We really enjoyed this little place. It really is small. We got there just before closing and most of the tables were full. It was a concert day. The waitress was friendly making small talk and taking care of everyone. We ordered cheese curds and BLTs with chips. While we waited we were amused reading all the signs. The cheese curds were delicious. The BLT's we really loved. We felt they tasted just like something we would make ourselves- thick white bread, thick slices of bacon, generous slices of tomatoes and pieces of crisp lettuce and the perfect amount of mayonnaise. The chips were homemade, came to our table still hot and they were so crispy. This was a cute place with tasty food. The one thing I will mention is the bathrooms are tiny. read more

Kennedy's Cafe breakfast's are a 10/10! The quality and quantity of what you get is 5 star. Never have been disappointed and their home made bread made into toast is extremely tasty. The food and service is average, not great but not horrible. Both times I've been there in 2 years they haven't had the item I wanted on the menu. The server told me they don't carry that anymore, then why is it still on the menu at least a year later? read more

Very quaint. Lots of funny little signs on the walls. Perfectly prepared eggs and great biscuits. The thick sausage gravy was a little salty for my tastes. The nicely browned hash browns had onions that were a little undercooked. Coffee needed a goodly amount of cream. Only downside... smallest bathrooms I have ever seen. Prices about average. It was cafeteria food. The scrambled eggs were overdone, the hash browns nothing but grease and the biscuits were so dry you could not even shovel it into your mouth. It was at least cheap. read more

I've eaten here three times. Every time the food was great - and bountiful. Excellent pancakes! Neat, 'down-home' atmosphere: Every coffee cup is different, and great plaques on the wall (my favorite: "I don't know what you do to be so stupid, but it works!"). Stopped here for lunch at around 1:45 pm not knowing that they closed around 2. But they were nice enough to serve us anyway! The waitress was very friendly. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and cheese curds, the boyfriend had the same burger but with fries. The burger was fantastic! So, so good. Subtract one star for cheese curds and fries, however. They were pretty tasteless. Especially since I always expect great cheese curds when I'm in WI! What caused me to go down to three stars was the atmosphere. While I did like the cute, small town cafe feel, the place looked pretty out of date and run down. All of the tables and booths needed replacing in my opinion, as well as the floor. Everything just looked really old. And honestly it was almost uncomfortably small...even in the bathroom, your knees are touching the wall in front of you when you are sitting. I think if they updated a bit and improved some of their food items, this place would be amazing! read more

Everyday Cafe is a quaint little house that serves food inside, outside, and upstairs. The decor is very cozy and reminiscent of the warm kind-hearted grandma's, with many of those cute/witty house plaques with quotes decorating the walls. (We had a fun time reading and discussing them. ) The staff are friendly and honest--we saw them tell a later couple that the wait's going to be longer than expected (in case that changes their plans), and we were gently urged to make up our minds on what to order because a large group that came in after us was about to have their orders taken. I'm typically indecisive and really appreciated that because we hadn't planned on taking too long for brunch. The staff also made great recommendations--I was torn between a sandwich and a burger and their suggestion turned out really yummy!! I had the grilled cheese with tomato and bacon, which was delicious! The cheese was melty and the sandwich overall flavorful; it was not at all greasy! I can't remember the last time I've had such a good grilled cheese sandwich. My grilled cheese came with a side and I opted for the cheese curds, which were delectable. The fried cheese was squeaky ( = fresh) and piping hot ( = string-y), and tasted wonderful alone or with the ranch that came with it. MmMmm! I also had an orange juice, and it tasted so fresh that I doubt it was from concentrate or anything like that. My boyfriend had the Country Skillet and that was good too. :) read more

I've only been to this cafe twice. The first time was many years ago right after weigh ins for a wrestling open tournament. The second time was after celebrating the 4th of July in 2015 on the Apple River. Both times was out of this world. The food is homestyle and high quality. Great omelets! It is in the main floor of a house which is cool and makes it feel even more homey. They have tables on the porch so you can eat ou there too. The staff here are like alot of the people I've met in the small town of Somerset, very very friendly and good people! Definetly stop in if your looking for a good breakfast joint! read more

Atmosphere: The atmosphere was okay. Not the best I have experienced but okay. The doorknob came off mid wait. Good for a small laugh, but that is it. 4/5 on that one. Wait: The wait, to say anything, is lopsided. I came in a small group of 5. First thing that came out was some chicken tenders, about 20 minutes. Then rest of the food came 15 minutes later. It probably didn't help that there was one waiter working at the time, but the place is small. Anyways, the person at our table was sort of awkwardly sitting there while we ate. So, the wait is a 3/5. Food: The food is what you would expect from a small town cafe open from morning until 2. Average. The food is okay, but nothing stands out that much. I sampled a bit of what the other people at my table had, and as mentioned earler, nothing stood out. 3/5 again for this one. Overall, this place gets a 3/5. read more

Everyday Cafe has a nice little cafe atmosphere. The building is like an old home turned into a restaurant with seating indoors, outdoors, and upstairs. The food was pretty good but we did have to wait a while. The bathrooms are so small that your knees touch the wall when sitting down. Still a decent cafe and would return if I'm in the area. read more

The Everyday Café located in downtown Somerset is an absolute gem and everyone should experience it's unique character and hospitality provided by the staff. The menu was designed to satisfy anyone appetite at anytime of the day. The Denver omelette with a side of hashbrowns sprinkled with cheese and aside a whole-wheat toast was the best ever experienced. I can't wait to revisit and try the Eggs Benedict.
