I have tried this place a few times and the last two were a disappointment and waste of money. I went this weekend and ask for gel nails with builder gel. Well... my nails came out very thick and not what I wanted. Mind you, there were not a lot of customers when I went. The service felt a little rush, some of the tools that the technician use did not look clean. I even asked ChatGPT for an honest review maybe thinking it was in my head but nope. Third time I noticed how they reuse things for pedicures. The lady working on my pedi was literally just washing my feet I had to request for her to remove my dead skin. The male that was doing my nails had a weird sense of humor not sure if he was being sarcastic. My nails had corners where they were so see through, I had leftover acrylic on my skin and lots of cuticle. I had to reshape my nails to hide the color and cut cuticles at home. My regular go to Nail Salon is Nails Unlimited in Sugar Land but I decided I would go to Meadow's Nail Spa because I was in the area and plus a friend of mine told me she went there before and was satisfied with her results. Also I read reviews, looked at photos, and decided I would like Katie (Pedicure) and Anderson (Nails) do my nails for me. I called Katie, spoke with her and told her my request. She told me to come in at 11:30am and she would start on my pedicure but Anderson would be in at 1:30pm. I told her that's fine. I show up she's not there, the gentlemen in the first chair tells me she went to the store and ask me to have a seat. Katie walks in 5 minutes later. No problem. Then she passes me off to 2 other employees, that I seen doing pedicures. The lady started on my nails and the man on my toes. It was a disaster. They didn't know what they were doing. I complained and Katie takes over and does my nails. I let the man finish my pedicure because I was disgusted and just ready to go. My toes still hurt from having ingrown great toenails. Katie finished my nails, I check out and she tells me The Gentlemen that told me to have a seat was Anderson. So Anderson was there the entire time but was busy; Ok, why not be transparent and say that at first. Anyway, I will not be going back. The bottom line is when a customer ask for certain nail techs; don't lie to the customer. If the techs are not available, let the customer know.
