While she got the idea...she did not execute! She was very nice and so was the other staff but my nails are not the way I thought they'd be. Even the shape on a couple of them are not good. While I don't expect perfection, I needed them to be better than they are. Also, why are they point up?! To be clear, during the process I kept saying "I'm not sure about that." "Is it supposed to look like that." And she kept telling me to wait for the finished product. I am so disappointed. I wish I could get them removed.

From the moment I sat down, my technician, Casey, was short and rude. For hygiene reasons I bring my own nail tools, and when I handed them over, she tossed them aside and said, "Oh, we're not going to need those." Then the surprise charges started. Nothing was disclosed at the start of the service, but partway through I was told that filing and shaping my nails would cost extra, and then that cuticle cleanup would also cost extra. I calmly said I was confused, since I've been coming here for years and had never heard of these charges, and none were mentioned when we started. Casey became combative and told me it isn't her job to tell customers about extra charges up front and that I should have asked. How is anyone supposed to ask about charges they don't know exist? The manager then came over and immediately took Casey's side without hearing me out. She accused me of trying to take advantage of them and fish for a discount. In all my years here I have never asked for a discount, and I have always tipped well. She then told me I should just leave. By that point only my old gel polish had been removed, so I paid for that and walked out, shaken and humiliated. A salon that hides its prices, ignores hygiene concerns, and treats a longtime customer like a scammer for asking a simple question doesn't deserve your business. Save yourself the stress and go somewhere that respects its clients.

So I have been trying to come more to help out. She does a great Russian manicure and have been coming for about a year. She texted me back and told me that I am confirmed for 5:30pm and they would see me then for my Russian manicure and pedicure. I left the house around 4:30pm to get food and get there early to eat. I got food and was pulling into the parking lot. I got a text telling me they were busy and I needed to come tomorrow. I was already there and I was not available on Sunday. Having my appointment scrapped for walk ins was truly disappointed. We confirmed me coming in hours ago and my appointment was scrapped. Not okay. I have been coming for this long because the work is great. They are expensive and the prices fluctuate big time. Also I bought my own gel polish to use and they told me they have it so they could charge me an extra $15 for their polish. This just really let me down and can't keep doing business like this.
