I've been working with Conner at PhysioRX, and it has honestly been one of the best decisions I've made for my health. As a full time dentist, my body takes a real beating, especially my lower back, so finding the right physical therapist was extremely important to me. I came in dealing with ongoing back pain and was starting to think more seriously about whether surgery might eventually be necessary. Since working with Conner, that trajectory has shifted in a very meaningful way. I'm not claiming magic, but so far I've been able to avoid surgery, and that is a huge win. What I really appreciate is that this is not the typical fluffy PT experience with endless generic stretches and exercises that don't feel connected to real strength or function. Conner takes a much more thoughtful approach. We do careful progressive overload with real attention to form, limitations, and precautions for my back. So I'm not just getting physical therapy. I'm also able to keep up with my training and strength work at the same time. That combination has been incredibly valuable for me. Conner is also just a pleasure to work with. He is easy to talk to, a great conversationalist, and he makes the sessions feel fun, challenging, and encouraging without ever losing sight of safety. He knows how to push appropriately while still being careful. The new facility is another big plus. It feels modern, professional, and well set up for both rehab and training, which fits this style of treatment perfectly. It does not feel like a stale or overly clinical PT office. The early morning hours work really well for my schedule, and the location is very convenient and easy to access by the L train. Being so central in Manhattan makes it easy to get to. Overall, it feels like a win win. I'm addressing my back pain seriously while also continuing to build strength instead of putting my whole physical life on pause. I understand that price is sometimes dependent upon treatment needed, but they won't even give you a general ballpark figure. I had a really great experience with PhysioRX. I primary worked with Connor and Alex and they were instrumental in putting together a very effective workout plan to address my shoulder, elbow and knee problems. I had previously tried another physical therapy practice but it was overcrowded and a lot of the exercises they gave me were ineffective and honestly kind of boring haha. PhysioRX is unique in that they design their physical therapy programs for people who lift, so I got to do barbell exercises I enjoyed doing such as squats and bench press during the course of the program plus learning some new movements that really helped me feel a lot better. The PhysioRX facilities in Brooklyn and Manhattan are great, not crowded like regular gyms or other PT practices. The program was structured so that for the first 6 weeks, I met with Connor 1:1 once a week at the facility and the other two days I would work out by myself and get feedback via the app. Then after that I worked out by myself but uploaded videos through the app and got. Feedb. Having Connor monitor how I was doing each exercise and receive feedback was really really helpful. I was able to feel a lot more confident in doing the exercises while having an experienced lifter and PT providing feedback. For the days I worked out by myself, I would take videos and upload them via the app, and Connor and Alex were always very prompt to provide feedback and answer any questions I had. After 5 months, I can say that my body feels much better thanks to the PhysioRX program, I feel all healed up. I came to PhysioRX when I was stuck in a lull after my ACL tear/surgery and felt like I needed more strength improvement after a few months of physical therapy. On my intake call, I really felt like Georgio understood my goals and concerns, and loved that he also put importance on the future goals I had (outside of simply getting back to normal post-ACL surgery). I started working with Connor and from the very beginning it was obvious he had the expertise and experience to help me with my existing concerns and growth -- he's well versed in ACL recovery & strength training, and his level of understanding with exercise routines/workout planning/pain management/etc. was so helpful to have on a daily basis through the app. The app is such an awesome tool because Connor was able to plan out my weekly exercise routines (from specific exercises with video examples, to # of reps, to output level, etc.) and I could message him daily if I had questions or concerns. He tailored my schedule every week based on my gym access (which was so helpful because for a few months I was traveling a lot and had to change gyms often!), and he was always so quick and responsive -- so helpful when my schedule was sometimes up in the air. Connor was able to really push me to focus on building strength, training to get into a place where I could run again, and helped me work towards my goal of completing the Empire State Building Run-up. Eventually another PhysioRX team member joined in to help out (Dustin), and he was so awesome at pinpointing some areas where I needed to improve strength after I ran into some pain and roadblocks. There are so many ups and downs after ACL surgery but PhysioRX, Connor, and Dustin really helped me gain confidence and feel positive about where I'm at and where I'm headed next. I started working with PhysioRX when I busted both my wrists rushing back into rock climbing after a couple of years off. Connor put together a program which I could fit into my busy schedule, including some workouts I could do at home when I couldn't make it to the gym. Whenever I had a concern, he was happy to give advice or adjust the program. After six months, not only were my wrists mostly free of pain and their range of motion improved, but I was also in the best shape of my life. Phenomenal. Literally changed my perception of what "physical therapy" even was. My previous experience with physical therapy was trying to fix shoulder impingement and going to athletico. That experience was overall pretty useless and unfortunately made me hesitant to seek physical therapy for my knee. Now, years later my knee pain during squats came to a point where it was holding back progress and I realized I needed to see professionals who could rehab my knee in the context of powerlifting. My experience with Connor was awesome. Knee pain is managed and he helped me with my shoulder too! The app is easy to use, sending videos and then getting feedback every session is incredibly helpful. You get out what you put in, be good about communicating and taking/sending videos as needed and your results will be better than ignoring your coach's messages and half hearted attempts at sticking with the plan. read more

Connor is the best. I had a hard fall that broke my transverse process (technically a small back break) and put me in a bunch of nerve pain. He coached me through recovery from not being able to bend over without pain to hitting powerlifting prs. I'd worked with Connor before for a previous injury, and I've always appreciated how straightforward, empathetic, thorough, and informative he is. He really cares about helping you hit your goals and makes sure recovery isn't a complete slog. I've left treatment stronger than pre-injury each time we've worked together. He's also good about explaining why he suggests things, which makes me feel like I can maintain results after our engagement. The PhyisioRX setup has made working with him even better. I appreciate that the program is flexible for both online and in-person support, and it's set up to get you exactly what works for your recovery plan. I went in-person a few times in my 4 month engagement, and the treatment facility (gym?) was always really clean and nice to use. The app is easy-to-use, and Connor and the team were extremely responsive and engaged for any questions I had. I started going to PhysioRx after I tore left acl which is 7 years after I tore my right acl, both playing soccer. After tearing it for the 2nd time, I realized I needed specialized care instead of a generic PT location so I decided to try out PhysioRX, and they have been amazing! I work with Will mostly and even though I only see him once a month and the rest virtually, I have seen so much more progress than my first acl tear. Will is up to date with the most recent research which makes him super knowledgable and trustworthy. He busts a bunch of gym/strength conditioning myths for me and really teaches me how to focus on the movements. PhysioRx is out of network but I think it's well-worth it especially to prevent any further injuries! I feel stronger and hope to be stronger than I was pre-injury! read more

I herniated my spine (L4/L5) in a crossfit competition and cannot say enough about the great experience I have had with PhysioRX (both Georgio and Zach). PhysioRX is a very personal experience, and beyond going through the motions of physical therapy, I always felt listened to. Highlights: +First and foremost, Georgio and Zach totally understand my goals and NEVER judged that I wanted to get back to the barbell. I came to Georgio with sciatica and radiating down the back of my leg and foot. At that time I was really into CrossFit and didn't like the fact that any kind of strenuous weight-lifting activity would set off the pain. I spent 24 weeks using PhysioRx's digitally supported program, and while I had at least 3 recovery set-backs during that time, I can finally say most of my days are spent pain-free. I was diagnosed with Chondromalacia (fraying of cartilage behind my knee cap) that was likely triggered by a combination of overuse and scar tissue from an older ACL sprain. I came to PhysioRx after two rounds of failed physical therapy and desperate to get back to pain-free weightlifting, long-distance biking, and snowboarding. Connor and Dustin were extremely supportive, competent, responsive, and helpful every step of the way. I've been a patient of Georgio's for nearly 10 years and my body never felt so good since. Wherever he goes, I will follow. As a former kick boxer and consistent HIIT class participant, I've had many injuries and have been to multiple PT's, leaving me feeling like a lost cause, until G started working on me. I sought Georgio's help for PT services (I'm now pain free without the need of any surgeries) and continued working with him and Connor through their virtual 12 week custom exercise and nutrition program. Zach Friedenreich was my ACL surgery re-hab physical therapist for the past 6 months and I am overly happy I found PhysioRX! The 1-on-1 therapy method is quite unique in New York and after training a couple of months with ZACH we reached my goals and got me back on the slopes for skiing! I came to PhysioRX for a minor wrist sprain that happened from overstretching in a yoga class. After a few weeks of doing some awesome strength training work for my wrists/upper body in general, my wrist is almost 100% back to weight-bearing capacity. My upper body has gotten so much stronger in the process, which has been great for all the physical activities that I regularly do. It's been a great experience working with Zach so far, he's the best! He's extremely knowledgeable and he always answers all the questions that I have. He always explains what we're doing, why we're doing it, and how it's going to aid in my wrist recovery. Having gone through several injuries including both knees and my back, he listens to what my issues are and has a great plan on how to tackle each session. Georgio is a phenomenal PT and person. I had 2 back to back injuries, ankle tendonosis and a foot fracture, from running. He introduced me to blood flow restriction training, which helped me preserve my endurance/VO2max when I was out for 15 weeks. Georgio was dedicated to helping me through my injury while being flexible and respecting my personal goals to continue doing what I could to stay a strong runner. He is focused on evidence-based science at the foundation of his practice. I highly recommend Georgio and PhysioRX. I had pulled my hamstring three time over a six month period and had been to three separate physical therapists before starting with Georgio. Georgio's rehab program was 100% tailored to meet my rehab goals: returning to running, CrossFit and soccer/softball. The plan was laid out and explained to me at the beginning - not something all PTs do. All sessions were 1-on-1 for an hour and he's extremely attentive with each exercise. I worked with Georgio for post opp ACL reconstruction surgery. I saw an in-network PT about 8 months post opp and worked with Georgio around months 8-9 of recovery for sports conditioning but also continuous rehab of my knee. After my in-network physical therapy session were were maxed out, I knew I wanted to continue to work with someone for sports-specific training and I was referred to Physio RX. I learned a lot from Georgio and it was nice to have a fresh set of professional eyes on my rehab and overall programming. He was great at being both focused and diverse in the programming for me under a restricted timeframe - he focused on rehab/knee specific movements, overall strength, and some anaerobic and sports specific conditioning to get me back into competitive sports. I would love to work with Georgio across a longer timeframe, but it would be challenging to do so due within my budget. Overall, he gave me that final boost of confidence I needed to go full force into competitive sports training. Last thing - he programmed BFR specific training for me outside of the work I did with him at the gym and it proved to be really effective in growing quad size. I sustained a herniated disc injury about 6 years ago. At the time, I was able to avoid surgery through Epidural Steroid Injections and extensive physical therapy. As anyone with a back injury knows, this becomes somethIng you have to live with and manage on an on going basis. A couple months back I re-aggravated the injury (largely due to a prolonged period of long work hours and physical inactivity). My doctor gave me oral steroids and told me to start Physical Therapy. I was referred to Georgio by a coworker who had been a patient of his and was super emphatic about how great he was and how positive her experience was with him. His location was close to my office by Madison Square Park so I decided to give it a shot. Best decision I have made in awhile! The difference between my previous Physical Therapy experience and my sessions with Georgio have been NIGHT AND DAY. My previous experience was largely limited to generic floor mat type stretches. I could tell right away Georgio had a much more proactive, personalized, and engaged approach. He pretty quickly had me doing a wide range of exercises that were much more complex (and more effective) than in my previous experience. It wasn't long before Georgio had me doing work with kettlebells and doing deadlifts (something I would have never imagined!). To put that in perspective - I couldn't walk unassisted when I first re-aggravated my injury. Georgio has given me my life back. Add onto all of that that he is super positive, professional, easy to talk to, very responsive in communications, and takes the time to explain the process / injury / how your body works. Last winter I sustained a running related injury to my knee while training for my first half marathon. It was discouraging to have the setback after working so hard, I thought the pain and swelling would go away on its own but it did not. A friend introduced me to Physio Rx and I'm glad he did. Zack and Georgio were great, they are very easy to work with and utilize a comprehensive, science based approach that is individually catered to each client, and their wealth of knowledge is outstanding. They do not waste any time with gimmicky passive technology, all of the techniques we used were real work with real results. Within 6 weeks I went from not being able to run at all to getting back into my training and with a much stronger base of knowledge than I initially had. The race inevitably got cancelled due to Covid, but I was still able to run a half marathon on my own and even within the same timeframe I was initially targeting despite the setback.
