I called cabkid and made my reservations for 6 Am on a Satruday and 11:45 Pm from Logan on a Sunday. They arrived Exactly on time for both dispatches, I hope they continue this level of service. Wanted to not give Cab Kid any stars but that doesn't seem to be possible. I had a very early morning flight out of Logan so I requested a 4 am pick-up and was told it would be "no problem." Apparently, there was a problem. Despite having called to confirm - a second time - the night before, and being assured the driving would be there at 4 am, the driver wasn't there. When I called to inquire where the driver was, John told me he would check and I found out that the driver was nowhere near our house. In fact, I'm pretty sure he had not left until I called. You cannot imagine the stress with the trip plan we had that REQUIRED that we make our plane to be able to make the next leg of the trip. The driver arrived 40 minutes late. He was a nice guy but he apparently either had a broken GPS or didn't know how to use the GPS. My best guess, though, is as I mentioned - he hadn't even left when I called to ask where he was. In addition, we noticed that the driver had a 6-pack of beer in his car. If I were a driver, I would have made sure that any alcohol was in a bag and completely concealed. It's quite possible that the beer was for another time but it just didn't look right. We actually made our flight - barely, though, because of the camping equipment and extra gear that was thoroughly searched by security. I thought better of relying on Cab Kid for our return trip and called to cancel and asked to at least be reimbursed for the tolls and tip that obviously shouldn't be charged to me since I wouldn't be using their service (not to mention the hurrendous service we had already received). Again, I was told "no problem." I waited to write this review, hoping that I would actually be reimbursed and could add some sort of positive comment about this company recognizing a case of poor service but no refund has shown up. So my unofficial zero stars remains my rating. I agree with one of the other reviewers about their company phone mailbox often being full so you cannot leave a message. Also had a similar experience that another reviewer had where I called John at least a few times the morning that the driver didn't show up and kept hearing the driver would be there shortly and finally got the story that he was easily 20 minutes away. My best advice - avoid this company. The Groupon seemed attractive but the amount of aggravation made the "price" so much higher. read more

DO NOT use CABKID if you want to miss your plane (he was 30 minutes late for our morning pickup and blamed traffic) or wait at 12:30am for a pickup (and he didn't show up!) We got stuck at the airport, waited 20 minutes and ended up taking a cab home. It was after midnight and we couldn't call someone or take logan express. They don't answer your calls and you can't leave a voicemail because the voicemail box is full! They also force you to give $24 tip each way. read more

Working with Cab Kid was a very bad experience. The company is very unprofessional in their approach to livery services. I worked directly with the owner John and hired the company to provide transportation to and from Logan Airport. They were late for the pick up. Instead of arriving in one SUV, they arrived in two separate sedans due to a vehicle malfunction. I was okay with this but was very uncomfortable with their complete lack of communication prior to the pick up. On our arrival back to Boston, the company did not pick my family up as scheduled. I made three calls and sent one text message directly to the owner John confirming the pick up. I never received a reply. I still haven't received a reply. Be very careful dealing with this company. DO NOT USE. Shady business. I scheduled a pickup at 6:45am to Logan. I received several calls the previous day to confirm my pick-up time, which made be think I was in good hands (alas, was I dead wrong?). The day of travel arrives. I call the driver at 6:30 am to make sure he is on his way for pickup. He does not answer the phone, but sends a text message in 10 seconds saying that he is driving and cannot talk. Are you serious? How can anyone text so fast when you are driving, but not answer the phone? At that point, I knew this is not going to be good. I texted him back asking if he will be here at 6:45am? He replied saying that he will be 45 minutes late. Are you kidding me? My flight is not going to wait for 45 minutes!! I call their company # and said that the driver just texted me saying he is going to be late. I explained that I have to catch a flight at 9am and asked if they can arrange for a pickup within the next 15 minutes? My flight is at 9am and I am still trying to find a transportation at 7am standing in front of my house. Finally, I get a call back at 7:20 am saying that they will not be able to send a cab. I had already prepaid for CabKid online, which was probably a big mistake at this point. I travel often and always drive but wanted to try Cabkid which turned out to be a disaster. Anyways, I ask the company to arrange for a refund and drove to the airport. Of course I missed my flight and ended up wasting the whole day at the airport waiting for the next flight out. Here is the best part, it has been more than a month and still no refund. Maybe CabKid does not know that credit card transactions can be reverted. I am not worried about the money, but the way this was handled from the beginning to the end was absolutely ridiculous. Sorry for the tough review, but what else do you expect? You should not take in reservations if you are not able to fulfill them. Please save yourself the misery of waiting, missing flights or missing important appointments by staying away from CabKid. read more

I purchased a Groupon, and was excited about my transportation to/from Logan being handled! Well, not so great. First, their online booking seemed simple enough, but to complete the reservation you have to give a $25 Gratuity and toll charge. Gratuity PRIOR to service, to complete reservation?? I did complete this portion, and received several calls about my travel plans, which had me feeling confident. Then the morning OF, Im receiving calls, while getting my things together, about being picked up EARLIER due to other customer needs. I had booked over a WEEK prior. They were on time, the car was nice. I again, feel confident about my choice in service.....until my return trip. I had provided my flight information and confirmed the reservation during the few phone conversations prior to leaving. All seemed to be set. My flight was delayed by 2 hours, and upon learning of this, I texted (as the owner said would be fine) to inform him of the change. This was at 548pm ET (I was in SFO). I included the flight number, as well as the new arrival time. in the 4+ hours waiting to depart, I received no confirmation that the information had been received. I boarded and hoped for the best. Turned on my phone upon landing, STILL no contact back. I text that we have landed and ask where to meet the car, NO answer. it is nearly 4am (original land time had been 138am ET). I waited as we walked to baggage claim, for our bags to come and then an additional 15 minutes. Being tired, and not having a reliable transportation to get home, we took a cab, incurring an additional $50 to get home (on top of the $85 RT groupon, and the $50 additional for Gratuity and tolls that had to be paid to complete the reservation) I could have taken a LIMO to/from for that cost, and it would have BEEN there and adjusted the pick up time according to the flight change. Total disappointment, and DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Side note: I contacted Groupon with all of this information, so they are aware, and wait to hear what they come back with. read more

If I could rate this company zero stars, I would!! Earlier this week, I purchased a voucher from Cabkid through groupon.com since I was heading to Los Angeles, CA. Prior to leaving for LA on Sunday, 7/13, I made reservations for a ride home from Logan airport on 7/18 for 8:45am. While I was booking my reservation through their website, I noticed they never bothered to ask me for my flight info., and should've realized then that they were an amateur company from this lack of common request given they were picking me up at an airport. I decided to make it as easy as possible for them by adding my flight information in the additional comments section, and most importantly, they would be able to see if my flight was delayed for any reason. I received a text message and email confirming my reservation Sunday evening. Unfortunately, it all went downhill the morning of my scheduled pickup. When 8:45am came around and there was no sign of my driver, I called the number from my text confirmation. It went to voicemail for a man named John. I then tried looking up their website online in case there was another contact number associated with this company, but the only number listed was the same one I just tried calling so I then called this number again. This time, it went straight to voicemail. My boyfriend then tried calling for me from his work around 9am, and surprisingly, he got through to John no problem. John told him the driver would call me as soon they arrived since they already had my cell phone number on file. I waited for ANOTHER half hour and there was still no sign of my driver! Waiting 45min+ for a previously confirmed scheduled pickup is unacceptable (especially after taking a red eye home) and as a result, I was forced to make other transportation arrangements. At least Groupon honored my request for a refund due to their poor service which I am grateful for since I will never book this company again or refer them to anyone I know! ITS A SCAM! Bought a Groupon for roundtrip to Logan from my home which is 11 miles away from Logan.... first I called them as specified in the Groupon instructions to make a resv, and a guy answered and told me to use their web sight...so upon using their sight to make my resv it "located" me inaccurately and they tried to up-charge me over $1100.00!! I tried deleting my reservation but there is NO CANCELLATION OPTION on their sight. I tried calling them back but I got hung up on, then tried calling back several more times but it went to a VM that was FULL so i couldn't leave a message. I immediately called groupon and they deleted my Groupon and refunded my purchase price of $89.00. I still haven't formally cancelled my resv with cabkid though...because theres no way to contact them. Its A SCAM. Their reviews are horrible and i kick myself for not checking them out more thoroughly. read more

ZERO STARS from me as well!!! I bought the Groupon for my parents so they could have transportation from Scituate to Logan Airport on October 18, 2015, as they were going to St. Maarten that morning on JetBlue. They made the reservation, and it was confirmed by John. The morning of, they were supposed to have been picked up at 10:30 AM, but when calling John to confirm the driver around 10:10, they were told the driver was lost and was well over half an hour away. Unfortunately, due to Cabkid not delivering on their service, they missed their flight. This cost around $600 in change fees and additional taxi services, on top of losing a night of vacation and a day of hotel booking. That's a ton of money to be out due to the screw-up of Cabkid.com. We will be seeing John in small claims court over this. If he has screwed any of you other people out of money in the same manner, I suggest you do the same! read more

Luckily I was able to get a ride to the airport that day from my uncle, but all in all if you need to get to Logan either find a ride or pay a little more and find a reliable company. read more

I had a real bad experience with cabkid. I bought a groupon and made an online reservation for pick up from Logal airport early morning. When I came outside the airport, I noticed that there was no cab waiting for me and the cab driver didn't show-up at the scheduled time. I called the owner John few times and every time I called him, he told me that the driver would reach in 5 mins. After 1 hour, he stopped picking up my phone and started sending me the message to call the driver, not him. Then I called driver and the driver picked up the phone but he kept telling me that he would come in 5 mins. I had to wait for 2 hours outside the airport with my two jet-legged and tired kids who were already cranky because of the overnight flight. The cab driver showed up after 2 hours of wait. He was polite and well mannered though and mentioned that the owner didn't tell him about the reservation in advance. Overall, I had a real bad morning that day. read more
