I had not read any reviews prior to booking but there base rate was the lowest of any others that we could find. We were looking for a ride to Logan and then a ride home. We requested the service online and receive an email shortly stating the accepted our request and the total price including tip, tolls and taxes. we agreed and they picked us up 10 minutes early, had texted us when on the way and when arrived. They got us to Logan in plenty of time to get our plane. On our wat back our plain was delayed about 2 hours so we were landing late. The only change in price was a $10 charge for a late pickup but can't blame them for that. Very surprised to see all the negative reviews as that is not the company that we had. read more

I have read the other reviews and cannot believe this is the same company. The hotel concierge recommended this company. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. Driver was waiting outside with a sign, clean, limo, Myron was our driver and provided lots of pertinent info on Boston and Kennebunkport. We also had him pick up our friends who came in a day later to Boston and they had the same experience. This limo price was reasonable compared to others and was agood experience. read more

We purchased a Groupon with Boston Lifestyle Limo which included an additional $50 gratuity and toll charge on our credit card for a round trip from Quincy to Logan. They picked us up as scheduled and we tipped the drive an additional $20. We called from Dallas to confirm they would be at Logan to pick us up. The owner told us we should call Groupon to get a refund because he would not be there. When we asked about our $50 charge he said that was for one way which was not true. Not only is this company unprofessional, they do not honor their commitments and lie. read more

Horrible scammer. I paid $89 for a Groupon for a "Roundtrip To and From Logan Airport (a $200 value)" which was supposed to be good for up to 4 ppl, 2 large suitcases, and 2 carry-ons. I called a month ahead of time to book this for 3 ppl. I was told that 3 people with suitcases could not ride in a towncar because the luggage would not fit in the trunk and can't be put in front, so we'd have to pay $25 to upgrade to an SUV. Then, he tacked on $10 airport fee EVEN THOUGH THE GROUPON WAS FOR A RIDE TO THE AIRPORT. Also, he tacked on a $20 pre-paid gratuity, which is bullsht. If you give me good service, then I will tip you. Dont gauge me up front. Then, I called one day ahead of time to verify that someone would indeed pick us up in time to get to the airport, and he told me that THE GROUPON WAS NO LONGER GOING TO BE HONORED and I had to pay him the $89 directly and get my money back from Groupon. I cancelled my reservation because these ppl are horrible, and now I'm scrambling a day before my trip to find a ride to the airport for 3 people. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. read more

Terrible service. The owner is rude and he is a crook. He doesn't honor Groupons purchased and he adds hidden charges.

I would highly recommend Boston Style Limo, as they are always Punctual, polite & professional in every way. Making a reservation is very easy using their online reservation system, I always get confirmations and concierge quality attention to my reservation. In fact at times I have made numerous changes to my reservation and they always accommodated the changes. The cars are always clean and well maintained. The Drivers are courteous and they know the area well ,and the part I like the most is the call/text I receive from the driver or the dispatcher to inform me who will be picking me up and their exact location. read more

I, too, would give this business less than one star. I just got off the phone with the "owner" who angrily argued with me regarding the "service" they provided. We, a family of four, were to be picked up at Logan airport between 7 and 7:30 am. Our flight was delayed by about half an hour. After we retrieved our luggage from baggage claim, we went to the limousine pick up area on level 2. There was no car there. We called the company's phone number, no less than four times, and received an answering machine. We continued to call and text for the next 45 minutes. I walked up and down looking for a driver, but found none. My children were tired from the red-eye flight and waiting in the 30 degree weather with no driver. We finally took a cab to our hotel. Two hours later we received a call and was told that the driver was there and waiting for us. We received NO calls or text messages from the limousine company or its driver, though the owner claims that the driver called us numerous times. Yes, our credit card was charged for the $40 round trip gratuity and $10 for tolls. I, too, called Groupon to cancel my purchase. Fortunately, they were able to refund my money for this fiasco. The owner just called to confirm our return trip. I informed him that I cancelled the entire reservation when I spoke to him on our arrival into Boston. I believe that we will be charged for this "late" cancellation. I was also told that of the "thousands" of people they transport that I was the first person who had a problem. I sincerely doubt it given the previous reviewer. Is this any way to run a company?! read more

The worst business scam ever. Like the others reporting here, I took advantage of the Groupon deal from Boston Lifestyle Limo for a trip that we're planning on taking. When I called to redeem the Groupon, I was told by the gentleman that answered the phone would not accept the Groupon because, and I quote, "they were begin ripped off by Groupon." However, I was welcome to call them back and book a trip after I got a refund from Groupon and they would honor the $89. So I got a refund on my Groupon and I called back to book. Imagine my surprise when I booked and I found out that I was going to not only have to pay the fee, tolls and gratuity, but also an early pick-up charge AND an airport fee! Silly me, I still booked anyways. Fast forward to this morning, when I found out that my departure time for tomorrow was moved up by 30 minutes and I needed an earlier pick up time. So I called them, only to be told that they would try to get someone over at 4 am instead of 4:30, but they couldn't guarantee it. When I asked him if he couldn't confirm it, I would need to find someone else would could guarantee a pick up, I was told that my business was worthless and that he had tons of other customers who he was perfectly happy to do business with instead of me. When I tried to clarify that I didn't want to book with anyone else, and I just needed to know if he could pick us up on time, he called me an ass and a terrible business person before he hung up on me. I then had to call him back to cancel my reservation, only to be told that I was a jerk and that I had no idea how to do business. Needless to say, this is a group of talentless scam artists who are conning people out of money and leaving them high-and-dry. I have filed an official complaint with the Better Business Bureau about them as well. read more

Definitely less then one star. I am writing this review to save you the agony of dealing with these people. I called multiple times, days in advance, to book a ride only to be greeted by voice mail. When I finally got through, I still could not get my words out because I was constantly interrupted by the representative/owner. He then proceeded to argue with me, "rude, unhelpful, and belligerent"(Christine) is nearly an understatement. Save yourself the time; if you still want the "Boston Lifestyle Limo experience", try to negotiate a bedtime with a 5 year old over the phone, you will have the same results, and save money! Unprofessional does not even begin to describe. Thank you Groupon for recognizing the issue that is BLL, canceling the deal, and refunding me as well as other sorry customers. BUYER BEWARE! I booked a van through Boston Style Limo for 9 people to be picked up and brought to the airport for an international flight on May 23, 2009. I received a confirmation so I was confident the reservation was set. After waiting 15 minutes past the pick-up time on our departure date I called the company to find out the whereabouts of the van. The person who answered said to give him 5 minutes to look into it and he would call me back. I didn't receive a call back. When I called him again he said he could not reach the driver and to give him 5 minutes and he would call me back. Again, I didn't receive a call back. I called him again and he said, "I am in the same boat as you, I don't know what to do." Well, he clearly was not in the same boat as me as I was the one who was going to miss my international flight. He had no resolution and stopped answering my calls! My family and I had to scramble to find another way into the airport quickly. It was very stressful. When I returned home from the trip I contacted the company again and asked how they would resolve the issue. We have reached no resolution and I NEVER receive a call back when they say they will call me back. The customer service of Boston Style Limo is TERRIBLE. Boston Style Limo is NOT a reliable OR dependable company. They acted so unconcerned for their error. They were unable to admit their error, apologize for their error, or rectify the situation. If you need to ensure timely pick-up (or any pick-up for that matter!) DO NOT choose this limo service. read more

Unethical scamming and this company should be avoided at all costs. I had an Eversave coupon and yet he was requiring me to make a credit card payment in full the day BEFORE travel and would not explain how I would then be refunded the voucher amount. He kept asking me what I paid for other companies before he would state his price, and then kept changing his price, adding extra for any time before 7 am and after 6 pm as he said they were outside regular business hours and then more for an airport charge and more for tolls. No legitimate car service has this crazy scheme for business travelers. He was rude and clearly not to be trusted. He is also breaking MA law by refusing to honor a voucher's purchase price after expiration. I am not surprised to read so many similar scamming experiences from others, nor that he has a criminal past. read more
