The building is so historic and beautiful. The inside was made more modern which I don't love with old houses, wish they'd keep the original style, but it was nice. I got a honey lavender latte which was amazing. I chatted the barista and the interaction was ok. I sat outside in the back which was lovely. I loved how it was natural, overgrown, things growing. If you need coffee before you go exploring at interstate park on the Minnesota side this is the place to go. It has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We saw a dog with its people on the way in. There are plenty of coffee drinks to choose from. They have their own or you can make up something yourself. I got their turtle drink iced and it was very good. My husband had an iced coffee with hazelnut and cream. He said it was nice and strong. The person waiting on us was efficient and helpful. The cutest setting for a coffee shop - this place is a must stop on a trip through Taylor's falls and was perfect for a post hike coffee on a cold day. There are two levels with seating and it's quiet enough for doing computer work or reading while looking out the window onto the street. Friendly staff too. Really delicious coffee here! We had a group run over and order and bring back to our airbnb - for 6 drinks the price was right and the trip was quick. I ordered a small cold brew with almond milk and SF caramel flavor and it was delicious and full of flavor. Total for all 6 was $30, we all ordered different sizes and different coffees. Nestled in the quaint little small town of Taylor's falls, this is a locally owned coffee shop you won't want to miss. They have all of your basic coffee choices to choose from as well as teas, and a few bakery options such as their delicious homeade morning buns (must try) or grab a vegan granola bar to go with your drinks. They also sell bulk coffee so you can have some at home! Weather permitting, there is a lovely patio out back surrounded by trees or a covered porch out front to enjoy your drinks on or there are multiple tables to sit at inside or a bar with stools where you can watch the barista make the drinks. Head over to the local drive in or hike at nearby Interstate Park along the river after enjoying your cup of coffee. The work area for the barista is very efficient so that he could mix any type of drink and fill nearly any order by standing in one place and slightly moving left or right to quickly fill the orders. An iced vanilla latte, bottle of rose lemonade, and a piece of banana bread came out to nine dollars, but I was unaware that they only took cash or check. Surprisingly, before it could even become an unfortunate situation, the barista handed me an envelope and explained that I could simply send the money in the mail when I got home. Basically, you can't beat small-town service. My sister and I will be driving the extra fifty minutes from the cities to visit this hidden treasure again. Coffee is great, good selection of non-coffee drinks, and the place is classic independent coffee house, filled with regulars, board games and space upstairs. I needed a pit stop after driving from St. Cloud to go visit my friend in Balsam Lake, even though this is a mere 20 minutes from there...I absolutely love little coffee shops like this so I had to stop. I had a wonderful chat with the Owner about his pups and just general pleasant conversation as he made my Chai latte...it was super hot but he warned me so I let it sit for a bit upstairs in the sitting area. It is an old converted house, so there is a lot of charm and character....he said the best time to sit up in the upstairs front area is during a snow storm since it's a dramatic but pretty view. They don't have much for food...but it's still worth a stop if you are driving along the way. read more

What a great little place! My partner and I passed through on our way back to the Twin Cities. The staff here was so friendly and the shop was so cute! They also were so kind when we didn't realize that they didn't accept cards until after our drinks were made. They gave us a little envelope to mail cash or a check back to them. (The man who made our drinks said he hands out 15-20 envelopes a week to people who don't realize they only take cash/checks!) Great service, great people, great coffee. read more

This place was cute but super cramped. Came here to get out of the rain while on vacation. The barista was nice and knowledgeable, but there was a group of who i gathered to be his friends sitting right at the bar being incredibly rowdy. So we went upstairs to find it quaint but incredibly cramped. You couldn't say anything without everyone else in the room hearing your conversation.
