It has been a journey I could never forget, a journey that I have come close to throwing away numerous times. However, there was another conversation we had where he lost his patience with me, and I felt he was very verbally abusive and extremely manipulative. I've also find this concerning because I know someone who was a student of his who has the same type of manipulating and picking and choosing who he's going to respect and disrespect as a film Director, so I think it's important to recognize that Reno may or may not be teaching some verbally abusive behavior. In my experience, he's too much of a hothead, he was trying to psychoanalyze me to hurt my feelings and I felt like if I worked with him it would be an experience where he would give me a lot of toxicity. I'm happy that he ended up refusing to let me take one of his classes that I was excited to take, because easily I would've avoided a very bad and abusive experience. Please stop picking and choosing who you're going to respect and disrespect.
