Probably because of that, I totally forgot CC Recycling was coming for the cars monday morning. I had one vehicle in the garage with only 3 tires on it (2 of which were flat) and another vehicle blocking that one into the garage. I assumed I could get the one vehicle ready to go while the other was being hooked up for the tow, but I totally misjudged how long it would take. Kevin from CC Recycling was incredibly helpful, and patient, while I did the bare minimum I needed to do to make it possible for him to tow both vehicles. With every bump in the process, and there were MANY, Angie went to bat for us. She stood up for us and got the best parts and the best coverage from the company. This was the service that we had expected from our insurance company but instead received from Witham Auto Body on La Porte Road in Waterloo. We cannot emphasize how well these people do their jobs. They are very professional. They are very knowledgeable in their field. This department is great with communication and information. They are the most dependable in this area. I had had it after Firestone had done that to me and it was 3 in the afternoon. I started my day doing only to find a place I could afford and trusted. My late mom's voice in my head, the whole time, repeating, take it to the dealership. So I did, thinking that they would be the most expensive of all. I WAS WRONG. I walked in, thinking the worst. In walks Blake. I told him all that I'd went through, and HE LISTENED. He took less than 5 minutes to quote me around $70 and asked me if I could come back at 3 that day. I'm sixty one, but I felt like 16 and wanted to jump, but didn't. LOL I would have broke a hip or something. Anywayz, I finally got my oil change, and all the extra stuff that they do and the invoice at the bottom was $69.75! It took less than an hour and a half and I was out the door. I will be back and if you think that just because it's the dealership, they hike the prices like I did, think again. This family owned franchise is Iowa nice.

It's stressful buying a car and even more so to have to get one repaired but Deery Brothers Ford Lincoln came through for me. I have a Ford Explorer that one day decided it'd continuously tell me my front passenger door was ajar-- even when it was in fact tightly closed. It was sure it was open and let me know that by constantly flashing an annoying icon on my dash. The interior lights seemed to never turn off and it was unable to lock from the inside. Ugh. Making the appointment was easy. I dropped it off and they determined what was needed. I was informed of the cost and the time frame; the part was to be delivered a week later. We waited for a call to let us know when the part was there but after almost two weeks without a call--made it ourself to inquire. It indeed had arrived. The car was ready that day! Easy peasy. (And quite expensive. We were quoted two different prices during this experience. Initially over the phone what we now know to be the price of the part itself. And then again over the phone, after checking out my vehicle, the part with labor with tax. Eek.) The staff was pleasant and location was super convenient. Overall- I'd come here again and most likely will!

When looking at the car the salesmen popped the hood to show us the clean engine and some recent work they did - great; however, 2 days later when I popped the hood the hood wouldn't stay up as the struts are shot. When I notified Jefferson about this they offered to install new ones...if I bought them. This got me thinking - they had to have known the struts were shot when they worked on it as they don't go bad overnight...and then I remembered when the salesperson popped the hood to show us the engine he held the hood up for us. The new struts are $40 dollars, which I can't believe that they wouldn't cover, but that's besides the point: if the salesperson went to such great lengths to hide faulty hood struts it makes me very worried what else, much more serious issue could they be hiding about the car...as if they didn't disclose faulty $40 shocks they sure has heck wouldn't disclose literally anything else wrong with it.

Back at the store we asked to see the Carfax report to see what it said about the A/C. The report clearly shows their service department worked on the A/C two months prior. After a few days, it was clear the A/C did not work and did not "come on eventually". It cost over $1,000 to have it repaired. I do not recommend.
