Is the first appointment fee a little pricey? Yes. (But please check with the office, prices might vary depending on the reason for your appointment---my first appointment included almost every health issue under the sun it seemed. Appointments thereafter are very reasonably priced.) Did I think it was worth the price by the time the appointment ended? Yes. Did I still think it was worth the price two months later--including the 2+ hour drive from PA to see him and satisfy legal requirements to allow us to use telemedicine moving forward? Yes. Has Dr. Attar helped me in ways that other medical doctors--including other naturopathic ones--have not? Yes. Let me tell you a little more... I see Dr. Attar for numerous things including type 1 diabetes management (Dr. Attar is essentially a disciple of Dr. Bernstein for diabetes management) and other autoimmune issues (Hashimoto's, Vitiligo, and others), but taking the cake is my numerous GI and GERD issues that no one has been able to help alleviate (severe gas, bloating, nausea, constipation, fatigue). Dr. Attar did specialized testing to see what foods are likely causing my body to have an autoimmune attack, had me eliminate the problems foods, put me on a host of supplements due to the severity of my issues, then adjusted things along the way when relief was not coming as quickly as expected, paving the way to the point where I am finally beginning to have GI relief after two months of treatment--most of his patients reap the GI benefits much sooner, but he didn't give up on me, and now I am glad that I also did not give up on him! I'm praying that the newfound relief sustains so that I can avoid surgery in the future, and it just might be possible now; when, a month ago, I was almost certain that surgery would be the only option left for me. If you're a diabetic (type 1 or 2), please look into Dr. Attar's story (DrAttar.com), and give serious consideration to seeing him--you don't have to dump your endo to do so either. I really believe he can help you achieve remarkably tight diabetes control and A1c levels at or near that of non-diabetics--reducing your risks to the point of near elimination of all those long-term complications that compromise and take the lives of diabetics every day (heart disease, kidney failure, blindness, and a plethora of others). If you have GI issues and your doctors and specialists have not been able to get to the root cause of your symptoms and alleviate them, please consider seeing Dr. Attar--not simply because I would like to see his practice grow--but because I want to see others truly get the help they need, and I think Dr. Attar might be able to help you just as he's helped me. read more

Dr. Attar is well-versed in naturopathic approach to health and is open to an infinite amount of ways an issue can be addressed. Labs are thorough, questions are answered with care and detail and I have seen major improvements in my health. Could not be happier with my consultation with Dr Attar. I had been experiencing disturbed sleep , afternoon fatigue and generally tired during the day . He did a comprehensive blood panel and found a couple things could cause my symptoms. After a diet adjustment and added a few supplements. I feel 100% better .
