Gail was recommended to me by a friend and I took her in person classes Sept/Oct in her home. She was simply amazing and extremely knowledgable. My husband learned SO much and thanks to Gail's class he was THE MOST amazing labor coach I could have asked for and we had the EXACT birth experience that we had wanted- a completely natural delivery with no interventions. We believe very strongly that we were able to achieve our ideal birth thanks to the knowledge we gained in Gail's class, based on all of her experience and her passion for passing it on to help new moms and dads. Gail was available by phone even after our class was completed and answered all of my questions and put my anxiety at ease-having her as a resource who I knew was just a phone call or a text away was invaluable. I recommend Gail's class to every new mom and dad no matter what kind of birth experience you are looking for! Gail is THE expert!

I would not have been able to do it without her! Rosy helped me every step of the way- she came right when I called her, she timed my contractions, contacted my midwives when it was time for them to come, never hesitated, was always present, calm, composed and quick to respond when I needed help. Rosy helped me drink, eat, provided aromatherapy, administered herbs, controlled my TENS machine, massaged me, help me move about...She basically was the greatest support I could have ever asked for and she did everything without me having to ask. She intuitively knew what I needed and when. I truly believe our home birth went so successfully because Rosy were there. Rosy is a clear communicator and has a wonderful and calm demeanor. When I was scared Rosy was there to comfort me. She cheered me on and told me I was doing an amazing job when I was feeling discouraged, and when my daughter was finally born, after a FULL day of labor I was so touched by Rosy's dedication & resolve and so grateful that I had her support. I highly recommend Rosy as a doula, a friend and a great advocate during labor and birth. Thank you, Rosy, for all that you did for us, from the bottom of our hearts! We look forward to working with you in the future for postpartum doula services and writing you another stellar review for that!

It took my a while to find the right doula as I wanted to find someone who connected with me and made me feel comfortable. The minute I met Rosy I knew she was the one! She's absolutely great! The type of person you want to have around when you're having painful an strong contractions as she has a very calm, soothing voice, sweet personality while at the same time being a firm advocate at the hospital for the birth experience you want to have. My husband and I are incredibly grateful and would recommend every expecting mother to partner up with Rosy. She was always on time, replied to all my emails, all my calls, provided excellent resources, checked on me frequently and was 100% with me throughout labor. It would have been a lot harder to make it without her. After many hours of labor I was able to give birth vaginally to my beautiful baby girl, Paloma. She's also an excellent prenatal yoga teacher so she can recommend exercises to prepare your body for birth and stay healthy throughout your pregnancy, or take her classes, which I did :) She had great connections in the community and referred me to a great chiropractor and acupuncturist who both helped me a lot at the end of my pregnancy. Thank you Rosy!

Raizy is an incredible person to have in your corner during pregnancy and on delivery day. She was advocating for everything my wife needed and was genuinely invested in her success. At the end of it all, Dr. Ratzersdorfer was the hero on delivery day. He really went above and beyond in paying attention to all of the small details and spent hours and a ton of effort to reposition the baby and successfully performed the VBAC that my wife wanted a fair shot at. I can't say enough good things. These folks are professional and genuinely good people who run a traditional medical practice the way it should be, before corporate medicine took everything over and ruined the field. Good medicine still exists!

She was a source of immense comfort and reliable expertise at every step, starting with early labor while I was at home, and then over the course of a 15 hour day in the hospital. She came equipped with all kinds of labor support tools that she used at various points throughout the journey, but her gentle, steady, and encouraging demeanor played the most critical role. I felt that she was connected to me the entire time, physically through gentle touch or guiding me through various positions, as well as mentally, offering mantras, listening carefully, and helping me navigate tricky decisions as my labor presented some challenges--she felt like my ally and advocate at every moment, never putting pressure on me, letting me lead and supporting my instincts. Ultimately, we achieved the tremendous feat of an unmedicated natural birth together, and I absolutely know that I would not have been able to reach that goal without her help. One key strength of hers was the way she skillfully navigated working with the rest of the L&D team. Our doctor told us afterwards how impressed she was with Sooo-z's professionalism, her ability to collaborate smoothly with the nurses to get me what I needed, and her absolute focus on me--something they don't always see with doulas. She's also just a delightful person, easy to spend time with, caring and kind, un-fussy and down to earth. I'd recommend her a thousand times over!
