If I could give zero stars I would. This place used to be my go to spot for Chinese food but apparently there are new owners and the food is absolute garbage. Rice and lo mein were both overcooked and mush. Fried dumplings were not fried at all and had no flavor. Beef teriyaki sticks were grade F meat and had no sauce on them. I've always been impressed with the fact that every facility around us in Naugatuck has an "A" rating for their health code. This place, while on the outside looks like a little hole in the wall, is a true gem. It's simple Chinese take-out, but dang is it good! Their chicken and broccoli is some of the best I've ever had and they're pretty good at getting your order right - even when you ask for something a little picky (my husband hates onions in his fried rice). My husband recently tried the General Tso's (apparently super spicy (hilarious to watch him eat it though!)) and Sesame Chicken because although his favorite is boneless spare ribs, he would like a little more juice in New Moon's recipe - but he loved both of the new dishes he tried. We got delivery from this establishment this last time, and the service was quick and great! I ordered online from work so that when I got home we could just eat and relax. The skins on the crab Rangoon's are nice and light which melts into the cream cheese scallion mixture inside. Very good. To date we've now had several meals here including G Tso and coconut chicken. I stopped by for lunch on Saturday this week and ordered what I thought was a simple dish orange chicken with fried rice and an eggroll and what was handed to me after 10 minutes looked, tasted and felt like I got someone else's lunch left over from two days ago. Tried delivery from New Moon. Ordered chicken chow mein and pork lo mein, and we have to say, there was no flavor associated with the food whatsoever. The chow mein lacked cabbage, and contained cheap lettuce as the only vegetable. I couldn't even taste the lo mein, but it least it had texture. The delivery component was the best part of our experience. Edible if you want delivery in Naugatuck, but don't make the same mistake I did: get off the couch and go elsewhere.
