This place is a total scam. They prey on people looking for apartments on Craigslist. When you call about the apartment you saw, they start to sell you on their service right away. I got suspicisous when the girl was more interested in signing me up then telling me if the unit I was looking for was available. Furthermore, her sales pitch was "...we find apartments for people who are looking to move in a hurry" - you mean people who are getting evicted from their old apartments? I told her I needed to do a little research on her company, so she gave me their web address, but instead I did a Google search and came across all of these negative Yelp reviews. I called about a Craigslist listing for an apartment in Hollywood. Got the spiel about how they have several apartments available in that area and in my price range. GREAT! So he asks me all about what I am looking for in an apartment. I give him the details... Then... Ok, I can have a list of apartments for you to look at within 24 hours, we just need your credit card number to process the $34 fee... What? Yeah, total scam. They offer a full refund though if they don't give you at least 3 suitable listings. But you need to provide "evidence" of their failure within 15 days of payment. read more

The 5 star review from Tommy M. is FAKE. Look, the account is made the same day as the post, as well as the other posts the account made (all of them are 5 stars as well). The account is posting from Locoma, where the company is based (not even Venice. I guess you could have gone to Locoma to make the post even though you live in Venice now apparently). So way to go in trying to save your horrible rating. Now you all look even more like a scam. Found this company through a Craigslist add promising $750/month in San Fran. Intriguing, and too good to be true. Here's why: I am on my third day with this company. I started with them on Wednesday, signed up, and was told I would get my first set of listings tomorrow. I got 1 set listing with some promising listings. However, the price discrepency is noticeable from the listing (cheapest I got for a studio was $895/month in the middle of the Tenderloin, the ghetto of San Francisco). Acceptable price difference, as it is no comparable with the normal rates of San Francisco. All of the listings's phone numbers they gave me all went straight to voicemail with no responses from any of them in 3 days. I called them yesterday, Thursday, and they said they would get me another set of listings today (same as the original deal). No new listings came in all of Friday. I called them again today, Friday, at 4PM Pacific time (during their working hours), and no one answered. Guess they took off early this Friday off. I've sent numerous e-mails documenting the timeline of how this is going along with their Terms and Conditions. I will post up later with how it all turns out. I just wanted to post this now, so no one else has to go through what i'm going through right now. An ordeal. This will be short; they have a tiered pricing system, $34 for 'basic', extra $19 for 'premium' service, none of which was pointed out in my initial phone call. I bought it, being told I'll get a list in an hour, and nothing yet. I believe they put honeypot ads on CL to get you to call, and that's why I did. To obtain a refund, I have to snail mail my request to Lompoc, and wait for them to receive it. Their site won't give you a valid email to send a request to. This is absolutely a scam. They charged me the $34 application fee BEFORE I ever received confirmation via email that I had set up a contract with them. They also haven't even sent me any listings yet. Don't waste your time. Look for this number in any CL post: 619.309.47725 OR 805.633.4608. If you see it, then you know it's a New Rental List post and it's just another way for them to lure you in to get $34 out of you. They say you can get a refund but you have to snail mail in the request and then call back to make sure they received it. This is just bad business all round. I'm very disappointed. read more

I wish we could all get together for a Class Action Lawsuit against this company. I paid my fee, but only received rental listings the first few days of service (some of which were not within my criteria). After these initial days past, I kept calling and leaving voice messages and sending emails to ask for a new list but they did not send a new list. Stay away from this company. If I could put zero stars I would -- TOTAL SCAM!!! I signed up because my roommates and I were scrambling to find a place and both working full time, didn't have time to search for apartments. I was very skeptical but spoke with the sales rep and he reassured me that it was safe and effective. I only fell for this out of desperation, and I figured it's only $34. Same exact complaint that everyone else posted. Called looking for apartment on Craig's and got this joke of a service. Almost didn't do it but figured what the heck only 34 bucks thank god that's all it was bc in order to get a refund you have to get all this proof you didn't move or some crap obviously I moving that's why I called about the ad in the first place just bc they did help me find a place doesn't mean I'm not moving. Do not waste your money on this service. I have tried and tried to give this service the benefit of the doubt. And I'm in the middle of this right now. So I requested a very specific criteria, I got nothing even close to where I wanted plus the first 4 listings were rented already and the managers kept getting mad at me because they don't know "where the sign is" and they keep getting calls. Once I calmed down I asked for a second list. Finally! The next day I get one, then I see the first 4 listings were already on craigslist. That's where I lost it. Why the fuck would I pay u Money to get listings that are already free? I was pissed! Oh and btw the email that u get only have about 10 listings. I can call 10 phone numbers in 20 minutes! Not 24 hrs. I'm apartment hunting for Christ sake! I need to move out! And find a place to live! yea, like anyone would, I thought I could spend all day apt hunting. They say that you'll be helped untill you find a place, pfft! They'll help you alright, once every 24 hrs! I found it to be a very stategic way of saying " we can take as long as we want". Oh and if u purchase the "premium" package which Is 19 dollars more, you will "supposedly" get on the top of the list. The employee "Chris" was the coolest guy there. Everytime I called and I would get Chris I would tell him how stupid it all was going for me and he would respond with "I'll bump u up on the list cuz your calling so patiently every-time" but I felt like I was playing a game. The list should be free if you want to target a broader clientele. Free to view once u purchase membership. The premium pakage is bull crap, the emails don't provide adequate criteria nonetheless a good time frame for the desperate mover or nonetheless wasting money on paying employees to service customers. Westside rentals made it big by providing this exact same service.I have been searching for apartments for the past 4 months already and I found it insulting for your company to have the audacity to send me listings that I had already VISITED in person through craigslist.
