I come here when I'm in Houston because it's close to my in laws house. I've never had a bad experience. They always take their time and I'm happy with my pedicure. They are in an obscure shopping center near a huge Middle Eastern market called World Food. $15 for a spa pedicure or $22 for manicure and pedicure. I can't even get a pedicure for $22 in Austin! First time to this part of Houston. Used Yelp to find a nail salon for a mani/pedi and followed the rating to this salon. I was not disappointed. Tina did an outstanding pedicure and missed no steps along the way. They skip the foot massage for very thorough cuticle care, skin softening, and nail buffing. The prices are unbelievably low at $24 for both services w/$5 extra for French tip. Not a luxury spa by any sense but the shop is clean and sanitary. Don't look to be offered water or a glass of wine. You get exactly what you came in for and right out. There were plenty of people being serviced and waiting, yet Tina took her time and did a good job for me. They moved chairs well with no walk-ins waiting over 15min. This is my go-to nail salon! My mum and I visit at least once a month, and are never disappointed. I used to get a mani-pedi because I liked to get my toes and nails on point. Plus, the cost of that is only $22, so I cannot complain. Now, I go for a refill (with some powder gel stuff, and like $10). It is similar to acrylic nails without the plastic on your fingers. Generally, I make an appointment with Amy because she makes excellent nail designs, and is always open to trying out something creative. My mom asks for Van because she is incredibly sweet, and is great for conversation. I feel like we are extended family whenever we enter this place, which is just great. On a side note, I do not suggest getting waxed here. I tried once, and the wax was wayyyyy too hot, and burnt my skin, So beware! read more

Amazing place. I got a manicure and pedicure with French tips on both for $30 INCLUDING TIP!! They take their time and cut your nails properly, clean your feet (not hardcore but a standard clean), and redo anything that doesn't look right or is messed up. I really enjoyed it and it took only 1.5 hours to do both. Their chairs are nice and the overall salon is generally clean. The women are super nice. I really liked Lin. read more

First time visiting here, I asked for a decent nail design for a wedding. the lady changed up everything I wanted and put a funny design on my ring fingernail, it looked tacky and as soon as I got home it was peeling off. Went back the following day for a correction and had to pay 15 dollars extra for this. Like the 90 dollars I had paid the day before was not enough. Came to the salon because of the cheap price on the window. Right when I entered she highered the price. I didn't really mind. Then when she started doing my nails she was very rough cutting my nails and she didn't prep them at all. She added too much glue which went everywhere my fingers are sticking to everything. The guy who did my nails was so bad for one he didn't even clean my actual nail you could still see the dirt even after putting on the fake nails second the fake nail did even match my real nail you could still see my real nail from the side third he put shellac on my nails and it was so thick worst job ever now two days later and my shellac is coming off. So I go to this place because it had 4 1/2 stars and now I'm thinking those previous reviews must be fake. I took my two sisters there and we all had a terrible experience. As of now, my toe is currently swollen and full of pus because of how botched the pedicure was. Basically this is why this place deserves a big DO NOT GO HERE SIGN (1) they do not seem to sterilize or clean their tools.. each manicurist has a canister with their tools put together. The nail files are full of nail powder on them... yuk (2) their staff seems very incompetent. For starters, the lady that did my nails was trying to take out some skin next to my toe nail. She pulled so hard that I instinctively yanked my foot back. When I brought it back to normal position she kept pulling on the skin and it immediately started bleeding! She then tried to do the same thing on the other side of the toe! Now, anybody that does their toe nails knows what happens when you take out the skin next to your toe nail and it bleeds... days later your toe swells up and is full of pus.. and that's exactly what is happening now :( I asked the lady to simply rinse my feet and stop the pedicure.. I was bleeding...why would I want her to put some DOLLAR STORE (Jordana brand) nail polish that was used on who knows how many people on my open wound. She did not apologize and simply charged me FULL PRICE for the pedicure. As for my sisters who went, they were less traumatized but also unhappy. My sister who wanted to get acrylic nails found out they have some other type of nails instead... not sure... she had to ask her lady to please allow her to soak her nails before she just cut them off..which she reluctantly complied. As to my other sister... her nails were left with nail polish on her fingers. Overall our experience was very negative... I wanted to also get my eyebrows done but quickly changed my mind as I had lost all faith in them. read more

At first I liked it because they were nice quiet. I went for my full sets and pedicure done. I broke one of my full set nail and went to get it fixed. The staff went from smiling to rude. They wouldn't take care of me but then they got to me switching between people (one person took me then I got moved in the middle then again got moved) then finally got last person but he wouldn't bother to match the same full set with others. And my thumb nail was done so quick the powder is uneven. I'm so disappointed!! Just because you don't charge someone to repair doesn't mean you show attitude. If they have that much issue charge the person but do the job right!!!. I would not recommend this place for people who wants to make this place a regular place for menu/pedi. They could've treated me right for me to go back. I was in the neighborhood for groceries so stopped. It never again to this place I would drive a mile extra to go to another place.
