The building is so historic and beautiful. The inside was made more modern which I don't love with old houses, wish they'd keep the original style, but it was nice. I got a honey lavender latte which was amazing. I chatted the barista and the interaction was ok. I sat outside in the back which was lovely. I loved how it was natural, overgrown, things growing. Lovely, go! read more

Quick stop for a hot coffee & iced Americano; wish we had time to enjoy the backyard patio or the nice tables on the porch. During colder months there is plenty of room inside. Bright appearance on the inside with tastefully placed art work. read more

adorable place right in town, I love the vibes of the upstairs! the only thing is, I've been here 3 times and every time the staff is rude. The guy working there is not friendly at all and doesn't tell you until it's too late when he gets your order wrong. read more

If you need coffee before you go exploring at interstate park on the Minnesota side this is the place to go. It has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We saw a dog with its people on the way in. There are plenty of coffee drinks to choose from. They have their own or you can make up something yourself. I got their turtle drink iced and it was very good. My husband had an iced coffee with hazelnut and cream. He said it was nice and strong. The person waiting on us was efficient and helpful. It's the cutest place, an old building with a nice clean interior. read more

The cutest setting for a coffee shop - this place is a must stop on a trip through Taylor's falls and was perfect for a post hike coffee on a cold day. There are two levels with seating and it's quiet enough for doing computer work or reading while looking out the window onto the street. Friendly staff too. Will make a stop next time I'm in Taylor's falls! read more

Funky little coffee shop where you can still get a freshly ground, perfectly frothed mocha in a big white mug! Lots of quirky corners to work in and focus, and a beautiful area out back and patios. The chocolate chip muffin was delicious too! I'll be back tomorrow for sure! read more

Really delicious coffee here! We had a group run over and order and bring back to our airbnb - for 6 drinks the price was right and the trip was quick. I ordered a small cold brew with almond milk and SF caramel flavor and it was delicious and full of flavor. Total for all 6 was $30, we all ordered different sizes and different coffees. I would come back here for coffee in a heartbeat when in the area! read more

Nestled in the quaint little small town of Taylor's falls, this is a locally owned coffee shop you won't want to miss. They have all of your basic coffee choices to choose from as well as teas, and a few bakery options such as their delicious homeade morning buns (must try) or grab a vegan granola bar to go with your drinks. They also sell bulk coffee so you can have some at home! Weather permitting, there is a lovely patio out back surrounded by trees or a covered porch out front to enjoy your drinks on or there are multiple tables to sit at inside or a bar with stools where you can watch the barista make the drinks. Head over to the local drive in or hike at nearby Interstate Park along the river after enjoying your cup of coffee. Important to note, they take CASH ONLY so make sure you have some on you before going! read more

Coffee Talk - a view of a living room and dining area - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Taylors Falls, Minnesota

Have absolutely loved this place for years, it is the best spot in Taylors Falls. The service is always wonderful! However, I am confused as to why they're painting the walls and trim?? It's ruining the character of the place that we have all grown to love and it's what makes it so charming and welcoming. Hopefully they will reconsider and change their minds and keep the original character and style of the place!! read more

This place was super cute and the barista working was so friendly and inviting! There were no people there ordering or dining considering the closure and I'm sure they could use as much business as possible. I ordered a London fog - it was okay didn't knock my socks off but kept me warm on my walk. The kids liked their hot cocoa. read more

A pleasant coffee bar in an old Victorian style house. The work area for the barista is very efficient so that he could mix any type of drink and fill nearly any order by standing in one place and slightly moving left or right to quickly fill the orders. (Tim Horton's mgt. could probably learn something here)! Art decorated walls and indoor and outdoor seating makes for a relaxing place to meet friends and sip. read more

An iced vanilla latte, bottle of rose lemonade, and a piece of banana bread came out to nine dollars, but I was unaware that they only took cash or check. Surprisingly, before it could even become an unfortunate situation, the barista handed me an envelope and explained that I could simply send the money in the mail when I got home. Basically, you can't beat small-town service. My sister and I will be driving the extra fifty minutes from the cities to visit this hidden treasure again. Pros: -great products -thoughtful atmosphere -friendly baristas -fair prices Cons: -only one pastry choice when I visited (delicious) P.S. Don't miss the beautiful artwork! read more

Quaint coffee shop where the locals either stop in for a quick coffee or scrumptious cinnamon bun. Pet friendly and they do have wifi.

Very cute coffee shop in historical Taylors Falls. Prices are a little high, but that's to be expected

This is a pitstop for us on our way up to Hayward, WI. Coffee is great, good selection of non-coffee drinks, and the place is classic independent coffee house, filled with regulars, board games and space upstairs. Right on the main drag in an old house, worth the stop off of Hwy 8. P.S. I would have given 5 stars if the bakery took it up a notch. read more

I needed a pit stop after driving from St. Cloud to go visit my friend in Balsam Lake, even though this is a mere 20 minutes from there...I absolutely love little coffee shops like this so I had to stop. I had a wonderful chat with the Owner about his pups and just general pleasant conversation as he made my Chai latte...it was super hot but he warned me so I let it sit for a bit upstairs in the sitting area. It is an old converted house, so there is a lot of charm and character....he said the best time to sit up in the upstairs front area is during a snow storm since it's a dramatic but pretty view. They don't have much for food...but it's still worth a stop if you are driving along the way. read more

Stopped by here for a quick coffee before a long road trip, was not expecting some of the best coffee I've ever had. I had white mocha and girlfriend had the Umlatte. Both were amazing! The whole building has a great atmosphere and the back patio was very nice. Before we left we ended up getting a third coffee (umlatte again) and it was just as good the second time! Wish we lived closer, highly recommend! read more

What a great little place! My partner and I passed through on our way back to the Twin Cities. The staff here was so friendly and the shop was so cute! They also were so kind when we didn't realize that they didn't accept cards until after our drinks were made. They gave us a little envelope to mail cash or a check back to them. (The man who made our drinks said he hands out 15-20 envelopes a week to people who don't realize they only take cash/checks!) Great service, great people, great coffee. read more

Love this place has a perfect vibe and everyone that works and frequents there is amazing! Best place to go in Taylor's Falls

Local coffee shop with fresh ground coffee and full coffee menu. I grabbed a coffee to go and a sugar morning roll. Both were amazing. This place was cute but super cramped. Came here to get out of the rain while on vacation. The barista was nice and knowledgeable, but there was a group of who i gathered to be his friends sitting right at the bar being incredibly rowdy. So we went upstairs to find it quaint but incredibly cramped. You couldn't say anything without everyone else in the room hearing your conversation. The drinks were good, not great, but this would be a good place to go if you just needed something quick. read more

I'm a keen traveler in the USA and more so abroad. I grew up around this area and a stop by chance passing through for a cup of coffee turned out to be a de-stressor this past week. Friendly is the word. A very good vibe sent me for a stroll down the street and back. To the young man that was the barista, thanks for the envelope. I more appreciated the friendly gesture that it inspired me to walk down and back to pay my bill. I'll pay that forward and see you again. Namaste read more
