The painter in the shop Matt's son will fly off the handle and start cussing at you screaming at the top of his lungs calling you every name in the book He will even tell you if you want the old part dig in the dumpster and get them. Way unprofessional and way over the top. Matt will lie to you any chance he gets. if he tells you the parts are inn, well their not and when he tells you your car will be done in 4 to 5 days plan for 2, 7 day weeks. If your car needs a new headlight then they have to wait til it comes in before they paint and everyone knows you don't paint the headlights.They only paint the cars if you're going to pick it up within 2 or 3 hours he doesn't believe in painting and letting it cure a little before you take it. Apparently he doesn't think paint needs to cure..it's been nothing but ignorance, lies,unprofessional behavior ,and the arrogance is overwhelming.. o ya and they think they are the only paint shop in idaho so they can treat the customers like dirt.. beware of this company you will be better off passing them by..

We frantically began calling around to see if any repair shops could get us in that day (as we were staying near Yellowstone). Green Light Automotive squeezed us in, met us outside as soon as we pulled up, and began diagnosing the issue. The owner of Green Light Automotive even used his personal vehicle (with car seats) to drive us into town to hang out at a restaurant while we waited for the repair to be done! That's where you'll find Jacob and David in Rexburg. First of all, Lance with cutthroat towing got my butt off the freeway, but Aaa wouldn't take the trailer. Lance got me to Randy with all season towing and he came and got the trailer and brought it over to green light auto. I was desperate traveling from Los Angeles to Montana to pick up my son and his car. Everyone could've easily gouged the crap out of me, and not one of them did. I guess that's the difference between California and Idaho. Jacob and David assessed the problem and it was a big job a lot of work and they did it for me the day I brought it in I think an angel sent me to them. To top it off Jacob's suggested I take a walk to the snake river. Absolutely beautiful it's not just the countryside it's the people that make this God's country. Eternally grateful to Jacob Lance, Randy and Nancy and I didn't get the dogs name lol.

I didn't even have to wait an hour and the work was completed. They also replaced a light that was out, free of charge. They did BUT now the key doesnt work. I left tired of the incompetence and afraid of more damage to the vehicle. Once I arrived home I realized they did not return my $500 key I had just bought at the dealer. When I called back they said.........we dont have it, we will look. Never did I receive the key or a refund on the horrible work that was performed. You should never go here unless you dont care about your vehicle, quality work or losing your items that are in their posession. I lost over $1,000 trusting them with my vehicle.

We had tremendous and timely service from the Rexburg Car Shop. Having turned wrenches on and off for 35 years myself I was grateful to the Rexburg Car Shop for taking on a complicated repair which took a lot of very expensive shop grade tools to repair. They were fair in their pricing and the warranty on the parts and labor is for three years, not just one year.

Credit union contacted WA DOL, they do not show receipt of paperwork. Credit union is checking WA DOL daily for this since they are lender and require the title as collateral. Dealership should have payment receipt for tax, title and registration fee paid, they should be able to determine if the payment was collected. They are not sharing any further information. Dealership is not taking ownership of this problem. I called WA DOL today 7/24/26, I gave them the VIN, they have no record of any correspondence or receipt of payment. I asked if they tracked if they perhaps received something, and for example, the paperwork was filled out wrong, or the money received was wrong. Anthony at WA DOL said yes they track every single thing they receive on that VIN and they show the vehicle last titled in Idaho in 2020. Anthony also said they are required to process any payment received within 48 hours and there is no record of any payment. Dealership is not returning our calls. We have no title and no registration. It is frustrating and disappointing because the salesman Brycen was so nice to work with too.

A simple explanation that the vehicle needed to be inspected would have been sufficient. Professionalism and customer service matter, especially when customers are trying to understand their repair options. Based on this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

It was in the upper 90's outside and my mom has health conditions that make her susceptible to heat. She was very panicked about driving home to SLC without AC. She called a bigger chain and they told her they did not have time to fit her in and that their waitlist was several weeks out. They called A&S for my mom. A&S fit her in that day and got her AC working for her drive home. She gave us their name and number and told us that if our daughter (attending BYUi) had trouble with her car to call A&S. Hardly believable, almost one week later my daughter had trouble with her alternator. She was able to coast it into her apartment parking lot and called home in tears. I remembered how A&S had taken care of my mom just a week before. I immediately called them. The service we received was impeccable. They picked up my daughters car that day. Diagnosed the problem and gave us options the next day. The following day we had a call that the work was all done. My daughter had no way to pick up the car, so A&S came and picked her up at her apartment and took her to pick up her car. Way above and beyond what would be expected. You just don't find people with this much integrity, kindness, and willingness to help nowadays. A&S is truly one of a kind. If you or anyone you know has car troubles of any kind I would absolutely without any hesitation recommend that you call A&S.

We have been here twice. The first time was for a light change in our Subaru. It was changed…read morequickly and we didn't find any problems. We went back to have them change our head gasket and back windshield wiper blade. Their quote price was about $1,000 cheaper than other places in Rexburg. We thought we got a great deal. They were quick and very friendly. Unfortunately, we went to a Subaru dealership about 8 months later because the front passenger airbag was recalled (2007 Outback with no accidents). They told us our head gasket is leaking. How can this happen when it wasn't even a year old? Now we're possibly spending another $3,000 or so to get it changed or we'll just have to junk it since we've already put way too much in it. It's very disheartening since we trusted Auto Aspects. Also, when we got our car back after taking it to them, our back windshield wiper was misaligned. We took it back and they fixed it, but it's still frustrating that it wasn't done correctly the first time. Update: I read the comment from Auto Aspects. They are correct, we were within our warranty. However, why would I return to a place when it wasn't done correctly the first time? We took it to the Subaru dealership instead. We trust the dealership's knowledge of or specific car and now we will only be taking our vehicles to dealerships. Lesson learned!
