So I've been a pretty loyal customer for a year however lately there have been several sour notes. Felt my previous review needed an update. Today I was pretty disappointed bc the 25$ coupon that I earned after earning 500 points (which equals to that amount of dollars spent I think) was expired by a few days. There was apparently no way for them to honor it. Most of the nail salons in the area have a loyalty rewards program and I've never heard of one expiring. How lame. Coupons expire in 1 month after earning it. The coupon they give you shows the specific date of expiry in fine print so make sure to pay attention. Also I again was never offered a drink although they asked everyone after me if they wanted one. I get that this was an oversight but not the first time this has happened. Lastly, their removal service for dipping can be seriously improved. Or it might be the particular tech who serviced me whom I actively avoid now as she seems rather careless w my past times w her. Literally my dip powder was removed so harshly that my nails were extremely weak and brittle afterwards to the point where my nail beds were tearing and bleeding after doing the simplest of things. I've never experienced anything quite like it. The above are mainly small quibbles (other than the dip removal) but contribute to the overall experience. This is still a good bet for nails if you're looking for something quick and convenient and you can find the who usually do a good job. I personally like Vicky and Jenny. However if you're looking for something top notch in terms of service and quality I'd probably keep looking. read more

I was excited to try this place out after reading reviews... however after my first visit here and not a fan. Pedicure was alright - opted for the deluxe but felt like a basic pedicure. I got a gel manicure which started lifting in two days.. not even a week out and I already have chipped gel on almost all fingers. Gel nails were lifting around the cuticle causing it to catch into my hair while washing.. had to peel away what was lifted to be able to wash my hair without it getting caught on the lifting. Picture taken 5/4 (only a week after the manicure) The prices here are cheaper than other salons in the area but expect the quality to reflect the price. Overall the shop seemed clean and the workers were friendly and ensuring any customers walking in were attended to promptly. read more

Seriously a hidden gem! This was my first time to Lavender Nails so I didn't know what to expect! Such friendly staff and very welcoming. Offered a drink and the typical overpowering nail salon smell wasn't there. They had a TON of colors to choose from. I got a matte shellac fill and matte shellac pedicure. My nail tech Mindy was SUPER personable and helped tremendously. I love when I ask questions about colors or nail ideas and techs actually offer ideas and knowledge. I would definitely recommend this place! They are clean and offer a variety of drinks during manicures or pedicures. I got the dipping powder on my nails and opted for the signature pedicure. My husband got the charcoal pedicure. I've always somehow experienced people who are super rough on my cuticles and even have made me bled. The lady who did my pedicure was super gentle with my feet and it didn't hurt at all. I love how my manicure and pedicure turned out! Small complaints - lady took out her phone to answer a call (didn't mind that part) but continued on my feet after touching her phone with her gloved hands. Also, massage chairs are not super comfortable and the ladies didn't have everything they needed before doing mani/pedi (kept having to go and get something). I didn't ask for it but it was a communication issue I suppose, but thought I'd give it a try. I noticed after I left the gel wasn't applied to my whole nail and so the edges were dull. First and last time ever coming here. Unfortunately my nail salon is closed today, so I decided to give this place a try. Going to be very thorough in my review, as I can tell Tracy is very defensive and cannot professionally handle negative reviews. I walked in and it wasn't very busy so I was immediately taken care of. I would like to say this, my nail technician was wonderful and I had no issues with her. As my nail tech was finishing up, other clients walked in. Tracy took over my nails, and sent my nail technician to work on another client. I had absolutely no issues with this, which im sure cameras can prove. As Tracy was working on my nails, I received 5 family emergency calls. To which I did not answer, which cameras can also prove. I asked for a heart design and Tracy said she could do it. But instead of starting the design, she got up and started working on another client. You dont leave a client mid service to start working on another one, hire more staff. Even though, that was very unprofessional, I DID NOT HAVE ISSUES WITH THIS EITHER. While i waited, I returned my phone calls and had to leave. My nails were completely finished, i was just missing the design, no big deal. I figured I could leave and come back another day. I asked tracy to please check me out. As she approached me at the counter she was very rude and unprofessional. She said "Don't get a design if you are in a hurry, they take time" Keep in mind, the design never started because she went to work on another client. I was there before this client. Cameras can prove this. There's a difference between getting a design done and her getting up to work on another client while i waited on another "nail tech", to work on said design that never came. Cameras can also prove that. She continued giving me attitude for absolutely no reason, although I was very nice. I even assured her that me leaving was due to family and not the nail salon. She asked me if i was a new client, i said yes, she proceeded to take my information. She then gave me an attitude again and raised her voice because she couldn't understand my phone number. Extremely defensive and unprofessional. I have been in the customer service industry for years, and I would never talk to my clients the way she does. Im not sure if tracy was having a bad day, or if she thinks everyone is out to attack her. The nail application done by tracy was also not good, please view photo. Ok my friend and I walk I to Lavender Nails as a walk in, the man at the front desk ask if we have an appointment. We says and he walks over to talk to a CO worker, after his conversation he tells us they are fully booked. However there is one person in the entire shop. One lady is sweeping the floor and one working with a client. I will never go there again, they just lost money. This one star was given because the shop appeared to be clean. read more

The had a huge collection of colors for other types of nail colors (shellac, gel, polish, etc.). The ladies are very thorough. My sister is a diabetic who has to be extremely careful, (she's been battling a wound one dumb@ss guy at a local nail salon gave her.....including ongoing visits to a wound care facility.
