It has been great so decide to get my 2002 Ford Explorer done here. The explorer was jerky only after a cold start so we tried going with a smaller fix before doing a full rebuild. I was quoted around $1k. It took around 5 days before I got my car back. He gave me a warranty of 2 weeks, full credit towards a rebuild, or after 2 weeks for 6 months, it would be $500 credit. The car was driving fine except during traffic so I had to bring it back in to get the full rebuild. It costed around $3k but I paid $2k since I got the $1k credited back. It has been a week, and the car has been fine since then. I recommend Leeco Transmission as they are very honest and kind. Sam was always friendly and does a good job. I believe they have employees here who speak mandarin or korean if needed. They do not have parking here, you just drive your car in.

Your employee did not present these items to me as casual recommendations, preventative maintenance, or repairs that could simply be considered later. The conversation was presented to me as "you need this now." That is exactly why I became concerned about putting roughly $3,800 into a van with only 55,000 miles. It was only after I pushed back and said I would rather get rid of the van than spend that amount that the conversation changed and some of the work began being described as "recommended." Your response repeatedly refers to what the finalized invoice does or does not say. My review was never based solely on the wording of the invoice. It was based on what I was told during the phone conversation. I then took the van to another shop for a second opinion. They inspected it, including the brakes, and told me the van was in great shape and did not need the level of work that had just been presented to me. I'm not saying your shop wasn't entitled to make recommendations. I'm saying the way those recommendations were verbally communicated to me made them sound necessary and urgent. That distinction is the entire reason I left the review. I stand by my description of my experience and still recommend that customers get a second opinion before approving a large repair estimate. That version is stronger than accusing Terry of lying outright because it sticks closely to your firsthand recollection and the sequence of events. It also directly answers his biggest defense: "the invoice didn't say the repairs were immediately required."

I had previously taken the van to the dealership, where the spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced, but the misfire was still not resolved. Alexander performed a thorough diagnostic and correctly determined that the fuel injectors were causing the problem. He replaced the injectors and used dealer-level Mercedes diagnostic equipment to properly code and program them to the vehicle. We also discovered significant carbon buildup on the intake valves, which is common on direct-injection engines. Alexander had the proper walnut-blasting equipment and performed an intake-valve carbon cleaning. I was very impressed with his knowledge of Mercedes vehicles, advanced computer diagnostics, fuel-injector programming, and direct-injection systems.
