I decided to try this nail salon because the one that I normally go to was fully booked. I am veryyyy particular about my coffin shaped gel manicures and have a hard time finding salons that are familiar with this shape. I tried my luck and I am beyond pleased with nails. Jessica did my nails and all I had to do was show her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered. She has a great technique which is required for beautiful nail shaping and applying gel color in thin layers so it doesn't look bulky. I will definitely be returning. Thanks Jessica!!!! read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! Other than the city who pays over 40 dollars for tips? Unbelievable. Across the street at Mimi's it is 22.00 and they do such a better job. Not only did this place rush me but my tips look bulky and very messy. I have acrylic all over my skin and more nail polish on my fingers than my nails. What a awful experience. In all my years getting nails done I have never experienced this! This place is not only un-personable but I'd a rip off!!!!! Left without even tipping because they started to laugh when I asked to clean off the acrylic. I will make sure they never get business from myself or anyone I know EVER! My sisters and I came in for gel manicures and pedicures on a Friday afternoon. Our usual nail spot was busy, so we decided to check this place out. There wasn't much of a wait time, but I wished we had gone somewhere else. My sister's gel manicure chipped the next day and two of my nails chipped the day after hers did- something that is unheard of with gel manicures! My other sister's pedicure came out so sloppy with uneven coats of polish. Sighs, won't be coming back here! read more

HORRIBLE! The mani pedi is $16 but I'd honestly rather pay more and get it done right. My nails were cut crooked. The polish is not on evenly all across the nails. The lady who did my toes did a horrible job also. I will rarely complain about my nails but if you can't even cut a persons nail straight then I don't think you should be working at a nail salon. Another thing is I'm Korean. I can read, write and speak fluently in both English and Korean and I hate when they talk #$% about people. I got acrylics done at this place. First of all acrylics are meant to last two weeks. My acrylics broke off so easily within the first week of having them. Also, had to pay $10 extra for coffin tips ! i don't recommend going here for acrylics. read more

Worst service ever. Went in with a friend to get a Mani/pedi. Other people who walked in after us were taken before us. They told my friend to sit in a manicure chair after someone was finished but then just left her sitting there, while they started my manicure. They finally called her over to get her pedicure and I went to dry my nails. A pedicure chair opened and I was told to sit. The woman started my pedicure and I realized they never cleaned it before I put feet in and told her. She had the audacity to get mad at me and said that I should have told her sooner since she already filled it with water. Last time I checked that wasn't my job. You really can't beat the price you get here. Got a mani/pedi for the 16.99. And they do a really good job. I've gotten gel manicures here before. They use LED lighting instead of UV which is good. The manicures last a really long time and they do a better job than any other place I've gone. My gel manicure lasted 2.5 months without any cracking or anything. Expect to wait here though if you are a walk in. They are always busy. So make sure you have an appointment if you're not so patient! read more

I just went to Jun's on my lunch break for the first time. I got a gel mani and regular pedi. JESSIA was in a super rush and DID not file my fingers or toes,I pointed it out and she lied to my face and said she did. She spent 29 minutes exactly on both gel mani and pedi. Which tells she did a horrible job. I told her It wasn't about the money. I paid and left but will Never go there again.... she didn't even clean my finger nails,I couldn't believe she lied to my face either. Shows alot .. I paid 40.dollars for something I wasn't just unhappy with but hated. Looking at the reviews alot of people agree she rushes. I came here with friends/part of a bridal party to get our mani pedis before the wedding. Thankfully there was no wait and we were able to be accommodated - i'm sure these ladies are very hardworking especially for the price of $18 for a reg mani pedi. That being said, the young lady who was doing my nails was terrible. It was messy, smeared on my skin - if i wanted nail polish to be done this messy, I would have just done it myself. I asked her to fix it..to which she fixed 2 fingers and then left me to attend to another customer..leaving the other 8 fingers still messy. I started having to clean it up myself until another technician was nice enough to help me do it without me messing up my nails. The mani pedi has only lasted for 4 days before chipping. All of my other mani's have lasted longer. Terrible. She totally did not deserve to be tipped (she asked me to pay prior to my mani, which is fine). Another technician went overboard on callouses on my friend's heel leaving her a cut up heel.Will not be back here. read more

The little one and I came in to get manicures and pedicures. We were told to pick out colors and for the both of us to have a seat at one of the pedicure chairs. There were only three technicians and they were busy so I knew we would have to wait. Here goes the kicker someone comes in who must be a regular and states that she can't stay it's too many people. The tech goes on to tell her to wait thirty minutes. I look up 15 minutes later and she's getting her nails done. She goes on to say we are next but she finishes up her customers nails and tells someone else to have a seat at a pedicure chair and commences to do her pedicure. This will be the last time I go to Jun's. Jessica only cares about her new customers. It's been 15 months of the same nonsense...always having to wait 1/2 hour with an appt., etc. but today was the last straw. I had an appt that I made this morning before they opened and still waited 10 mins. Finally, the woman began to take the polish off my nails, and then told me that I had to wait 15 mins and she took a walk-in. When I asked why, Jessica said "we are very busy". Ridiculous. I called Paris nails down the street and they took me right away even though they were extremely busy. Jessica treats her regular customers like crap and she treats the workers even worse. She only cares about $$$ and she overcharges. Paris Nails does an amazing job without the BS and without having to wait...in the nail business it's all about a great manicure and being treated right...some people just don't realize where their bread is buttered! read more

I go every month for a gel manicure so when last time when my usual lady was unavailable I made the dreadful decision of coming to this place. I had long, beautiful, strong nails and I just came to change my color. I instructed the lady clearly and in details not to cut my nails short just to file them and change the color but she cut my nails extremely short, completely disregarded my instructions and went on to do a horrible horrible job. Not only that she had no idea how to file them. They were all crooked, every single one of them and when I pointed it out she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. AND on top of this she ruined my nail polish. It was horribly done, there were cracks in my polish as I was leaving the salon. I have never been more furious at a salon visit. And I'm not trying to be a mean person, I even left her a tip bc that's the appropriate thing to do when you're at a salon even though she completely didn't deserve it. Not even a week later half the nail polish has chipped off but also my nails are breaking and they have cracks in them and that has NEVER happened to me before. I went tonight and got a regular manicure and pedicure for $ 18.00. Parking on the side stree was easy to find (and free). The place was clean and not crowded on a Monday night. I waited a few minutes. Lee did my pedicure and someone else did my manicure. They were fast and did a nice job. I am happy with the quality of their service and will be back. read more

I've been going here for two years after going to several different salons in Bayside. Everyone is friendly and you do not hear the gossip that goes along with most salons. They know their customers by first names. Jessica is my go to person for my nails. She does a great job with the wraps, it looks very natural. Her fill ins last more than two weeks, amazing. This place is great. I usually get the mani pedi combo since it's 16 which is fairly cheap. Love the fact that they give free parafin. I have not had a problem with my mani pedi thus far. The only downside is I do agree with Jenn C. that sometimes (not all but certain individuals) there are some ladies who would speak in korean and laugh at customers which i find so irritating.
