At that time the service requested was a full set and pedicure. I ended up paying $135+ for the services due to various factors (nail length, nail shape, etc.) The service requested today (January 15th) was a soak off and manicure with shellac. I made an appointment an hour prior, so that way I can secure my spot and notify the lady on what service I wanted ahead of time. Once I arrived, the lady was aware that I was the 11:30a appointment, however, was unclear on what services I needed. The quality of customer service was unprofessional. I asked for a soak off multiple times yet the lady continued to drill my nail bed, and started to use the tip of a fake nail to separate the colored powder from my nail bed until I snatched my hand from hers. I understand that a soak off is time consuming but her process was going to damage my nails. Once she finished removing the fake nail and powder, next was a manicure with shellac. She brought a glass bowl with marbles and water. When I asked the lady if I can have warmer water to soak my hands she claimed that I took to long to put my hands in and that's why it's cold. The water was extremely cold, there was no possible way that the water went from hot to cold that fast, and it was freezing outside! Overall, the vibe is very unprofessional and uncomfortable. As a customer, I noticed that the staff started to get overwhelmed when customers started pouring in. I honestly felt unappreciated since every other customer in their wanted full sets and i just wanted a simple manicure. There was no professional greeting (I.e, "Good morning, how are you? How can we help?"), or attentive listening. I repeated myself multiple times to get my point across. Never coming back! I'm fortunate to find another nail shop that did a wonderful job on my nails: Kathy Nail Spa.

I always get my full set done by Nina and always call ahead of time to book an appointment but the experience I had yesterday I will never go back as I was sitting in the chair getting my full set done by Nina that took about 2 hours but for the last 30 to 20 minutes I started itching really bad on my buttocks. I saw fruit flies flying, and I just assumed maybe it's the fruit flies biting me, but the itching was getting worse and worse at this point Nina was painting my nails I got shellac and you know how you have to put it under the light so I couldn't scratch my buttocks. I was suffering, but I was trying to hold it in because I was embarrassed. How can I say wait let me scratch my butt. So I waited until she was finished as soon as she was done I rushed to the restroom and took my pants off and shook it. I saw one bed bug fall off. I looked inside my pants and saw blood stains from where the bedbug had bitten me. I started examining my buttock and saw large bumps all over my right butt cheek. They itched so bad. at that point I started taking pictures just so I could see more clearly. I was so disgusted. I put on my pants and proceeded to go to the front to inform management. Kim and the other manager was very dismissive and told me no we don't have bedbugs we have leather seats. How can bedbugs get in leather seats? I proceeded to show them the pictures and they dismissed me. They said no they don't have bedbugs. I was so shocked. I am a long time Customer and always pay. It's never been an issue for me. I told them that I'm just letting them know so they can do something about it and that I'm not looking to get free service or anything they continue to dismiss me and say no we don't have bedbugs and walk off. Kim came back was very rude and told me OK. The most we can do is give you 10% 0ff... My full set was only 64 dollars so it went down to 54. They didn't care about the injury I suffered in their business. So I proceeded to pay and told them I will never come back. I gave this nail salon another try and Vincent got my nails down exactly how I wanted them the first time. Not too long or too pointy. Definitely going back. Sometimes you just have to keep trying new techs because they all work different. Pointy and chunky is just not to my liking. So don't bash the techs just because you don't like it. Give someone else a try. The nail salon staff are all good and kind people.
