The spicy garlic chicken is my fav order, and I also love their lo mein noodles, sesame chicken, sesame beef, walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef, and LOVE their crab rangoons. First time dining; absolute worst experience!…read more Unfortunately, we arrived 30-40 minutes before closing, and the buffet was EMPTY. There was one family there, and it was quiet, no music. They did not attempt to ask if we wanted something specific brought out or anything of that sort. They charged us $35 for an empty buffet which was extremely crazy.

When I asked about the "eat all of your food or be charged" policy I was curious if that applied to small children under 5 (as I had one with me) the owner went off....I know enough of the language to be instantly annoyed at how she was complaining angrily to her daughter. When the daughter tried to explain I told her no need, I got it. We ate everything on our plates, even food I didn't find edible after trying it. It was dirty, hot and lacking in any luster. The food was, meh. Used to go years ago when I was in college, thought we'd try it again after a over a decade. Never again. $45 for 2 adults and a 3year old is crazy for the little amount of food, lack of appeal, and cranky service.

As soon as I walked into the restaurant it smelled like shit...like, literal human feces. Probably a questionable choice on my part to dine in anyway, but I was starving. You can also purchase warm, ready-to-eat egg rolls. Only one variety is available warm each day (depending on what they are making in the factory). Cost is $2.99 for 4. The factory is open most weekdays from 9am to 1pm. I recommend picking them up for lunch and driving to either Arnott Lion's Park (just down the road) or Standing Rocks park for a picnic. Another favorite strategy? Go for a long run and reward yourself with a stop at Tak Yee! Be prepared to pay with cash and bring your own packets of mustard or sweet sour sauce unless you want to buy these by the bottle. The women who work here are charming. It's a great stop.
