I really wanted to have a good experience with Universally Modified…read more I appreciate They are a family run and worked business of brothers and Ryan's wife. But they will not properly torque fasteners. There had been a metallic rattling since the first time I had them install the front sway bar. I drove it that way for six months or so. They always said the reason for the metallic rattling was because of the BMR components I had them install not having the rubber bushings. Then when me and another guy put my 2022 Mach 1 up on a lift and started looking it over and working on it we were disappointed to find Universally Modified destroyed my front sway bar end links due to not torquing down fasteners and using zero thread locker! I asked them multiple times to use the proper thread locker on all the fasteners. So after fixing the sway bar properly, the car is silent now! Um multiple times have not torque down or at least used a thread locker to keep fasteners from totally backing off. Universally Modified also did not tell me about an exhaust leak we found. I have put a lot of thought for weeks into thinking about/processing the information to make sure I am doing the right thing. They also couldn't get my wheel weights to stay on my wheels. But the plus for them is they did suggest a good place to go and have my Wheels properly Road force balanced. Each time something was not done right I tried to be calm and decent about it when I communicated with them. when I told Universally Modified about each issue, they did not apologize and didn't say what can I do to make it right, didn't say it would not happen in the future, nothing. I feel unsafe using Universally Modified due to them, causing my car to lose control on the street or on the track, and kill or enter others and myself! They will not answer or return my phone calls I tried calling multiple times to communicate with universally Modified in order to speak with them and get their side/viewpoint before I posted this.

I asked to put headers on my car. Not a tough job. I took a while to get the headers in. They…read morestayed on it. Once they arrived, headers were installed expertly. Including the modification required. The whole team was great. Ryan is a very knowable young man. Showed me the entire processes from beginning to end. There prices are just at industry standard. I will return. Keep this place in mind when you need your car worked on. They are becoming rather popular.

On top of a that they modified my aftermarket front bumper to accommodate a winch. Everything has worked perfect since installed in 2016!

Went to this shop in 03 to get my 4Runner set up for Overland Expo East…read more ARB Bumper Winch Dobson Lift Tires A few other things I can't remember at this time (2025) needless to say the guys at the shop were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As a first timer getting into the overland/off-road community I did my research before hand, and thought I needed so much done to the truck to be able to manage the great outdoors. I was wrong. The guys set me up to ease my way in and enjoy my truck with the exact equipment to do just that. They didn't sell me anything I didn't need, nor suggest the top of the line products to break the bank. A "newbie " such as myself at the time walking in they could have done so much extra BUT didn't. They took the time to show me different options and explain the different products they suggested and why. I felt very comfortable trusting my truck and yes, my money with them because they made the experience so easy. After all was said and done I came to pick up the truck and thought I'd just pay and be on my way. Again I was wrong. They brought me in to reveal the final build and walked me around showing me what I purchased and how it will perform and aid me in my camping experiences moving forward. They showed me how to properly and safely use the winch and showed me the best ways to hook up should I get stuck or find myself in a bad situation. I have my next appointment with them this coming Monday to go a bit bigger on the lift, do some maintenance with regards to fluids and electrical issues I encountered over the years (had a walkie talkie system installed elsewhere to be able to talk to my spotter and others I was with on the trails) that had given me some problems with regards to battery issues. Needless to say I am excited to get my truck back in the shop for the next big build. I would strongly recommend Nova Speed Shop to anyone looking for a great shop who has the customers interest in mind, don't sell you on stuff you don't and won't need, and who get the job done right the first time. 10/10 hands down. Will update this post with new pics after I pick the truck up.

Awful. Tori, the "manager" is a lying monster. When you bring your Jeep 40 miles from your home…read morethinking it's going to be in good hands because it's an Offroad shop and then you you have to call them after 2.5 weeks to find out from them over the phone that they verbatum "somehow accidentally bent your axle and will have to order a new one" and then "sorry, should have called you." After picking up the Jeep you later find out the rear differential that you originally went there to get fixed was replaced by used gears AND you find out later that you were still charged the price of new gears. That's right. I paid these guys about 2000 to replace my rear dif. Drove it for about six months and they burned up. "New gears." I called them and explained the situation. I was promised it would be fixed...I had it towed back to Tori and he decided to disappear that day and his 18 year old staff told me "we're sorry, looks like you hit a pot hole we can't fix it, that's what our 'boss said." That's when I had AAA tow it for me to a trusted hometown mechanic 100 miles away. That's when they tore it apart and showed me the numbers on the gears that were 10 years old. I wouldn't trust this place to put air in my tires. Go elsewhere.
