I stopped by to get a light bulb replaced, and he went completely above and beyond--he was not only lightning-fast, but he even helped cover the cost of the bulb so I wouldn't have to deal with the extra hassle. Finding a mechanic who is this honest, kind, and genuinely cares about helping people out is rare. Ricky's professionalism and efficiency are unmatched. If you head to this shop, do yourself a huge favor and ask for Ricky--your car will get taken care of ASAP, and you'll leave knowing you're in the best hands possible!

They called me almost everyday to update me on the process, any costs, or timing concerns. Gino handles the front and was extremely personable, helpful, and honest throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything clearly and never made me feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. Jose did the actual work on my car and did a fantastic job -- my Fiat is running great! My ac was causing lots of issues and has been running cold for a week now! I am always hesitant to have just anyone work and the Fiat but he clearly knew the car and specific details. It's really refreshing to find a shop that feels trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their customers. I would absolutely recommend Gino and Jose, especially to anyone looking for someone comfortable working on European cars. I'll definitely be coming back!

I was hoping it just needed a Freon recharge. After checking the A/C system, Frank confirmed that the Freon was just low and everything else looked good. Luckily, her older car uses the newer, less expensive Freon. I just hung out while he recharged the system, and it was ready to go about 20 minutes later. The cost was only $150, money well spent to get ice cold air conditioning back. The most recent visit was to troubleshoot a service error code and ABS and brake warning lights. I was hoping this would just be a sensor on one of the wheels, but Frank said it looked like the main ABS ECU unit was faulty. Given the potential cost of the repair, it didn't make sense given the value of the car. I appreciated his honest opinion. He said there was no charge, but I still tipped him for his time because he always takes great care of me. I have tried a few other shops in the area over the years, and had initial good experiences. However, they all eventually gave me an estimate I knew as wrong, or didn't do work they said they did. I've been going to Frank ever since, and trust him 100%. As parents whose daughter is currently away at College and not living close to us, we tend to worry about her and her vehicle. However, since we have been taking the VW Beetle to Mike's Foreign Car repair, it's one less thing for us to worry about and we know it's in great care. Not only do we see their expertise, efficiency and pride in their work but we also experience great professionalism when we call and during the day when they give us updates. I also want to mention that Mike's Foreign Cars prices are fair especially for a college student in a college town. Thank Mike's Foreign Car for always going out of your way for taking care of our daughter and her vehicle. We truly appreciate everything you and the other staff have done for her.

They took the time to explain the repair, confirmed the diagnostic code, and even pointed out a few things I should do to help my Prius last longer. They noticed my hybrid battery cooling fan was missing after I told them I just had it "replaced" at another shop. That's the kind of information you don't usually get from a repair shop. They ended up not needing to drop the subframe, so they adjusted the labor instead of charging me for work they didn't have to do. It still took the amount of time they said it was going to take, but still discounted me a little bit which I thought was cool. I also had them do an oil change while it was there, and even that was less expensive than what I normally pay at places like Jiffy Lube or Valvoline. If you own a Prius or any hybrid, I'd definitely recommend checking them out. More than anything, I left feeling like they genuinely know these cars and took the time to educate me, not just fix it. I'll definitely be bringing my Prius back if I ever need anything else.
