This is a long-delayed review of New Electronics Communication. I recently purchased an EV car and need to install an outlet in my garage for charging. My house was built in 1965, so I had an older panel, and every contractor said I needed to "upgrade my panel" as a default response. Eli and I were able to brainstorm an idea and work with my existing panel, which did not need to be upgraded, saving me $$$$. Not only did he not push for the upgrade, but he also took the time to discuss the idea. He considered my input instead of just pushing for the service that would make him the most money. He arrived promptly on Thursday to inspect the findings on my inspection report and even made recommendations of moving the panel to a safer place than the bathroom. He gave me a reasonable price of $1900 to change the outlets in my kitchen and bathroom to GCFI and move my panel. His crew arrived at 8:30am on Saturday and immediately began working. They even found that some of my wiring hadn't been properly done and the re-checked all my outlets for a discounted price. They also included a free outdoor gcfi outlet. Either other shop quoted me unreasonable price or unavailable on weekends. I told Ellie I just finished my ceiling, I am not trying to add holes in the wall or ruin the ceiling. His team took my comments to heart. They barely touch my ceiling without attic access. Ok. Firstly, this review took time to be posted. But now finally I am able to do it! There's the saying goes.. definitely it's better late than never. Lol I found them while I was browsing on Yelp for electricians who does Electric panel replacement. I contacted few together with Elie (the owner of New Elec. Corp). The other electricians came over to our house to see our old panel, then gave me their quotes with the included City permit. Elie just asked me to send him photos of the old E. panel, then gave me the best price for the job, and so we had a contract. The job was done the following week. His guys came on time, were respectful, friendly (like Elie), and did a great job with the replacement. The only issue after that was about getting the City permit/approval. It took long since there were issues and a misunderstanding when getting the inspection scheduled. But after the long wait (2 months), finally the City came over and got the work approved. They then scheduled the wall patching, finished it, and again, was done nicely. Best Yelp find! I needed to install 3 new outlets and 2 light switch dimmers and I was on a time crunch being a busy person. I sent in a request for quotes on a Wednesday, Elie responded and came down to the house Thursday and the project was done by Saturday. It only took them 2 hours which was perfect. I have worked with some contractors who does what they want (placement, aesthetics, etc); Elie makes sure to explain to his crew exactly how I want the project to look and be executed.
