he can serve actual good food.

The patio has a view of the lake and a few yard games on the lawn. The food tasted very home style. The breakfast tacos were very filling and the flavors and textures were complimentary. Service was attentive and the staff were all friendly. They have parking outside.
