To say if this place is good or bad is sort of like asking if people are good or evil. Like people, A to Z event sales just sort of "is". I was going to Restaurant Depot, which is in a curious area of town primarily occupied by bulk food suppliers, the USPS sorting center, and other non-pedestrian businesses. I noticed some people outside a brick warehouse building with the sign A to Z event guides, they had shopping carts filled with boxes of appliances that looked as if they may have fallen off the back of a trunk, literally. Curiosity overcame me and I went inside. I might as well have stepped into a petting zoo during feeding time one summer day. The place was hot, unpleasantly fragrant, and chaotic to say the least. There were huge mounds of clothes allegedly from "department stores," for 2 dollars apiece. I grabbed a Merona dress in some size other than my own kinda just because. They had tables and shelves full of cut rate kitchen appliances for 15 dollars, some used, some in boxes, some in pieces, few were in complete sets at this point in the day. There was much redundancy, with tons of Cooks Belgium Waffle makers, toasters, coffee makers, pressure cookers, etc. Past the kitchen ware section were rows and rows of boxes of "drug store items, $1." If I had any particular affliction or needed to restrock my medicine cabinet, it may not have been a bad place to go but like the kitchen section most boxed items (such as hair dyes) had since been opened, shuffled through, and separated from their box content siblings. Past the drug store was the home decor section, with blankets, pillows, sheets, drapes, comforters, and more. This may've been one of the better sections if you find your self needing generic comforters and sheets all of a sudden. I actually felt some comforters and bed pads made of down. If I wasn't already equipped, I probably would have grabbed some. Anyway, the point is A to Z Event Sales is certainly an experience in the most value neutral sense of the term. Worth checking out if you find your self that way. I'll shoot an update if the toaster oven I got doesn't work.

The guy, who sorts the items on the floor told me it should be $3, as the item was quite a while in the warehouse. I was hit with $10 price at register, because lady claimed to be a manager. "POOR MANAGER SKILLS ". She wasn't willing even to make a deal. As a manager, you should work with customer, not against it. And while she wasnt finish with me, she was quick to turn away and start speaking with another costomer in spanish, by completely ignoring my debate. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT WITH NO EXPERIENCE. Guys on the floor were nice, friendly and pleasant.

I've been randomly coming to the Faneuil Hall Marketplace ever since I was a kid. I couldn't tell…read moreyou what I ate here on my first trip with my parents before my first ever Boston Red Sox game in the mid 90's, but I do know that I had a blast coming here and seeing all the different food stands and random vendors lined below the building. I was able to return here for lunch a few weeks back in 2026 and I had just as much fun walking around now then I did back then. The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and a whole lot of people were trying to get some seafood, pizza, ice cream, baked goods, Italian, and various other things and it was cool to see this place still so lively so many years later. Now, I'll be honest here, the food I ate kind of sucked but that's just one of the vendors fault, not the entire hall so I'm still going to give this place five stars. The building itself is stunning and is one of the original buildings in the area (If i'm not mistaken) and has a long hall of different food vendors, seating upstairs, and some restaurants downstairs as well as mall kiosk like shops (get rid of the crappy temu vendors, please). Overall, There's like 50 different places you could eat at that will give you drastically different experiences, so why not come as much as you can given the opportunity. This trip was my first time in about 7 years and even though the food I got was not good, I don't regret coming back to Faneuil Hall and I will absolutely be coming back on my next trip to Boston.

Full of local and tourists. All sorts of fun shops, local talent and food. We started one end of the strip and worked out way through the area. It's a fun place to find your Boston merch, local food options and vibes. My daughter and I had a great time meeting people. Shopping for gifts to bring home. And just breathing in the Boston air. I'm happy we got to check this place out.

For $35 I got an amazing glittery shiny sparkly prom dress for my prom theme birthday party! Went here emergency dress shopping 2 days before my birthday after having decided to have a theme party at the last minute and ordered some dresses online but not being sure if/how anything would fit, so wanted to have a backup just in case. We got there around 8:15 and they close at 9 so it was seriously a mad rush! I had to deploy the hubs to divide and conquer and browse the racks - which I have to say they definitely had a LOT of dresses, so no lack of choices! We both searched and picked up a few dresses. I tried them all on and finally selected the one dress which turns out the hubs had picked out - great find!! We were the last to checkout. They almost took all my stuff out of the dressing room while I was showing my dress to the hubs outside. I had to rescue all the clothes - whew! Anyway I got a fantastic deal - so pleased, fit me perfectly and I wore it for my birthday and got lots of compliments! Service was good. I used a store gift card and I still had money left to spare on it! We parked in a garage nearby using SpotHero., wasn't too expensive. Easy walk. I like Macy's and I'm glad this store is still around!

I walked pass them at least 5 young Males some with shorts. Running and before they left the downstairs dept I told a female employee (African American) long black hair, just hanging around not doing anything and asked her to call SECURITY and she looked at me like I had two heads and did NOT REACT OR MOVE.... Then those boys ran past and up the escalators and I told another employee who might have been Latina Told her to call SECURITY and she said that's not my department and laughed.! Frustrated with the lack of respect for MACYS I WENT UPSTAIRS AND ASKED FOR A MANAGER...I was directed to one in the Shoe Dept walking named REBECCA WHOM I EXPLAINED WHAT I NOTICED! She was sympathetic and said she will handle it. She asked me for my number if I wanted a follow up and gave it to her! I said if it was up to me those two uncaring employees should be FIRED! They just lacked the loyalty MACYS DESERVE! I hope that MANAGER REBECCA DOES THE PROPER OUTCOME! She was very concerned and understanding of my complaint! When employees do nothing to look out for the stores best interests then they should go elsewhere and not tarnish the reputation of MACYS! I'm am totally upset that two women and they are not young adults that did NOTHING AFTER I ASKED TO CALL SECURITY! Shame on those two uncaring employees! It happened around 3:15 pm 5/22
