Came as a walk in with my grandmother mid day on a Monday and were immediately attended to. From the moment we stepped in, it was very apparent how excellent their customer service was. They were very kind and gentle with my grandmother which meant so much to me. They offered beverages to us, explained the different services that were offered, and truly made the experience feel like a spa experience--something I feel that many nail salons are missing nowadays. They also used cleaned & sanitized equipment, which is an essential! My only gripe was that my grandmothers nails messed up after she went to the restroom, I think they weren't completely dry. She just got regular polish and although she waited for about 15+ minutes I think she would have benefited from using a fan to assist with the drying. To my surprise, I got gel on my toes and one of my toes also chipped a day later--which has never happened to me with getting gel elsewhere. Despite this, I feel like the customer service & experience was very exceptional and I will most definitely be coming back because of that! read more

I miss the original owner! I was unaware and never received notice that there was a change in management and happened to see a post about it recently on instagram. I needed a quick pedicure and decided to stop by to see if there were any changes in the business with the new management. I had a gift card that i received for my birthday last year that I still had some funds left. Since I never received notice of new management, although i've been coming here since 2010, I had no way of knowing that my gift card had been deactivated with the changes. Looks like i was completely removed from the system. It would've have been nice to receive some notice and some grace as a long time customer, but i was only offered a few dollars off which doesn't matter once you add a tip. But I'm glad i came today because I know now that I will not be returning, especially since my favorite nail techs left to go to other shops(thankfully i found most of them already). read more

One of my go-to places to get my nails done. I would recommend making an appointment because it does tend to get crowded. However, they also take walk-ins. They expanded a bit and did some remodeling so their space is a lot bigger. It's a cute nail salon. I don't have a specific person I go to. It's always someone different but every lady always does a good job. I always go for a shellac manicure. They have an abundant of colors from all kinds of shades to different brands. They take their time with my nails, making sure that the paint job is done well. My nails usually last for a good while. It's a very relaxing environment even when it's busy. I like the cozy vibe of the place and the service is more attentive. I much preferred salons like this rather than the trendy nail salon where you're just paying for the ambience rather than the service. read more

I always enjoy my time at Trishy's. Trishy's and her team are very professional and she seems to know everyone's name. Make an appointment, but if you walk in, don't worry, all the techs are rockstars. Don't forget the free pedicure wax w/check in. They have a great selection of colors and are creative when it comes to designs and embellishments. We have come a long way from the airbrush art days. I'm here right now. Tehe :) read more

I have never felt so inclined to write a review for anyone or any business. But y'all.... When I tell you Trishy's is AMAZING.. I mean it with everything. Trishy is such a sweet woman and makes sure you are taken care of and satisfied with whatever service you are there for every single time you walk in. Angela and Hanah never seize to amaze me. Seriously. I'm very picky with how I want my nails and designs to look. Not only do these ladies take exactly what I and make it even better, they are SOOO patient with me and make me laugh in the process Been going here for over a year now and I see no reason for me to go anywhere else for a verrryyy long time!! I was looking for a last minute pedicure for my mom and myself when I happened upon this location. The spa is chic and most importantly really clean. We walked in an we are immediately greeted by a smiling face. I let her know we wanted pedicures and she squeezed is in. We got to sit down pretty quickly, offered drinks, and pedicure options. We went with the spa pedicure at $35 really wanted the longer foot massage. The pedicure was very good from start to finish for once I actually have no complaints! The customer service was unmatched and great compared to other spas I have visited. The quality of the work was very good. Most definitely will be returning! read more

Trishy is a very personable. She did my nails and did the shape perfectly and the design. She was very patient letting me choose my color and made suggestions. She is very careful with her shaping an application. This is an overlay on my natural nails. A gentleman did my pedicure and he did an amazing job. He also Was very careful painting my toes and they came out perfectly as I'm very picky about toe polish. The prices are also great my pedi was $15. Also drinks are served. My first visit and I must admit I was nervous. I'm very picky about my nails and like them to look a certain way. I walked in for my appointment (which started on time) and loved how Trish explained what would be best for my nail goals. I told her what I wanted and how I wanted them to look after. She made sure I was satisfied and involved me in every step of my full set. You don't get that kind of attention anymore at nail salons. Definitely will be a returning customer. I'm visiting Houston and never get my nails done anymore due to bad experiences in the past. Today, however, I threw caution to the wind and decided to look for a shop close to where I'm staying. I called and booked an appointment with Jay- the shop was able to get me in right away. I was greeted upon arrival, offered a drink and was seated. Jay was the best part of the visit. He took his time, made sure I was happy with my color and best of all- I didn't feel a thing. He was very gentle and did an excellent job. You will not be disappointed! They also have a reward card which never expires so that a plus. Will visit every time I'm in Houston. read more

I've been looking for a new nail shop & yelp brought me here due to the good reviews. It was my birthday weekend and wanted to pamper myself. I was wowed by the way they treated their clients. The owner I believe knew their names which is always a great gesture. All of the techs seemed attentive and focused on the clients they were working on. I was so use to going to a nail shop who was always on their phone when working on me and I find that highly unprofessional. But didn't see that here. So I appreciated them being attentive to my needs and made you feel comfortable. And they were busy! As a business owner I appreciate showing the same effort regardless of volume. I got a mani w/ shellac and pedi. I wanted to wait a bit before I left a review since I always get shellac nail polish and it usually chips within a week. They did such a great job I'm going on almost 3 weeks and polish is still looking great no chipping at all! I'm amazed and loved it! Service is A1. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. read more

Edit: Originally I gave this place 5 stars and then I got my chin waxed. My eyebrows and lip were perfect- no problem. But my chin??? This woman waxed the same spot three times. After she waxed it the second time I was like oh okay I'm going to have a mark there. Then she went at it a third time! So I told her that was going to really leave a mark! Now I most of my chin is raw, painful, and red. This place is so quiet and relaxing. It's also very clean and organized. You don't have to wait forever to be seen. Everyone is very professional. They don't rush through the work, and they don't hurt you! So many places are rough, but not here. read more

I got the spa pedicure. Before I came here I got my pedicures from Anthony Vince Nail Spa in City Centre. They are more expensive than Trishy's and you get a little less yet the experience there is better. At Trishy's, the salon stunk of chemicals which made me regret going there the second I walked in. I got french tips and the guy did a bad paint job. The workers socialize with each other the entire time, loudly. And my feet/leg were itchy the day after. None of these things is a problem at Anthony Vince so I'm probably going to go back there from now on. read more

I had the pleasure of going to Trishy's and getting a nail tech named Angela. Angela is the absolute best nail tech I have ever had! She is a true perfectionist and took her time creating the most beautiful nails I have ever had. There was no gunk, nothing to clean up, now powder out of place. I really wanted to give this place more than 3 stars, but I wasn't entirely happy with my service despite multiple attempts at redirecting my nail tech. I came here as a walk-in after I failed at trying to remove shellac at home. I asked to remove the remaining shellac on my nails and a basic mani. Super impressed with how luxurious their basic mani ($15) felt. I received a massage and a hot towel treatment, both included in the package. The nail tech took her time to groom and paint my nails. The entire process lasted an hour! No other nail salon has put the same care into this service as Trishy's Spatique did, and I truly appreciated the extra TLC. However, as much as I loved the luxuriousness of the service, I didn't actually like the quality of work. I asked for an oval shape and some of my nails were crooked/lopsided. I tried to ask the nail tech to even the shape out, but it either became worse or didn't make a difference. The paint job was thick and got all over my cuticles. When the nail tech was adding the top coat, it was stained pink and I didn't notice until after the fact. Management was super nice! I was offered a drink after settling in. They intermittently checked in with me through my service. They generously waived the charge for shellac removal. A+ service! They also have a rewards program. I think their strong suits are gel/shellac/acrylic manis and pedicures. I would come back to give this place another try if I was getting one of the services mentioned above. read more

Before I was even finished, she hung up on me without asking if I had any other questions. I called back thinking the call had dropped and explained that I was still talking when it ended. Their technicians (never the same) seem unsure& timid, and there is usually a lack of communication between the front desk and the technician that I have to clarify repeatedly, even though the only thing I ever get is a simple, classic mani no polish, buff and go; and maybe a basic gel pedicure. The prices also went up by at least $10 a service overnight, once the name switched. Previously, I had a $100 gift card from NOA that they would not honor. Why not? I understand ownership changed, but to not honor past gift cards for longer doesn't bode well for established clients. Another time, back in May , I was told the wait would be over 45 minutes for a mani, even though that area appeared completely empty. Ok - so I walked back out and across the street to Blush Salon and got a lovely manicure right away. I don't expect I'll be returning to Genova any time soon.

My nails were uneven, and I literally had to tell the guy doing my pedicure to fix issues that the manicure tech should have caught and corrected. Even after that, my nails STILL looked messy and uneven. They also didn't use any type of light while doing my nails, which honestly explains a lot because the final result looked rushed and poorly done. My hands were sore afterward, and I know I was cut on my toes because THEY HURT NOW. On top of the bad work, I felt extremely rushed. The staff kept complimenting me over and over, seemingly expecting that to influence me into leaving a bigger tip. News flash: I love myself just fine compliments aren't going to make me ignore poor service or pay extra for work that wasn't done properly. If anything, it made me uncomfortable. I paid $90 for this and expected quality work--not rushed, uneven nails and sore, cut-up toes. If you're going to charge that much, the service should actually reflect the price. PLEASE either shut this place down or hire staff who actually know what they're doing. This was my LAST time coming here. Save your money and BEWARE. Money hungry and quality nowhere to be found.

This was the same day- the shellac didn't dry properly- and as you can see, it's good but not Great.

I fear I may have been gaslit into thinking I had a great service, only to see the final result,…read moredisappointed. While the economy is turning to shit, the only thing at least giving me some type of self care is getting pedicures and MAYBE a manicure. However, Milano just disappointed me in ways I didn't think could. Especially for a chain salon. I'm simple. I don't need designs. So if you're going to offer $30 simple pedicures and $25 manicures, I pray and hope it's still decent enough for me to come back. Not enough people speak up when it comes to getting a service done, but I did. I had Tina doing my pedicure. What I thought was wonderful, actually turned out to be terrible. It's like the before and during process were just fine, except when it came to the final product, she literally left streaks on my toes. I understand it was a Classic Pedicure, but that still doesn't excuse a shoddy job. For a $30 pedicure, I could go back to my regular nail tech and there won't be any streaks. Yvonne did my manicure. And after she had told me she was done, I look at my hands and realized she also left streaks on my fingers. Not enough coating. Or too much coating. She had to do my finger 3 times. She had to wipe away, paint 3 times, give it 3 coats and still, for some reason, it still smudged. The coating was just too thick. She even had to tell me that she had to do it 3 times. If it was done right the first time, she wouldn't have to tell me she had to do it more than once. Like hello? She was also on her phone talking. Multitasking. Look, I get it, but damn. Unprofessional. AirPods while talking the phone, and painting my nails. She even sprayed my toes and hands for a faster drying process and it still ends up smudged. I'm disappointed that even for $30 pedicure and a $25 manicure, I would at least get a decent service. Not a, "you get what you pay for" service. I should've know better. My fingers still smell like polish. The vigorous handwashing is coming. Pictures speak for themselves, even after speaking up. UPDATE: 4/20/2026 I called back, as they response asked politely to directly call back. While the person in charge for the day, answered. She stated that any classic service does not have any warranty. So she offered 15% a future service. I politely decline because, 15% is nothing compared to the end result I paid for. And second, it's good to know that my claim of "you get what you pay for" still stands. As you can't even get a "warranty" to fix your nails even though the tech did a bad job. There's no point is trying to have self care, even at the lowest price point, because you literally will get what you pay for. $30 for classic with bare minimum results.

My nail tech was nice at first but throughout the service, I could just tell the job was going to be bad. After my feet had been soaking, he noticed leftover polish and instead of using polish remover, he used the buffer so hard on my big toe, that it broke my skin the second toe and it bled. I've been getting my nails done here for sometime, and this place never fails to impress! The ambiance is beautiful and calming, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing experience. One standout feature is that they have a full-time receptionist, which is rare for a nail salon but makes everything run seamlessly. Pam, the receptionist, greets every customer with a warm smile and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience. My nail tech, Bryan, is phenomenal! Not only is he a master at his craft, but his customer service is top-notch--he always checks in to make sure you're completely satisfied with your nails. The owner, Trish, is also an exceptional nail tech and always welcomes you with a friendly smile. Overall, it's an amazing experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!
