The driver met me with my name on a sign - and when you're exhausted, this is important. He was friendly, efficient, and got me safely to my destination. His Escalade was clean and comfortable. Very frustrating and unprofessional experience with IBoston Limo…read more When I booked, I received a confirmation email that was essentially just a receipt. There were no pickup instructions, driver information, or contact information included. By the time I arrived at the airport, I still had not received any communication from the company, so I had to Google IBoston Limo myself just to find a phone number. I called twice and spent about 20 minutes wandering around the airport trying to figure out where I was supposed to meet my driver. When I finally reached someone, instead of helping resolve the situation, he immediately became argumentative and yelled at me, insisting that he had texted me. I explained that I had not received any text and had been checking my phone constantly, including while I was on the plane. He continued to argue with me, hung up, and then sent me a screenshot showing that he had supposedly texted me. Whether there was a technical issue with the text or something else went wrong, arguing with a customer who is stranded at an airport and cannot find their driver is an incredibly unprofessional way to handle the situation. A simple apology and clear instructions on where to meet the driver would have resolved the issue immediately. Instead, the interaction made an already stressful situation significantly worse. Once I finally found my driver, he was lovely, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, everything leading up to that point, from the lack of pickup information and communication to the way I was treated when I called for help, was unacceptable. I will not be using IBoston Limo again.

I will definitely try them again.

Wanted to not give Cab Kid any stars but that doesn't seem to be possible. I had a very early…read moremorning flight out of Logan so I requested a 4 am pick-up and was told it would be "no problem." Apparently, there was a problem. Despite having called to confirm - a second time - the night before, and being assured the driving would be there at 4 am, the driver wasn't there. When I called to inquire where the driver was, John told me he would check and I found out that the driver was nowhere near our house. In fact, I'm pretty sure he had not left until I called. You cannot imagine the stress with the trip plan we had that REQUIRED that we make our plane to be able to make the next leg of the trip. The driver arrived 40 minutes late. He was a nice guy but he apparently either had a broken GPS or didn't know how to use the GPS. My best guess, though, is as I mentioned - he hadn't even left when I called to ask where he was. In addition, we noticed that the driver had a 6-pack of beer in his car. If I were a driver, I would have made sure that any alcohol was in a bag and completely concealed. It's quite possible that the beer was for another time but it just didn't look right. We actually made our flight - barely, though, because of the camping equipment and extra gear that was thoroughly searched by security. I thought better of relying on Cab Kid for our return trip and called to cancel and asked to at least be reimbursed for the tolls and tip that obviously shouldn't be charged to me since I wouldn't be using their service (not to mention the hurrendous service we had already received). Again, I was told "no problem." I waited to write this review, hoping that I would actually be reimbursed and could add some sort of positive comment about this company recognizing a case of poor service but no refund has shown up. So my unofficial zero stars remains my rating. I agree with one of the other reviewers about their company phone mailbox often being full so you cannot leave a message. Also had a similar experience that another reviewer had where I called John at least a few times the morning that the driver didn't show up and kept hearing the driver would be there shortly and finally got the story that he was easily 20 minutes away. My best advice - avoid this company. The Groupon seemed attractive but the amount of aggravation made the "price" so much higher.

The shuttle itself exceeded our expectations--it was clean, comfortable, and packed with fun amenities like neon lighting, drink service, and great music connections! Our only constructive feedback is regarding timeline guidance. Since our wedding fell on the Friday evening before a holiday weekend, our driver arrived 5 minutes late for the first shuttle run, and heavy traffic ultimately caused our ceremony to start late. As clients planning a major event, we would have really appreciated extra guidance from the team during booking--such as a heads-up to factor local holiday traffic and ceremony timing into our overall schedule. Overall, though, we had a great experience and would still recommend Michael's Limousine for any event transportation!
