I dont know what has happened to this place!!!! At first I thought they had gone out of business because the last time I drove down Rubber ave it looked empty in there. I had to call to see if they were still there. So I came on here to check the reviews, which werent good at all...but I was like, how can a place go so downhill so fast?! Well I should have listened! I was absolutely heartbroken by what was deliver to our house for dinner tonight ! We use to love their food. Spent 90 bucks for food that I wouldnt give animals to eat! We ordered chicken wings...use to be nice whole wings that you could tell came from a Chinese Restaurant...now 8 little overcooked half wing! The pupu platter....utterly awful! The chicken nuggets were salty, overcooked and so tiny,...the scallops..prefrozen little round things...when you bit into them...so sticky and nasty. The beef on a stick was laughable!! A little ol piece of beef that was towards the bottom of the stick...spring rolls...so over cooked they were greasy and like mush in the middle... the flavor of the eggrolls terrible.. and I love eggrolls! Im really sad over this...now I dont know where to even get decent Chinese Food around here anymore. I tried what is it, BlueMoon? At first they seemed good...but the last few times...ugh...My son said that he'll have to find a Chinese girl that can cook for us....I think he might be right! read more

The food is awful. Rice is dry. Onions are big and no taste. No noodles in chicken chow mein. Egg rolls are greasy . They don't deserve a 1 star rating. read more

Ordered a simple beef broccoli with egg rolls on the side. The beef was light gray, tasted funny, and was super hard to chew. Rice and broccoli was ok. Coconut shrimp are tiny, over breaded And over cooked. Shrimp lowmein has practically no shrimp and are very tiny as well. The quality of the food does not compare to other chinease restaurants in the area. Spent over 60 dollars on dinner and we were very disappointed. Threw it away. Order somewhere else. read more

I come here because it's closer to home. The recently renovated some of their pos system and behind the counter look. Unfortunately their service did not go with it, nor do common practices. The lunch menu posted on the huge screen states 11am to 330 yet their paper menu states 3. It's not my fault if you have a typo. You should be able to honor the times posted. I cane in at 310 and was denied lunch special price having to pay $2 more for the same amount and quality of food. read more

I ordered food for my mom. It arrived and was old and made her sick. It smelled so bad that she had to take it outside and put it in the dumpster. They expected me to have her go into the dumpster to return the food. What kind of customer service is this? We will never order from here again!! A waste of money and time. read more

I would give half a star if this app would let me. Food took over an hour to arrive. And it was just plain terrible. Poorly cooked and a rip off portion wise. A 1/4 of the portion for the same amount of money. It was terrible. I had to throw it in the trash where it belongs. Ordered Shrimp Lo Main the other day and it took them literraly 4 to 5 mins. Not enough salt, and u can tell it was either rushed or old. Shimps had a little smell. On top of that, it was $8 for the shrimp Lo Mein. It definitely wasn't worth it. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I will never order from here again. They made my order incorrect, when I called to have it corrected I got yelled at. The menu clearly states having your rice put on the side is an additional dollar charge in which I agreed to pay for. They told me to give me my rice on the side it would be a 2.50 charge when they are the ones who messed up my order completely. Then I got hung up on after I got screamed at. I have spent over $100 in the past week here and they lost very good business from me for their poor customer service. Decent food, horrible customer service. read more

Great food. I used to think the only good Chinese foood around was Great China down the street, but when I decided to try China Town Kitchen I was pleasantly surprised. Just your basic Chinese take-out place. Don't eat in unless you like sitting next to a case of fortune cookies under the fluorescent lights at the two tiny tables. Food is good, if extremely standard. But they pick up the phone, never mess up my take-out orders, and reliably have things ready for pick up in 10 minutes, and that's all I ask for. read more

We just moved to the area and wanted something we could get delivered that wasn't pizza. So, our next choice was Chinese. Most places in the area don't deliver, but this one did so we chose to eat here despite the pretty bad reviews. Most of the comments said this food was just average but I found it to be far, far below average bordering on disgusting. The crab Rangoon was oddly doughy and tough and the cream cheese was watery. We thought we got two orders of the same meal because they were identical sauces and flavor but they insisted one was general tso and one was orange chicken. We did find an orange peel in one so we assumed that was meant to be the orange... The rice was soggy and the sauce has no flavor. It tasted like just they mixed honey and water with no spices. The chicken was at least cooked properly so there's the one star. But it was completely unsatisfying. I knew that it wasn't going to be spectacular (based on the reviews) but I've had Chinese food from a lot of different places with varying ratings and even the worse of the worst tasted better than this. We just got takeout from this place for the first time. I got the garlic chicken combo. The garlic chicken was in a red sauce that was flavorless. It is supposed to be at least a bit spicy. The container was 2/3 rice. The egg roll was chewy and so were the crab rangoons, like they were microwaved. There was not a bit of crab in the crab rangoons either. My boyfriend got the sweet and sour pork combo. The dough was gooey and it was very tasteless. He only had a couple pieces in a container of rice. He said it was the wost he ever had and he has eaten all around the country. We will mot be going back. read more

Ive lived around in many towns/counties in CT And tried hundreds of places, however just moved to Naugatuck and could not believe how bad this was! I was hoping for at least average but omg!!! I have been a customer for several years. I called inan order for pickup . When I got home, the order was incorrect. I called to notify them and was told I could go back to swap but the meal I ordered was an additional $2. When I expressed my displeasure at having to go out a second time In subzero temperatures to pay an additional $2 for their mistake, I was dismissed. Since the food quality is inconsistent and the customer service is horrible, I would suggest you stay away. read more
