This time, however, made me view the salon and management differently. I showed the nail technician a photo of red chrome nails with the middle two nails having red French tips, which would be my Valentine's Day nails. She told me she could do it. I even left the photo up on my phone for some time so that she can reference it, if needed. As I saw her painting the red French tips, I informed her that they were a different shade of red from the other nails. She showed me the two products (gel and powder) and that they are the same shade number. I proceeded to let her finish as I thought that the end results may be different. It was not. She then added the "chrome" finish. I told her that it wasn't shiny at all nor looked like chrome and had a pearlescent finish instead. She told me that it was very popular with clients. She absolutely disregarded what I was saying to her. She also cut my skin while running the drill alongside my cuticles. At this point, the manager entered the conversation. I showed him the picture and he told me that the photos found online for inspiration "all have filters on them." He pretty much sided with the technician and saw no wrong. They both then told me to go wash my hands and see how the nails look in the sun. I did so and saw no difference from when I was seated at my chair. I was baffled that the manager could not see what was wrong. He did not offer to rectify the situation. I even asked for another type of coat that would make my nails shiny. They could not offer that to me for whatever reason. I clearly walked out with hideous nails. Even if I find someone who can replicate a photo here, the management alone would be reason not to go here. I paid for my service here out of respect for their time, but will not be returning and I urge others to do the same. Please see the photos I have provided.

Today I was pretty disappointed bc the 25$ coupon that I earned after earning 500 points (which equals to that amount of dollars spent I think) was expired by a few days. There was apparently no way for them to honor it. Most of the nail salons in the area have a loyalty rewards program and I've never heard of one expiring. How lame. Coupons expire in 1 month after earning it. The coupon they give you shows the specific date of expiry in fine print so make sure to pay attention. Also I again was never offered a drink although they asked everyone after me if they wanted one. I get that this was an oversight but not the first time this has happened. Lastly, their removal service for dipping can be seriously improved. Or it might be the particular tech who serviced me whom I actively avoid now as she seems rather careless w my past times w her. Literally my dip powder was removed so harshly that my nails were extremely weak and brittle afterwards to the point where my nail beds were tearing and bleeding after doing the simplest of things. I've never experienced anything quite like it. The above are mainly small quibbles (other than the dip removal) but contribute to the overall experience. This is still a good bet for nails if you're looking for something quick and convenient and you can find the who usually do a good job. I personally like Vicky and Jenny. However if you're looking for something top notch in terms of service and quality I'd probably keep looking.

Located between a popular Tex-Mex restaurant, UPS and a dog groomer all of which I regularly frequent I'm surprised it took me this long to notice this place. I typically wait a few services before reviewing a nail salon but my experience last Sat was so good I wanted to share to give this business the boost it deserves. The salon is stunning and on a Sat afternoon I was able to walk in and get a mani/ pedi right away. They have a great drink menu/bar with a limit of 2 drinks and their Viet iced coffee was delicious! Massage length for services was generous and overall the quality of the mani/pedi was excellent for a reasonable price relative to other similar salons.
