Two ladies who did my nails were great and my nails feels really clean. The massage for my legs can be stronger but I think she saw my disability so she probability did not use all of her strength. I fear I may have been gaslit into thinking I had a great service, only to see the final result, disappointed. While the economy is turning to shit, the only thing at least giving me some type of self care is getting pedicures and MAYBE a manicure. However, Milano just disappointed me in ways I didn't think could. Especially for a chain salon. I'm simple. I don't need designs. So if you're going to offer $30 simple pedicures and $25 manicures, I pray and hope it's still decent enough for me to come back. Not enough people speak up when it comes to getting a service done, but I did. I had Tina doing my pedicure. What I thought was wonderful, actually turned out to be terrible. It's like the before and during process were just fine, except when it came to the final product, she literally left streaks on my toes. I understand it was a Classic Pedicure, but that still doesn't excuse a shoddy job. For a $30 pedicure, I could go back to my regular nail tech and there won't be any streaks. Yvonne did my manicure. And after she had told me she was done, I look at my hands and realized she also left streaks on my fingers. Not enough coating. Or too much coating. She had to do my finger 3 times. She had to wipe away, paint 3 times, give it 3 coats and still, for some reason, it still smudged. The coating was just too thick. She even had to tell me that she had to do it 3 times. If it was done right the first time, she wouldn't have to tell me she had to do it more than once. Like hello? She was also on her phone talking. Multitasking. Look, I get it, but damn. Unprofessional. AirPods while talking the phone, and painting my nails. She even sprayed my toes and hands for a faster drying process and it still ends up smudged. I'm disappointed that even for $30 pedicure and a $25 manicure, I would at least get a decent service. Not a, "you get what you pay for" service. I should've know better. My fingers still smell like polish. The vigorous handwashing is coming. Pictures speak for themselves, even after speaking up. UPDATE: 4/20/2026 I called back, as they response asked politely to directly call back. While the person in charge for the day, answered. She stated that any classic service does not have any warranty. So she offered 15% a future service. I politely decline because, 15% is nothing compared to the end result I paid for. And second, it's good to know that my claim of "you get what you pay for" still stands. As you can't even get a "warranty" to fix your nails even though the tech did a bad job. There's no point is trying to have self care, even at the lowest price point, because you literally will get what you pay for. $30 for classic with bare minimum results. read more

I'm a wee bit gobsmacked that I haven't written a review on this nail spa! I have been here before for just a basic manicure and pedicure and enjoyed very much. I decided to come back here as a treat to myself for working very hard lately. Also, I was doing a Houston staycation and I was trying to stay up from working the night before. When I first walked in there were not that many patrons so they allowed me a good amount of time to get content for my channel which I appreciated and did not abuse that privilege. My nail techs were Vicky and Tina. Tina did my nails and Vicky worked on my feet and also waxed my eye brows. My manicure came with a nice and relaxing, lemon grass treatment to include putting on the cream dipping my hand in hot wax and then wrapping both arms with a hot towel while she massaged my neck. Once the towel were lukewarm, she took everything off and gave both arms and hands a wonderful massage. It was so nice! My pedicure consisted of putting different oils and cream on my legs as well as some kind of warm collagen treatment on my feet. My feet underwent the same treatment as my arms as they were rubbed in lemongrass cream, wrapped in soothing hot towels and I was given a 25 minute massage which was so relaxing with the right amount of pressure. I like my eyebrows to be a bit full and she made them a tad bit too thin but I still enjoyed my services overall. I got shellac on my hands and toes. I shall be back. read more

Went in for a refill with a two nails fix. My original set was 2 colors with a two nails design, how is a refill with one single color the same price?? On top of that the nail lengths aren't the same. The thumb is super short and the middle finger is significantly longer. Will not be returning unfortunately. read more

I appreciated the 30% grand opening discount for sure and the price without for the pedi and mani weren't too bad either. Might have found my new place not too far from me and with more than enough accommodation. Pros: Very nicely decorated spacious swanky nail salon off of Eldridge Pkwy and briar Forest Rd. I made a same day appointment (Saturday morning) and was lucky enough to secure a spot. The staff was kind welcoming and professional. They have a guarantee that your nail color will not chip within a certain amount of time, true to form the coating held up. The atmosphere is lively the clients all seem happy. Cons: My technician was kind (I forget her name), she lured me away from my classic French manicure and convinced me to try a pastel color instead of the white tip. It was pretty enough. Only thing I didn't like was the finishing product UNDER my nails. Wasn't very well filed and cleaned up. So I had chunky like glue and acrylic balls under some nails. Tedious having to file them off and clean up when I got home. As a 1st time client I was offered 15% off all services. The cashier forgot to apply it. That was a bit off putting. It's ok tho. So I went to this nail salon and showed this picture; short acrylic nails. I said I wanted this length and shape but white. During cutting step, I said I wanted the short length and she said "I need to cut longer and then it will file down". I said okay I trust you. Nails finish and they're super long. She also charged me $10 for length and $5 for shape even though I asked for short nails. I come back two days later, ask if I can get them shortened. The nail tech quickly and crookedly cuts my brand new set. I was charged additional $15. I spent $65 the first time (excluding tip). And then $15 the second time (excluding tip). So. I spent $80 on this crooked set for Christmas. Don't come here. I've been here for toes and it was good but that's it. read more

Not only do they not remove your dead skin but they make you bleed! Because I chose the most affordable package deal, I was told dead skin removal was not included. I had a very disappointing experience at Milanos. I have gone many times and never questioned the prices. I started noticing each time i would go it would be more expensive than the previous time for the same exact service. I started asking for a receipt and when I questioned the charges, I didn't get a clear explanation. The salon itself seemed nice and the nail techs do an excellent job, but the overcharging and lack of transparency from the front left a bad impression. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for fair pricing and quality service. There are definitely better options out there! read more

I went to this location for a third time and I don't recommend. I was hoping to have the same amazing experience that I had at one of their more eatablished locations , but it's not the same. I asked the tech why she didn't use the clear tips because the coffin shape comes out better but she did it her way so I'll get them redone somewhere else tomorrow because she actually doesn't have the shaping skills that she claimed. I'm not even sure what to call the shape of a couple of my nails - they're not uniform- yes I had a picture. Please normalize saying " I don't know how to do that". I asked for dip and she polished with gel over clear dip powder which I'll never understand. Yes, she said she'd take it off but who has time for that? The first step in working with customers is to listen and ask questions if you don't understand the expectation. The last thing that you should do is get an attitude. I was so annoyed that I have to get my nails done somewhere else tomorrow that I skipped getting my toes polished at the end of my pedicure. What a waste of time and money. This place is a scam. My girlfriend came in for a GelX set. She just wanted a French tip. The menu they give you says it would be $50 for the GelX and then an extra $5 for a French tip. So we presumed it would be $55 total. The lady then tells us it's going to be $95!!!???? We asked how. She also kept going back and forth on the price until her boss I presume came over and corrected her. They spoke in private and suddenly she was in agreement with him. Apparently, they said it is $20 to just do a COLOR BASE for GelX and an ADDITIONAL $25 for a design. The fee for GelX ($50) is if they just put the clear on with NO COLOR. Then we said can you lower the price for the design since it's LITERALLY A LINE FOR FRENCH TIP. They obviously said no. They came out like crap. The lady didn't know what she was doing and made my girlfriend's nails look super thick and burnt on the edges of her nail bed. Don't come here they're scammers. The only good thing is the bottomless drinks while they milk your wallet dry. read more

I went there yesterday because I just moved to the area and I noticed that they had just opened. When I walked in everyone was super nice and attentive. I walked in and wanted coffin shellac full set nails put on even though I usually get almond. They looked great, but I called today because I personally didn't think that shape compliment my hands since they are a bit chunkier and I struggle with eczema and always have so I'm very sensitive about my hands and how they look. I gave them a call this morning explaining that and reassuring them that it's obviously not their fault and I wanted to know their policy about coming and getting them done since I get paid this coming Friday so if need be I can wait. They told me to go ahead and come in free of charge and they would fix them for me. I expected to just get a file done but she took off the polish and drilled them done and reapplied the polish and everything. I am so so so pleased with my nails and how they look now and very grateful to have found a nail place I love so early to moving to this area. The place is very beautiful and clean.
