Rushed to hospital where they performed a "revision". Still went back for regular checkups which involve a co-pay and sitting well past the appointment time. Complaints of pain went with no resolution. One of his PAs stated it was probably barometric pressure. Had another dislocation a few years later. Again, frantic calls to his office went unanswered and unreturned. This one was painful. Rushed to hospital where revision was unsuccessful. Told x-ray showed hip cup installed incorrectly. Baruch never tried to contact me. Finally after 2 months in hospital and on pain meds resident ortho agreed to help. Said finally got hold of Baruch who just said resident doc can take me. After a revision I was asked how I managed the pain as dead skin was the only thing holding my leg together for years. Also, an infection was in the hip and leg from the original hip replacement by Baruch. On antibiotics off and on. Can't imagine the damage to my liver over time. I have called his office to get information on his Med Malpractice insurance. They're not giving me any information and haven't received a Get Well card from the so-called doctor. If you have an option I would not choose Baruch.

I am a very active individual: tennis, scuba diving, horse back riding etc and had almost resigned to a life of very limited activity. I kept getting: "Nothing to do. Just rest." I decided to take matters in my own hands and found Dr. Larisa Likver. She did injections of PRP, Prolotherapy and Ozone. All I can say is Dr. Likver has changed my life and is restoring my health. She is a wealth of knowledge, welcomes questions, is patient, reassuring, uber professional, warm, compassionate, always interested and caring. She WANTS you to get better, feel great and live your best life! The treatments aren't painful and I actually look forward to them. I went from being a "hopeless" case to now being able to do side bends, take deep breaths and reach for my Iphone without harming myself. Dr. Likver is one of the best doctors I have ever worked with and I am so grateful to be in her care. If you're suffering from chronic pain or trauma/injury related pain of any type do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

I have a herniated disc in my neck which often flares up and causes me severe pain in my arms. After seeing countless doctors (most of whom told me to just "take advil") Dr. Patel was the ONLY doctor who actually provided me with REAL treatment that decreased my pain and improved my quality of life. She sat with me and took her time explaining my options. During my epidural procedure she talked to me the entire time and told me exactly what she was doing. She is extremely knowledgeable and cares about my well being. I am so fortunate to have found her and my spine also thanks her.

I waited nearly two months for an MRI while Dr. Patel's office repeatedly told me that my insurance company had denied it. When I contacted my insurance company, I was told there were problems with the paperwork submitted by the doctor's office. After several weeks of back-and-forth, I decided to see another doctor and got the MRI the very next day. I also left several messages asking Dr. Patel to call me and sent her a direct email, but I never received a response. I wish I had read the reviews before making the appointment because they closely reflect my experience. DO NOT USE HER!!! You will regret it!

While we expected a pain management based treatment plan, Dr. Johar was willing to make the call to refer us for PT and thankfully that has been a very successful course of treatment. I guess with board certifications in physical medicine as well as pain management he really understands when he should treat a patient for pain versus when to attempt to refer for another type of treatment. Thank you Dr. Johar!

You'd have to go back to review the unnecessary tests, of course, and that would probably cost another $367.50--and I'd wager there'd be no prescription then, either. Clearly, this guy is just trying to maximize his profit, not treat patients. Stay away! When I called later to get a copy of his office notes to take to a reputable provider recommended by my primary-care physician, I was told I had to pay to copy 38 pages. It simply is not credible that he has 38 pages of notes for a 10-minute visit. This guy is milking his patients for all the money he can get, not providing care. Sigh. Once again, he refers to medical records, which he did not request in advance nor offer to review. All he did was order unnecessary and expensive tests and ask me to come back, and pay another outrageous fee. 1. Dr. Johar appears to have no actual presence in New Jersey, so the whole premise is a sham. (The NJ listing shows a fictive address that I could walk to, but he does not practice there.) 2. The "physician's notes" I requested consisted of copies of three pages of a form I'd filled out and which he initialed. His only effort to record our visit was this form, alas. 3. The records came with a form (never before given me) that insists there must be two visits (and, thus, two fees), but it also says he takes most insurance. Mine is quite common, but he does not accept it. 4. The two scrips he gave me (I'll post pictures if I can) are both from New York--and invalid in New Jersey. Again, from the get-go, I indicated that I lived in--and required help in--NJ. They are also completely illegible.
