They greet me by name, we schedule appointments in advance, and about 90% of the time we walk in and are seated immediately. We're never rushed and are always treated like we're the only customers in the salon. The space is consistently clean and well-maintained, the employees are friendly and professional, and--most importantly--they actually listen to what you want, not just what they feel like doing. They almost always have coupons available, which is a great bonus, and the gel polish lasts forever--seriously impressive. Reliable, welcoming, and truly pampering. They are short staffed and even with a CONFIRMED appointment they turned us away and asked us to return at a later time. The excuse - " you made a same day appointment and we didn't have time to confirm if we had enough help".... the problem is I made the appointment on YOUR website, at a time your website allowed the appointment to be made. Additionally, you sent me a text message CONFIRMING my appointments. I checked in as requested and after waiting for 10 mins ... I was advised I can't be serviced until later in the day. Gas is over $4 a gallon. I drove from Riverside to this CONFIRMED appointment, to be turned away. UNACCEPTABLE!!!

I chose the organic pedicure which is quite expensive but so worth it. There's several tiers and I might try the one down from the organic next but if you want to really get pampered this is the way to go. We called for an impromptu appointment right after the salon opened on Sunday morning and the salon happily booked an appointment for 2 pedicures. The salon itself is tucked away in the corner of a quiet plaza in St. Johns-- you'd miss it if you didn't know it was there. Now that you DO, stop in for some pampering. We were really impressed with the distancing and safety precautions here; a deciding factor in choosing Sunny Salon! (Thanks to other reviewers sharing photos of the awesome plexiglass dividers!) I've been going to Lavish Nails for a few years now and I have to say that it is truly the best…read morenail salon around...here is why; 1) Color selection-wow! Such a variety and the owners constantly update with the latest color collections from OPI. 2) Each technician is really good, attentive, on time and pay attention to detail. On the rare occasion I've needed a correction, they respond quickly and happily. 3) CLEAN!!! They sanitize appropriately between clients use bowl liners and offer wine! 4) They do it all! Gel, Dip powder, full sets and designs. Each manicure comes with a paraffin wax treatment which who doesn't need with all the hand sanitizing these days! My daughters have had various designs on their nails and they have some amazing nail artists! 5) Prices are competitive and they are open 7 days/week.
