What a pleasure to work with Deo! He was very friendly, made us laugh and did a beautiful job! He really went above and beyond and the quality of the work done was excellent. It's been 6 months since he poured the concrete steps, path, pads and driveway in my backyard and it has yet to crack! We contacted New Look Landscape to remove the front lawn, terrace the front with bricks, pour a new driveway, redo our broken sprinkler system, to fix our pavers that had been dislodged by tree roots, and to build a new gate. We wanted the front to be terraced. Deo suggested that the yard was too small to terrace with two walls. His design was perfect! His cement work is the best we've ever seen, so we decided to cement the whole driveway, the walkway to our front door, and our side yard. Good thing we did, Deo found that the cement we did over 15 years ago covered up broken drainage pipes. Our clean gutters would overflow in a heavy rain. The conduit for the sprinkler electrical wires had also been broken, and cement was poured over bare wires. Deo really prides himself on doing a great job, and his crew follows his example. It was a pleasure to watch them work. They were always on time, efficient, personable and always cleaned up before they left for the day. Our pavers were lifted up, roots removed, laid back down, and they built us a fire pit. We asked Deo to re-sand and seal the pavers. The sand that was used on the original job was not optimal and had washed away. Deo used the right type of sand, and finally after 8 years, our pavers look fantastic! We've always had problems selecting plants that are suited to our yard. Deo loves plants and gave us a list of plants that he likes and is suited to our yard. We liked them all and are happy that we let him choose the new plants (front and back). And the gate is beautiful. We finally have the yard we always wanted, and it was a pleasure working with Deo and his crew. read more

I requested for an estimate but he wants to see the project so I told him after 5 pm any day of the week should be fine. He sent a message that he is available Wednesday 4:30s pm, so I message him back "ok" so I though our time already set at 4:30 pm. Since I am not going to be home by 4:30 pm so I asked my husband to be home at 4:30 pm to wait for this guy looking on the project. Guess what no one showed up at 4:30pm. While in stop light, I saw a message from him asking for time and with ???? so I quickly replied back that someone waiting for him at home right now. Then he replied back that "Too late!!! I waited in Vallejo since 3:46 pm so I can be in time Good luck with your project!!!". Maybe my mistake that I did not see his message right away just because I was driving. But as a business owner they should be the one reaching out with the customer, if no response on text they should of try to call so at least I could of answer him thru bluetooth instead of sending another message of "????". I understand that they are not interested on our project that's why they sent a message of "Good luck with your project!!!" instead of resolving our mis-communication or try to re-schedule. No need to "l o o k" further - Deo, of New Look Landscape has it all!!! He did an incredible over the top job with my landscape makeover. It was easy to choose Deo as he was personable, experienced, not to mention passionate about his work. He also came highly recommended from Mid-City Nursery. The job started out with installing a new retaining wall, paver pathways, and iron gates. The heavy-duty gates are amazing and artistic to match our wine country. I had somewhat of a plan in mind but it became obvious that Deo has the vision of an expert. Time and time again I trusted his judgment which turned out to be the better way. His workers work hard and fast but very skilled and thorough. I decided to extend the makeover to include the whole front yard. We continued the pavers around to front making a patio next to the house complete with the dolphin fountain front and center. With an underwater spotlight the dolphins reflections are now "dancing" on the front wall of my house and looks incredible! We shortened the lawn to a perfect size and installed rock and drought resistant plants and trees towards the sidewalk. The previous lawn was patchy and sprinklers were a joke so Deo decided to bulldoze it and bring in new sod (on his own). I was beyond shocked! He has a tradition of always doing something over and above the expected. The "extras" included installing a new access door to underneath the house AND and building a new shed from a kit. Wow! Over the years I had collected many large rocks which Deo incorporated in perfect groupings in front and back. He convinced me to take a big load of "stuff" to the dump which notched up everything and transformed my yard from tacky to classy! The finale was the lighting. Deo installed a transformer for the "tons" of low voltage led accent lights I insisted on along with up lights on the trees. My pond with backlit waterfalls is now gorgeous complete with underwater lights! I feel I now can charge admission to my "gardens"! My friends tell me that my yard now looks as good as any resort!!! All I can say is wow, and worth every penny! Deo completed our new back yard on time and on budget. His team removed an aging deck, jacuzzi, patio and fence, and installed a new wall with iron fence, grass and concrete, giving us the yard we always wanted. The kids can now play without splinters or falling off the deck, we no longer have a lake in the back when it rains, and we finally have some beautiful landscaping. Deo walked us through the whole process and had absolutely no secrets or surprises. There were a few things that came up, but Deo cleared everything with us first and provided clear and concise cost estimates to get around the minor problems. There is nothing bad to say about this company or the owner, Deo. From the start, Deo showed up on time for the quote and was extremely fair. I originally called him to just pour concrete in my backyard and ended up liking his ideas and how great/ trustworthy of a guy he is, I had him do the entire landscape around my house: front, back and side yard. He had great landscape ideas, was not pushy and always had my best interest in mind. Deo and his crew brought to life what I imagined my yard to look like. Deo is AMAZING! I'm really bad about giving reviews but I am so happy how our front and backyard turned out. Our yard was a mess and Deo and his team took our ugly yard and made it into a space where we can finally enjoy the outdoor space as a family. It was a pleasure working with Deo since he was always honest and gave great ideas that we incorporated into the design with no regrets. We completely removed everything in the front yard and added many plants and rocks and a new driveway. We didn't have a walkway to the front door before and now there is a nice path that matches the driveway. We did our side yard with plants and a new walkway that leads to our backyard. We were going to install real grass but we didn't want the maintenance of moving a lawn and dealing with weeds so we now have artificial grass that doesn't look like a green mat. Deo also added a path in front of our shed so we don't have to walk on the lawn. On the other side of the house, we had 4 galvanized planters with irrigation installed so we can begin growing our own veggies. The work didn't stop here! Deo installed lights for our plants everywhere so our neighbors are complimenting us on our yard. And his team redid one side of our fence with an awesome looking gate. Deo and his team was so kind to fix some of our slate originally installed over 10 yrs ago, which had some holes and chipping edges that were dangerous. I cannot say enough about Deo. Our previous one was made of wood and falling apart. After calling numerous people that would either not show up, not call us back or give us ridiculous prices, Deo came through.
