I go there for the delicious Middle Eastern food, which, for a buffet, is amazingly fresh and tasty. It helps, of course, that the buffet is replenished frequently. It includes a wide variety of salads, hummus, pita, soup, protein, and desserts--and it's all delicious! If you have not been to the family-owned Mediterranean Cruise, the building itself is surprisingly large and impressive. It features a 25-foot or higher ceiling, a private dining area, and even space for belly dancing presentations. While Mediterranean Cruise offers Mezas, soups, salads, rice and hummus bowls, sandwiches, and more off the menu, you must try the buffet to truly appreciate the breadth of their offerings. Highly recommended.

I have pretty high standards for Greek/Mediterranean food, and it just doesn't stand out anymore. The pita has been dry, although the hummus is still solid. The platters are fine overall, but nothing particularly memorable. Service has also been a bit underwhelming recently compared to past visits. That said, the atmosphere is still a highlight. The space feels very authentic with all the decor, and the belly dancers are always a fun touch. The patio is also nice if you're able to sit outside. Parking can be a little tight in their lot, but there's a ramp nearby which makes it easier.

I usually go to Holy Land , and that is good, but this definitely is the next best thing. This also has a butcher shop, fresh pita and other breads, lots of produce with fresh mint, cilantro and parsley always plentiful and clean. They also have a small deli grab and go next to the butcher are where there are fresh made snacks, za'atr bread, spinach pies, etc The olive and cheese deli section is plentiful as well. There is a separate cafe which I did not try on this visit but will be back for it. Plenty of seating and they had my favorite Falafel sandwich on the menu My favorite part are the little snack goodies in the grocery area such as chips of unique flavors, a variety of candy , and salted nuts snacks. There is a large amount of Indian groceries as well for those looking for that. They say are the largest Halal market in Minnesota for those looking for that niche. They have their own private parking lot and are off of University Ave and 85th Ave. There is always someone available from the store to answer questions. Looking forward to trying their cafe next time.!

Finally made a point to come here for dinner and excited to try out their food! Not realizing it was also connected to the supermarket we wandered the aisles for a bit before heading over to the cooked food cafe. My husband grabbed some olives and immediately started eating them while we sat in the grill area--10/10 no regrets. We ordered the babaganoush, garlic spread, and a falafel sandwich. While we weren't huge fans of the pita (very bready), the dips were so good they made up for it. Great food, great market vibes, and a fun place to try something new!

I love Beirut. It has quickly became one of my favorite local spots…read more It's great for both sit-down and takeout. Their online ordering system is super easy to use, and ordering in person is just as smooth. The menu has such a good variety, everything from fresh salads to wraps and kebab plates. Honestly, everything I've tried has been so good. The garlic sauce is a must, it's incredible. My go-to is the shawarma unwrapped because you get a huge portion and can build it exactly how you want. The food is fantastic and the portions are very generous. The space is clean with plenty of seating, and the staff is amazing. They're so friendly and always make sure you have everything you need.

Lebanese food is just one of those foods that we can't live without. So while we were sad when "The Port" closed, we were excited to hear they were opening Beirut Street Food. Today we ordered their Kabob family meal. That comes with a lot of our favorites. The choice of 4 kabobs, we picked chicken and kafta, 2 vegetable kabobs, salad, their delicious lebanese rice, bread and the addictive toum. We added a few grape leaves and extra bread to snack with that toum. Those who know love bread and tourm. Everything was excellent! I have tried multiple times to make kafta at home and it never is as good as they make it. The chicken is always cooked perfectly. A nice char from the grill, and tender and juicy on the inside. The grape leaves a nice balance of sour from the leaves filled with savory rice and meat. So good. The vegetables were grilled perfectly. Not overly grilled, sweet with a little crisp. Everything was just as we remembered. They are now located in a strip mall with plenty of parking and a few seats inside. While the Sultan is not on their menu., they do have lots of other tasty options that we look forward to returning for.One of our favorite places!
