(We had already tried the standard burger at a pop-up they had done and it was amazing.) The food was fantastic! It might look like slightly smallish portions but it really was plenty of food and really tasty. The flamethrower burger was very spicy, which is a nice change from burgers that just put a spicy mayo on or something. This had layers of deep heat and you get it from the second you bite into it. It's not the kind of obnoxious heat that makes you cry and struggle through in pain, though. If you like spicy food, you'll love this burger. The pickle burger was my favorite. It has pickles, pickled red onion, and creamy dill ranch. All of that balances out the richness of the beef. It's such a great burger. The kids burgers seemed to be full size but we're just a simple cheeseburger. The fries portions were on the smaller side but not too bad, and they tasted good. The tots were great. Drinks are canned soda or bottled water. They do have some beer also. It's all counter service, so you can take it to go or sit at the tables outside. But they also have picnic blankets hanging up that you can use to sit on the grass in some shade. Be aware that this is NOT fast food, so you will have to wait a little bit for you food, especially if it's s busy. But it's not an unreasonable amount of time. Compare it to ordering and waiting at any sit-down restaurant. Overall, this is amazing food for St. Croix Falls. We live walking distance away and will probably visit frequently!

Was driving through this town and saw this tiny little spot. Figured this would be an experience,…read moreso I slowed down and turned around. While it's a small little place with walk up ordering and with only a few outdoor seating, the food packed a punch. I'll start with the main event. The flamethrower burger was delicious, just mouth wateringly delicious. I wanted another immediately. It's got the heat as would expected but it's manageable, by no means is it that obnoxious heat. Patty was hot and juicy with melted cheese and crisp yet soft bun. Man now I want another. Curds were as expected. For some reason they covered them in salt after they are pulled from the fryer. Now that may be a local thing since curds are the state staple. However it was just overwhelming with salt. Flavor was there so I'd order again would just ask to hold the salt. Same goes for the onion rings. I'm picky with my rings but the breading was nice. Not too thick and not to thin. Nice flaky batter again heavy on salt. I would most def stop here again for a burger.

They were different than the usual suspect. Cooked so they were nice and crispy. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I also got the tap root beer in frosted glass and that was so refreshing. As a root beer snob, I thought it was delicious. Our waitress was wonderful, very sweet. We were in and out pretty quick, but it was also during a slow time of day.

Walked in and it seemed busy as we were coming in around lunch hour. We decided to grab a table and waited for a staff member. It took awhile before someone greeted us. It seems like there was only 2 people working running the bar and tables. Took awhile for our drinks and got our menus. I read a caption in their menu and it says it's not fast food and service may take approx 30 minutes or so. I thought that was interesting. We finally got to order our food and that took some little time too. Server was nice. I ordered a Swiss mushroom burger with onion rings. It rained out good. When trying to get our bill and pay, we eventually had to track down someone to pay our bills.

The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate. Tried the cheese curds and fried pickles for appetizers- came with delicious homemade ranch for dipping. Got the Rundown and Queen burger with waffle fries and tots to try the different options. I loved the Rundown burger - so refreshing for a summer burger. The tots came with cheese dip - yum! Saw another person order a Bloody Mary and had to give that a whirl. They home make the mix and make them spicy or not to order. The place is broken up into different rooms which made for a more intimate atmosphere while also being able to serve a lot of folks.
