I did a google search to find a company that had good ratings. I found Mr. Drippy Plumbing. Seemed like a good company. Promptness: The way Mr. Drippy works on the potential of needing a new hot water heater is them come to your residence to check your appliance. This is not my first rodeo on replacing Hot Water Heaters, A/C units, Appliances and more. I expected to get a time to visit in about a week. Instead, it was the next day. Add to that, they showed up on time. I was shocked. Be A Smart Consumer: I knew from the start, fixing my unit was going to be a segway to replacing it. That is way looking at my issue was not a charge. I also knew, once they saw the unit, the comparison pricing for fixing and new unit would be the sales presentation. Based on my location and needs, I researched the approximate pricing of the replacement, removal, parts and labor. My HOA has a rule to only use licensed and insured venders, or I would do what I used to do. Buy the unit, hire a non-licensed or insured vendor and same money. NOT THIS TIME. Who knows what can happen and the HOA would come back to me. Service Provided: I was presented the numbers and surprise, I selected to purchase a new unit. To my surprise, it was installed that same day. The installer was a true professional. The unit brand was American which is middle quality. The price was higher than what I expected however I paid a bit more because of the great communication I was given throughout the process. Sometimes, we have to give credit to a good company during this challenging times. Issue With the Installation: I live on the third floor with units on the second and first floors. It seems, when the water from my old water heater unit was disposed of, it made a leak in the pipes for the 1st floor unit. I was very upset at first. Then Mr. Drippy Sent in a manager, followed by a water repair company that same day. I called the day after to see what the situation was and the repair was in process. Throughout this situation, I communicated with all parties especially the HOA in great detail. I waited two weeks to write this review. It seems the issue is resolved. Conclusion: Hiring professionals that are licensed, insured and reviews mostly well makes a difference. Will you have to pay a little more, yes. It is worth it, yes. Would I do business with these folks again, yes. Simple as that.

As normal, she had some issues the biggest of which was the drain from the upstairs tub that overflowed to the basement floor. It was horrible and happened more then once. Our family plumber could not fix it because it needed a Turbo Jet to blow out a massive clog in the pipes under the concrete. We had Stephens Plumbing do this action and they got the clog out which was slug. A Few days later, it was clogged again and we had another flood. The Manager of Stephens came back, discussed our options and was both ultra professional and fair. This morning, they came back, blow out the clog again and scoped it with a video camara to make sure the clog was out. The made adjustments in the pipe with a value and cleaned up after themselves. A job extremely well done. This type of clog needs a very special piece of equipment that is very expensive. When you pay that kind of money, you expect the issue to be resolved. Stephens Plumbing resolved the issue. What more can we ask. I highly recommend them and I am very tough to work with.

Then I had the opportunity to work with "Take the Plunge Plumbing". Situation: My daughters exterior Rinnai Tankless Water Heater exploded. I use American Home Shield (AHS) home warranty. They assigned Take the Plunge Plumbing. Action: The water was off in the house and this call was expedited. The company was on time, kept me in the loop and always professional. I give that credit to the Owner and Tequila their associate. Follow-Through: AHS wanted a second opinion most likely because the entire unit needed to be replaced. Another company came one week later which left me without water for a week. Take the Plunge Plumbing still came back and attempted to get the manufacture to replace the unit on warranty. Conclusion: AHS gave the entire job to the second company. Completely unfair to Take the Plunge Plumbing. I offered to pay them for their extra time, and they refused. That was quite kind of them. The way they dealt with me throughout this very frustrating process was outstanding. The only other review for this company is a person who did not like the way a truck was driving. My review is dealing directly with this company. I will use them in the future, they are credible, and family owned. Eat well, drink well and always stay healthy.

Ben and Amy came out the very next morning and did a fantastic job installing a new unit. I had a ton of questions, especially around ways to save some money, and Ben had already figured out every possible situation to make it the most cost effective for me, yet still have the very best option for our household. They are very skilled and incredibly knowledgeable. They even showed extra care for my wife, who was working the night shift and having to sleep during the day. I cant recommend APP enough.
