This past July, I hurt myself during yoga (a result and mix of over-exercising/working out/pandemic stress) and I was referred to this practice. Before then, I had never injured myself physically and was experiencing - what I soon came to recognize - a high level of anxiety previously unknown to me. As someone who always felt extremely strong, both physically and mentally, I felt like a stranger in my own body. Dr. Niv (Zack) was my primary therapist and (while I wish I had never injured myself or had to learn what anxiety was) I consider it a major blessing that of all the PT's in the world, I somehow happened to find him. He is an expert, serious professional, and all around fantastic human being. I have never felt more safe, taken care, understood, or truly heard by a health care professional ever in my life. The care I received was always personalized and thoughtful. I always felt like he wanted to hear what was on my mind/concerns/etc. His understanding of the body and mind is incredible. My treatment always felt like an extremely educated and human approach. Something I (and everyone else) desperately needed. I could go on! While I am essentially recovered, I wish I could visit this practice every week. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Also noteworthy: The front desk staff are amazing - incredibly easy to make or change an appointment, assist with insurance/billing related questions or problems. The facility is clean & welcoming. I would love to share my experience further with anyone considering a visit.

I can not say enough great things about Perfect Stride!! I've been working with Vikash for over six…read moremonths, and he is by far the best PT I have worked with in over a decade as a competitive high school + D3 college athlete turned runner into adulthood. I came in after dealing with more than half a year of chronic pain in multiple places--my knee, hamstring, and random spots--that had completely sidelined my running. I had already tried several well-known running PT clinics around the city and continued to end up with lingering pain and zero trust in my providers or recovery plan. By the time I found Vikash, I was frustrated, burned out, and extremely fearful that I'd never get back to running. From day one, Vikash was different. He was the only PT who actually listened to what I'd been experiencing. He took the time to understand the full picture and built a thoughtful, personalized plan instead of a one-size-fits-all routine. What made the biggest difference, though, was how he guided me through the recovery process with positivity. I was extremely pessimistic when I started but overtime with his thoughtful and supportive approach, I began to feel more hopeful. He helped me understand that pain isn't always a setback, taught me how to work through it safely, and reframed how I think about my body and training. Those skills have been genuinely life-changing, and I know I'll carry them with me as an athlete forever. Recovery wasn't always easy, and there some bumps throughout the process, but I really would not be where I am today without Vikash. I'm now not only out of chronic pain but actively training again. Even though I have occasional flare ups, I have so much more understanding about how to work through them and not fear injury/pain as an athlete. I'm continuing to work with Vikash on a structured running plan, building a strong running base for next year's races, and I feel stronger, more confident, and more mentally prepared than I have in a very long time. If you're a runner--or honestly any athlete--who feels stuck, discouraged, or unheard dealing with lingering pain, I highly recommend Perfect Stride!

I was having a fairly positive experience until the physical therapist I was seeing left for…read moreanother practice and Mackenzie took over for her. Mackenzie has to be the most unprofessional medical professional I have had the experience dealing with. She completely disregarded my doctor's instructions and had a terrible attitude. The owner couldn't care less as he has one foot out the door. They also don't sanitize ANYTHING! None of the tables, mats, or equipment is cleaned after use. I have never been to a physical therapy provider to care less about cleanliness. They also have the most uncomfortable tables for being stretched out on. Review updated below to respond to the numerous lies and misrepresentations made in the owners responses. It is clear the owner wants to take zero accountability for the unacceptable attitude Mackenzie has (which someone else called out in another recent review) because he can't afford to lose another physical therapist. -I genuinely cannot think of one thing I did or said that would have made Mackenzie or the other PT uncomfortable. The owner has made these claims, but has refused to discuss with me directly what exactly made them so uncomfortable. If I was making the female PTs as uncomfortable as he claims why was I not switched to his care or the other male PT at the practice? Also, why would he allow me to be in a separate room with them alone and not at one of the tables in the common area that would allow him or other staff members to directly supervise if this was the case? If anyone was uncomfortable, I was by Mackenzie's attitude. In terms of the unsavory language in the email, as they say if the shoe fits :) -My doctor prescribed me PT sessions after discussing the best treatment plan options I had available with it being his recommendation we continue one last batch of sessions that Mackenzie decided to cut short. He disagrees with their decision to cut my treatment short so what is there to discuss about it now? -Not sure how showing up looking to get help with the pain and discomfort caused by a medical condition would qualify as using his clinic as a personal training facility? -I never said it was a terrible place, as I stated I was having a fairly positive experience until Mackenzie took over. -I had emailed the owner about the lack of cleanliness and as a result they would wipe the stretching table for me (as they should for every patient). I guess that was "obnoxious" and "rude" for me to ask to not lie in the filth of someone else. -Mackenzie was the complete opposite of professional when it came to her telling me in her opinion my issue did not require any more physical therapy. She was aggressive and harsh in tone and language. -Suggesting a personal trainer would better meet my needs was scoffed at by my doctor and was never considered by him at any point in my recovery even prior to starting at Integrative. -I never stated I was considering legal action against my prior clinics. I had stated I had looked into taking legal action against a former one years ago unrelated to my current injury due to the treatment received causing my injury to worsen requiring surgery. I left my prior provider because the price nearly tripled at the start of the new year. This was all communicated to Frank. -It is a lie we had a back and forth after my last session. He responded to my initial email asking for a call and refused to respond to my initial follow up email asking to explain what was making Mackenzie uncomfortable treating me. There was no offer made over email to have a face to face conversation nor a call with him to discuss the matter, nor did I refuse a call between him and my doctor. -Not sure what is harassing about sending one follow up email on what exactly is making the physical therapist uncomfortable to treat me when that is such a bold statement. -Having one foot out the door came straight from one of his physical therapists who stated he is looking to get out of the business now that his family lives in South Carolina. Someone who commutes that far to work part time doesn't sound like someone who is there to stay long term. -Not sure why it would matter if Oliver was my real name or not. It has no impact on the situation. Just the owner grasping for straws to try and reclaim any credibility.

This office has a policy that you must leave the credit card on file with authorization to charge it anytime they want. But the most unappealing was their tier system of services! For what insurance covers you'll get only 20 min of their services. As a full time dentist, my body takes a real beating, especially my lower back, so finding the right physical therapist was extremely important to me. I came in dealing with ongoing back pain and was starting to think more seriously about whether surgery might eventually be necessary. Since working with Conner, that trajectory has shifted in a very meaningful way. I'm not claiming magic, but so far I've been able to avoid surgery, and that is a huge win. What I really appreciate is that this is not the typical fluffy PT experience with endless generic stretches and exercises that don't feel connected to real strength or function. Conner takes a much more thoughtful approach. We do careful progressive overload with real attention to form, limitations, and precautions for my back. So I'm not just getting physical therapy. I'm also able to keep up with my training and strength work at the same time. That combination has been incredibly valuable for me. Conner is also just a pleasure to work with. He is easy to talk to, a great conversationalist, and he makes the sessions feel fun, challenging, and encouraging without ever losing sight of safety. He knows how to push appropriately while still being careful. The new facility is another big plus. It feels modern, professional, and well set up for both rehab and training, which fits this style of treatment perfectly. It does not feel like a stale or overly clinical PT office. The early morning hours work really well for my schedule, and the location is very convenient and easy to access by the L train. Being so central in Manhattan makes it easy to get to. Overall, it feels like a win win. I'm addressing my back pain seriously while also continuing to build strength instead of putting my whole physical life on pause. Highly recommend Conner and PhysioRX.
