About a year ago, I received Botox injections from Virginia. For context, I've had Botox several times in the past at other locations without any issues. During this visit, she treated my forehead and the area between my eyes, and strongly insisted that I also treat my crow's feet--even after I explained that I typically don't do that area. Despite my hesitation, she continued to push for additional units, which already made me feel uneasy. Unfortunately, the results turned out poorly. The Botox looked uneven, and I experienced significant side effects. My eyes became extremely dry, heavy, and uncomfortable--to the point where I had to keep a warm, damp cloth over them for several hours a day, for nearly three months, just to get relief. I eventually saw an actual physician who specializes in Botox injections to figure out what went wrong. I was told that I had been injected with far too many units, placed too deeply, and too close to my eyes. I truly wish Virginia had listened to me instead of pressuring me into more units. I've spent a lot of money at this clinic in the past for various treatments, and honestly, the way I was treated after this happened was very disappointing. When I spoke with Virginia on the phone about the side effects, she repeatedly questioned whether something else was going on with me--as if I was exaggerating or making up what I was experiencing, despite suffering for nearly three months. I was very disappointed and do not recommend this clinic! I would pay the additional few bucks per unit and go to an experienced injector and someone who actually listens to you. read more

Came in for a lip flip. Front desk girls are super nice. I have been getting lip flips for a while and this was my least favorite one. It actually did nothing. New Image Works came highly recommended to me. I wanted to find a new place to get Botox. I went to the location on 1350 N. Wells. I was placed with Karissa. She was really nice and has a great personality. However, my experience with her wasn't great. We discussed during the consultation that she would do 50 units total of Dysport because I've been getting Botox for the last 9 years. We discussed she would do my 11 lines, forehead and soften my crow's feet. She then proceeded with the injections, without giving me any ice to numb the treated areas. I instantly thought that was weird. She proceeded with the injects in my forehead first. I began bleeding during the process (never happened before) Karissa wiped the blood for my forehead and moved on to my 11 lines then my eyes to treat my crow's feet. After the injections on my eyes, she told me I had a bruise and I can cover it up with makeup. At the moment I knew Karissa wasn't a experienced as I was used to. She walked me out to the reception to pay. My total for 50 units of Dysport was $500.00. According to the New Image website Dysport is $4.00 per unit. I asked Karissa about the price she said it's more like $10.00 per unit, I paid and left. I contacted the manager Kylie to address my concerns about everything previously listed. He basically told me his staff is well trained and I had $20.00 in rewards to use on my next visit. He wasn't interested in my concerns AT ALL. He had a dismissive demeanor. At 50 years old, I wanted to have a facelift without surgery so I decided to checkout New Image Works in Glenview after seeing all of their great reviews. I was so impressed with the results that I talked about this place on my podcast called Parenting Over 40. Let me first say this - as a guy admitting that I've had some work done on my face isn't the easiest thing to do. Having said that, I'll give you my straight up, honest review. BBL Forever Young Laser I suffer from facial redness from rosacea and badly needed a way to just clear up my skin. My medical esthetician Onute, was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend her for laser treatments. I did two sessions of the Forever Young BBL laser which were spread 2 months apart. The results were incredible because it removed most of the age spots, along with the ugly red bumps caused by Rosacea. It was well worth the $400 per session price. I posted the image with this review. Halo Fractional Laser The next step was having my skin completely resurfaced using the Halo Laser. My esthetician explained the entire process before hand so I knew what to expect. Yeah - I have to say that it was a little bit painful because my face was really hot for the first 24 hours. After the first day, my skin did started to calm down and actually heal. A little over a month later I really saw the full results. It was like my skin began looking younger every week and my skin texture was totally even. This one was a little more expensive at around $1,500 for one visit. Finally, I had Botox injections as well as dermal filler for the final stage. Violetta, is a down to earth person who helped me set realistic expectations for the outcome. I have to say she filled in my hollow cheeks in a way that looked completely natural. She also used the filler to square out my jaw line. Overall, I am overwhelmed with the great results. My first visit here was nothing short of amazing. Karissa took her time and got me the results I desired. During my appointment, the staff was extremely kind. Since that initial visit I've recommended this place dozens of times. However my second visit was short of a disaster. I walked in with a friend who had an appointment, I did not. Since I am not local, I worked with Stacy since my original injector Karissa was off. Stacy was very sweet and professional during the appointment. When I looked in the mirror my lips were noticeably not symmetrical, she fixed this right away. After I'd healed I noticed some unevennesses and a dent in my top lip that I bought to her attention. She told me she was glad I reached out and it was an easy fix. I was to let her know when I'd be back in town so she could help me. Days before my visit I let her know that I'd be in town and would love to fix my lips and MAYBE POSSIBLY get some Botox but 100% wanted the hole in my lip fixed. She advised me to go online and make an appointment with a DEPOSIT. That really did not sit right with me because why do I have to pay to see you when you botched my lip??? Had I wanted a full syringe or even more volume I definitely would've booked and prepaid as I'd done before. I had to walk into the office hoping someone could help me. Karissa just so happened to have some free time and added the small minuscule bead of filler need to fill the space. Sadly it made my issue worse, to this day my lips look bumpy and lumpy and if I look at them too hard I want to cry. I do not blame Karissa because she was trying to help. I do not want to visit New Image however no one else will touch my lips because of they look. Just a word of advice, keep Stacy away from your lips. She does amazing Botox but my lips look crazy and her follow up leaves a lot to be desired. read more

So meeting her in person literally felt like I was meeting a celebrity. My expectations were high and let me just say she met and exceeded them by far. I did the Beautify Me package and OMG!!! Update: ZERO STARS New image works reached out to me after over a month of sending in my concerns of my recent injections via email. Virgina and I were speaking through text about what had happen and what we could do to fix it. I sent in several photos of my lips and she said it looks like it migrated on the top. After explaining the process with Karissa and everything I was happy/unhappy with Virgina said they could dissolve some filler from my top lip and add some on the bottom at no extra cost. I told her I didn't want to do that because I feel like it would still look uneven and not originally what I went in for the first time. Virginia said she isn't able to dissolve all of the filler and redo the procedure but that I can come in and talk to the owner Tatiana and her self and come up with a plan. After asking work for time off because its over an hour drive for me and I can't go after 2:30pm because I have my daughter who isn't allowed in the waiting room, I was finally able to go in and see Tatiana and tell her my frustrated from the beginning of saving my hard worked earned money to get my lips done but was convinced to get the package to even out my face, all the way through the current date of how it has made me feel insecure and embarrassed. The owner, Tatiana came in for no more than 10mins and basically was saying she wouldn't do anything because its fine and I should message my top lip so it goes down and that in a few months the filler will go more down on its own..Wtf?!? AND THEN she suddenly says, "but yeah we don't do refunds (never asked for one) and unfortunately thats all the time I have, I have to go.. it was nice meeting you.." and I was still holding the mirror looking at her as she smiles and walks out the room, even though she clearly saw the expression on my face of how shocked I was that she just said that after driving over an HOUR for a 10mins review for her to basically say its not their problem & I should message my lips every morning! And then I just sat in the room after she left and was sitting there still in shocked but Virginia said I was seeing both of them so I waited and then Virginia brought me into her room and basically said the same thing along with added filler to the bottom. Again I asked if this was an extra charged and this time she said YES... when she told me it wouldn't be over texting and told me I misunderstood Karissa when I told her she told me it would be an extra charge.. So first I misunderstood Karissa during our follow up and now im being told there will be a charge???? Make it make sense... they go back and forth on what they told me. LMFAO what a fucking joke! Iv NEVER in my life have written a review (bad or good) but I had to for this company because this is some fucking bullshit... I have been coming to this clinic in the Glenview location for a few years now, and when I saw they opened a Chicago location I was so excited because it is much closer to where I live. When I first walked in, I was just floored by how gorgeous the space is, like you're walking into architectural digest!! I really love the dark vibe because it relaxes me the same way that a massage spa does. The staff are so incredibly warm and welcoming, I always feel like I am with my close friends when I come here. The new front desk staff is just as friendly as the ones in Glenview; I truly don't know how they find so many amazing people! Everyone here feels like they are only looking out for your best interest, which I find to be a very hard quality to upkeep in a business. Teamwork really does make the dream work y'all! I recently started getting the BBL forever young treatments and some botox to prevent premature aging, and I have been absolutely loving the results. The annoying dark pigment spots and redness are completely gone, and I'm left with the smoothest model skin EVER! I highly recommend you try this treatment if you also struggle with the same problems!! And I can't say enough good things about the botox as it is literally keeping me from not scaring everyone on the street with my angry brow lines. I also have to compliment the owner, Tatiana, because she is the sweetest and most bubbly person. I was super excited to go to them to help my smile lines and slim out my face. I spent $5000 and none of my concerns were treated. Instead I got a new chin and an uneven smile. I told them I wanted threads and they said first filler, then threads. I will say the smile lines near my nose were improved. I went back and told them that my concerns were not addressed, the marionette lines seemed more noticeable under my lips and have a weird shadow. The set up an apt with the owner and showed me pics that were taken in different rooms from different angles to try to say it was improved, except there's no light and windows in one room so the pics are bad for my before due to the lack of lighting and then after the filler they were taken in a brighter room with lighting and windows along the wall. Long story short, I am extremely disappointed and sad to have lost thousands of dollars. I asked if threads could help and then they said no, The only thing they told me for my follow up is that they can't help me with what I want and to find someone that has a treatment called Scarlett. I found someone and it's $2500 for this Scarlett tightening treatment! I really really wish they would've told me this from the beginning before I spent soo much money on something that was not going to give me results. I have a full face so can't tell or notice where all the filler they put is except for the long chin that I have now which makes me look weird cause I have big cheeks. The girls at the front desk were super nice and professional, and I wish this post was me raving about my experience :( ask a million questions and don't do this unless you know for a fact what they are doing to your face, where they are injecting and how it's going to improve your appearance if not it's a complete waste of money!! read more

I can't emphasize how much I adore this place. I've been a client for almost 2 years now and have referred 20 other people to this place and they all agree with how amazing their work and staff are!! I worked with Lilah for an entire year, to transform my skin, which she did, exactly that! I've always struggled with horrible acne, and left with really bad scarring (red scarring & deep ice pick scars, which are stubborn and impossible to get rid of) but somehow, she was able to help guide me to achieve my skin goals. It's still not exactly perfect because my skin was very troublesome and damaged, but it's came SUCH a long way. No one believes me now when I show them before pictures of what my skin once looked like, that's how amazing her work is. I came here around June or July for lip, chin, and jaw filler. I'd been following New Image Works' page on Instagram after seeing some mutual friends get work done from them, and decided to finally take the plunge for myself. Because of the pandemic, the initial consultation was done via video call with Tatiana who was the absolute sweetest! She explained everything I needed to know, and then I received a follow up call from Kai who works the front desk to get payment information/answer any other questions I had. I was in and out of my appointment in less than 2 hours looking pretty gnarly, but the results were sooooo good after 2 weeks! I received follow-up messages/texts, and was always able to get ahold of someone quickly to calm my fears and get reassurance about the bruising and swelling process. After my appointment, I remember I was sitting in front waiting to schedule my follow-up, and I was looking/feeling prettttty out of it because I was dumb and didn't eat or drink ANYTHING before my appointment in the morning, and my body was obviously not happy with that on top of subjecting myself to a bunch of needles to the face. Virginia, who wasn't even my injector, came over to make sure I was okay, offered me a granola bar, and told me to come find her if I wasn't feeling well enough to go drive home yet. I've had a weird experience with New Image Works. I had a good first filler & tox appointment with Julia. Second appointment I had a very bad reaction to the filler and required a prescription - sounds like that happened to a handful of people and they thought it was Covid-19 vaccination related. I was concerned but the swelling went down in a day or two after the prescription, so I chalked it up to a weird fluke. Came back in for Botox a couple of weeks ago, I wanted masseter and forehead/glabella and I was talked into getting crows feet too, though I don't really have any, but it was explained to me that it would make the overall book better, so I agreed. A couple of days later, I noticed that my face looked a bit droopy on the left side and my smile was very off. I went back in for a consult and it was explained to me that some of the crows feet filler must have leaked/migrated and knocked out one of my cheek muscles which was causing my droopy smile and a bizarre lift in the left side of my nose. They told me that it wasn't that bad, they'd seen a lot worse, said I t will wear off in 3-4 weeks, and sent me on my way. Lots of causes for Botox that migrates, one of them injector technique. I mentioned this and asked for a partial refund due to how I look and the fact that this droopiness completely overshadows the other botox I got (and spent $1600 for), and was met with lots of attitude at how dare I question technique, and that they don't think it's "that bad". I followed all of their pre and post appt instructions to a T, and am left super dissatisfied at the result and at their customer service. I wish I would have read some of these reviews about the owner before I went here - If you want a professional team who stands by their work, look elsewhere. read more
