This review is in praise of Gaven Farley and the sales crew at Bill Colwell. He almost makes up for Ford's delays and lack of incentives. ;) I am a tough customer. I ask questions multiple times and go over every last detail before buying. Gaven was very patient and didn't try the typical sales tactics - no four square or VIN etching/dealer prep nonsense and his numbers were always accurate and within reason. While no dealership is perfect, you could do a lot worse than taking a few minutes extra to drive to Hudson. read more

COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. Cannot recommend highly enough that you purchase your vehicle elsewhere. I bought a Lincoln navigator and learned four weeks after purchase they had not done the title and registration work. After being pulled over twice because my plates were not registered to the new car, finally let it sit in my driveway for the past month while they try to figure out what to do. The sales team, and title people have absolutely no idea how to do their jobs. I purchased my vehicle August 1 and as of the end of November, I am not able to legally drive it. I pay $1400/mo for my car to sit in my driveway with no end in sight. read more

Shady business practices and lack of attention to detail on the purchase of a brand new truck. If I had enemies, I'd send them here.

We recently had electrical issues with our 2020 Ford Explorer which we purchased used from Colwell in 2023. We took it in for service of the 4wd module and had a diagnosis on the drivers seat for no-heat. They replaced the faulty 4wd module and the seat heating element but then the seat needed a module for another $500. We asked them to not move forward with the seat module as we would have then been $1300 into just getting the drivers seat heat to work on top of the other work. When we picked up the car the seat back had not been reinstalled at all and the drivers side lower seat cover with the controls had the tabs broken off laying under the seat. I brought these items to their attention and with another trip back to service they were fixed. A week later and the lower seat cover has fallen off and now I see they just used what appears to be epoxy or hot glue to just patch it back to the seat frame which lasted less than 10 days. Needless to say, I gave them ample opportunity to fix their damage right, but now I have no regrets sharing how disappointing their service team has been for us. I will not purchase their or have service performed there again. read more

I and my some my family has for years traded cars and Trucks at keith motor and then with Bill Colwell ford took over the dealership. I have never had a bad vehicle from Bill Colwell Ford. They have always done me right and always have been fair and the trade. The service at Bill Colwell ford has been outstanding. Al Shepard is a very outstanding and knowledgeable of his vehicles he's very courteous & Honest in his dealing with the customer. I have dealt with Al many of times and recommend him any day. Sent my mother to them for tires. Told her the tires to put on (80,000 mile touring tire) and they talked her into a 50,000 performance tire. Almost $800 installed. They told my mother I did not know what I was talking about and these performance tires would be better. I have spent the last 22 year working for Goodyear. Hope you wear a belt if you go to this place or be prepared to drop your pants. read more

Bill Colwell 's has always been there for sales and service. This is the 5th truck I've purchased there. The Quick Lube is the newest part and showing great service also. So far I love my 2018 F-150. This is my first try with 3.5 ecoboost. Like the new interior and power. read more

While I don't appreciate the back and forth "let me talk to my manager" number haggling bs (which they do quite a bit here) the prices are pretty fair and the car we purchased seems to be in good condition for a used vehicle. They could certainly cut down on the wait time they put into the haggling, as we almost walked out. 2.5 hours for a used 2009 is ridiculous. My son enjoys his new car and we got a pretty good deal on it, so that is what matters. read more
