When I arrived I was sat immediately. Being that this was midday on a Wednesday it wasn't full at all. I saw this location had lots of great reviews so I decided to come. After years of not getting my nails done, here I am. The tech asked if I had any inspo pics and I showed her exactly what I wanted. I asked her if she could do it and she said absolutely. While she got the idea...she did not execute! She was very nice and so was the other staff but my nails are not the way I thought they'd be. Even the shape on a couple of them are not good. While I don't expect perfection, I needed them to be better than they are. Also, why are they point up?! To be clear, during the process I kept saying "I'm not sure about that." "Is it supposed to look like that." And she kept telling me to wait for the finished product. I am so disappointed. I wish I could get them removed.

The entire staff was so incredibly gracious, respectful and attentive to my mother. They vibe was genuinely uplifting beginning to end. My mom is 86 and has limited mobility. She has been through the ringer medically these past couple years. It is a rare treat for her to be able to even go to a nail salon, much less get such a nice pampered treatment. She chose the pedi with the 35 min massage, so that's what we both did. It was zen experience with a great pedi to boot. I am so thankful how wonderfully nice these ladies were to my mom -checking to see several times how she was enjoying it. Which doesn't make a difference but this time after going, here it is two days later and I have pain and tingling in my feet and nail bed on my toes. The guy scrubbed very hard with the tools and the water got very cold and cloudy as he was doing the service, which seemed unusual, but I expect people to know how to do their job. I didn't really think about it until after.. that the water being dirty from the callous removal.. and hard scrubbing might've caused a problem. Now I may have my first ever infection in my life. On top of this they never have the same nail techs that I love and they always lie and say they are out of town or at another location, when really they no longer work there. I don't like changing nail techs to avoid beginner nail techs that damage my feet and cause infections. Smh. Lastly, this trip took 2.5 + hours! Normally 1 hour, a hour and a half but on a weekday midday no other clients it took ALL DAY. Not acceptable. Needless to say I'm on the hunt for another salon.

Their banner outside says 30% off all services, however, when I was asking for prices they were trying to give me only 20%. After I specifically told them about the sign they said okay. I paid for my mother and myself and they only discounted 27%, not the full 30%. It's only 3%, but it's about the principle. I just adjusted the tip that I left because I was not too happy. I kept noticing some minor details like my skin peeling on the side or nail polish on my skin so I had to ask my technician to fix it several times. I didn't want to seem stuck up so I basically stopped asking because I noticed she was eager to assist the 3 customers that was waiting. I was also disappointed with how the tech cut a bit into my meat. I felt a burning sensation but I thought it was nothing until I inspected it carefully after I left. It turns out she cut in too deep when cutting my cuticle... I also didn't like how some of the nail polish was on my cuticle... I don't know, we spend money hoping to get a good job well done and I didn't feel that way after. My family thought the service was alright too. Today I was pretty disappointed bc the 25$ coupon that I earned after earning 500 points (which equals to that amount of dollars spent I think) was expired by a few days. There was apparently no way for them to honor it. Most of the nail salons in the area have a loyalty rewards program and I've never heard of one expiring. How lame. Coupons expire in 1 month after earning it. The coupon they give you shows the specific date of expiry in fine print so make sure to pay attention. Also I again was never offered a drink although they asked everyone after me if they wanted one. I get that this was an oversight but not the first time this has happened. Lastly, their removal service for dipping can be seriously improved. Or it might be the particular tech who serviced me whom I actively avoid now as she seems rather careless w my past times w her. Literally my dip powder was removed so harshly that my nails were extremely weak and brittle afterwards to the point where my nail beds were tearing and bleeding after doing the simplest of things. I've never experienced anything quite like it. The above are mainly small quibbles (other than the dip removal) but contribute to the overall experience. This is still a good bet for nails if you're looking for something quick and convenient and you can find the who usually do a good job. I personally like Vicky and Jenny. However if you're looking for something top notch in terms of service and quality I'd probably keep looking.
