Pros: wide selection of polish, quiet (they keep chit chat to a minimum) and definitely walk-in friendly. I went at 11 am on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Cons: the gentleman that did my shellac mani didn't do the neatest job cleaning my cuticles and the polish is heavy, kind of goopy and not the best paint job. Paid $45 for a basic pedi and a shellac mani. The young lady that did my pedi was super sweet, very quiet but friendly. She really took time on me. I don't live in the area but was out in Sugarland/Stafford for errands. I don't think I would come back just because Im not completely satisfied with my mani and it's too far from my home. read more

Last night I made an appt for 6:30pm and sat and waited for almost an hour before I asked if I'd be getting in anytime soon, to which they avoided answering my question. I decided to leave and come in today instead. This time I didn't bother making an appt and went in this morning. After being seated and given a waiting card, I stated that I would need to be out of the salon within an 1.5 hours (as I was only getting a manicure), and the women told me if I wanted to make a time limit they can't take me, and sent me on my way. I wanted to give this place a chance despite reviews because it's so close to my house. The nail techs are very nice but they need more training. It took them much longer than most nail salons to get a shellac manicure and pedicure right and it still was not great. Meh and meh. I already dislike getting my nails done, and this place made the experience even more unbearable. So I came here on a Tuesday evening after work. This place is about a block from my house, and I was in desperate need of getting my shellac taken off (it was getting to that point where parts of it was starting to peel...not attractive). Since I have a work meeting tomorrow and I don't want my nails lookin funky, I decided to stop by this place on my way home. When you walk in you'll notice it's kinda the bare bones of a nail salon. No real decorations, or soft music, nothing really to get you in the relaxing mood. The back of the salon is kinda messy and there's random containers and stuff laying around. Not the best nail salon atmosphere. The woman who did my nails didn't say much, but was kind of rough with my nails. She literally scraped off the polish (which isn't how I usually have seen gel taken off). It wasn't pleasant to say the least. I had asked her to shape my nails (since that's what I've seen other salons do when they take your shellac off), but she didn't do that at all. She scraped each nail with a nail filer ONCE (ok home girl, that doesn't do anything). To add to it, she made me point my fingers up as she was "filing" my nails which made it somewhat painful. Bleh. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back unless my nails looked reallyyy crazy, and I had to get them done right that second, and no other salon in the city was open. However, that will probably never happen so....I probably won't be back. read more

This is my regular spot. I come here every month so I speak from a wide range of experiences. I absolutely love this place. The ladies are great and offer the best customer service. They actually engage in conversation with you. They do a great job and clean your nails throughly. And to top it off, great paint job. They're clean and hygienic here. Came here even after reading reviews. They went out of their way to make my 6 year old daughter comfortable and the girl who did her nails did a fantastic job. She even painted flowers on her toes. Which was an extra that they did not charge us for. I got a pedi but the woman who did it was nice and did a great job. Yes, there was not a lot of chit chat, as the other reviews state but I'm ok with that. They have a wonderful selection of polish too. Will definitely return! read more

Cindy leaves my nails perfect every time. This place is located in a not so crowded shopping center. I always make an appt the same day. Cindy is always so nice. It's not one of those nail salons that have loud music... this place is relaxing its quiet you go in and out. Never have waited more than 5 min if I had no appt. One of the worst salons I've ever been too. The staff doesn't know what their own prices are, and then they argued with me when I wanted to pay the price listed on their boards. Plus the staffs English is very poor, I understand that not everyone speaks perfect English, but at least one person on staff should be able to speak somewhat clearly. They painted all over my cuticles with very choppy strokes, almost as if stabbing my fingers with the polish wand. She got an attitude when I asked her to fix it, so I just told her to wipe it off. Even with that, she did a horrible job, leaving polish all over the place. I asked for a cotton ball and remover and removed it all myself. Then she leaned in and got very close to my face with her nasty, onion breath [with her mouth wide open showing me her food] to tell me if was time to pay. Oh, how foul the smell was. Terrible!! I have given this place 3x's to try to take care of me and they have hit my three strike rule! First visit I thought I was going to have to polish my toes myself after telling her how I liked them polished and she still wouldn't listen. Second visit I asked for my nails to be filed a certain way and the owner came over and told her how to do it and she still wasn't doing it right. I asked for the file to do it myself and the Cindy the owner came over and sat down and did it..but last night takes the cake!! I went in for a pedicure and again ended up filing my own toe nails then she tears the toe separators out and I am telling her no right after she finishes and she telling me "they dry they dry" and touching my toes and putting finger prints on my toe nails!! I was LIVID!!! I had also taken with me my sister for a manicure who asked to see a price sheet and was never shown one the lady just sat down and started working on her and 20 minutes later was finished!!! I already knew she did not get what she wanted! I asked Cindy the owner what the problem was and she told me that she didn't understand English. I told her she understood it well enough to run my credit card!! Her response was they know money!! She kept calling me "my friend" which I am NOT her friend as a matter of fact... Far from it!!! So I gave this place a forth chance and shouldn't have!!! What can I say... I'm a sucker I guess? Same woman and still same errors!!! WTH!? She didn't cut the freakin cuticles on my toes and polishes over them... Like I'm not going to notice that! I will not be returning there!! read more

I thought they did a pretty good job considering the affordable price of $25 for shellac manicure that lasted about 2 weeks. My shellac for my toes lasted over 3 weeks and it was $25 too. My suggestions: They could clean the inside a little more. The upkeep could be better. For example, the manicure table wasn't presentable and they need to make sure the nail equipment such as the pedicure bowls are sterilized after each client. Regular maintenance is essential! If looking for an affordable shellac manicure this may be the place for you. read more
