He looked at my van and saw that the hose wasn't even connected to the radiator. He fixed it for me, helped me add coolant, and I was on my way. If it weren't for him, I would've been leaving my van in waverly. I was also in a hurry because I had an ice cream cake in my vehicle for my son's birthday. Thank you so much, Josh! You went above and beyond and that means a lot to someone who would've otherwise assumed the worst. Give this guy a raise!

Came in here needing to purchase a couple new parts for a car. As I didn't want to go hunting…read morearound, I went straight for the sales staff. They were there to help and asked if I needed help right away. They didn't have one of the parts in-stock, but within minutes, it was ordered to be in the store within 3 days. They'll call me when it's in for me so I can come pick it up. I also needed a battery. That's where things got a bit more confusing. The employee seemed a bit confused about what I needed as well. I'll admit that I'm not always the easiest person to communicate ideas with, but I did think I got the main points across: that it needed side posts and needed to be high-powered. He recommended a battery and said it was the highest power they had. But after ten minutes of stressing how much I needed, he went and actually talked about the "high power" batteries they carried. So it took a lot longer to get to the point where I could actually use the battery. I ended up not purchasing a battery there since they made it more frustrating than I originally imagined. I did purchase some work gloves there. The check-out process was simple, and I was out of the store relatively quickly. I do find that their prices are a bit insane. I have no problem paying locally because I prefer to support the community versus going online. I also understand that internet stores have more purchasing power, so they might have cheaper prices. However, on the few items I wanted, I checked the price differences before I bought. From Amazon, an item was $7. This store wanted $25. I don't mind a small difference, but jeez. It was similar with other items. On some other items, it was a lot less marked difference. So I suppose it depends on what you're buying, but have a general idea of the price range to avoid getting ripped off. Final Thoughts: It's an okay store, and I'm hoping picking up the part later will go smoothly. I'll have to be careful in the future due to their prices, though, and despite helpful sales associates, I'm not sure they actually understood what I needed.

We shopped around at a few different dealerships all week, but Community Honda was the only dealership in town that had an SUV that had everything on our checklist. Not only that, our salesman Josh was awesome! After meeting several salesman at other dealerships, Josh was a breath of fresh air. He talked to us like normal people and didn't just spit out cheesy sales pitches right off the bat like everyone else. We ended up buying from Josh the same day we were shown the vehicle. We are now the proud owners of a Hyundai Tucson and couldn't be more satisfied. Josh is the man, we will remain loyal!

To start this off, my car needed two new back tires. They were getting in the "potentially illegal"…read morezone because their tread was so worn. (Fun fact! It's illegal in some areas to drive without at least 2/32 of your tread left.) Anyway, my local dealer quoted me $500+ to replace both tires including tire cost and labor cost. For two tires. Ouchies. So, I was pretty quick to run nearly-screaming the other way. After hearing dubious stories about some other tire stores as well as doing some checking into online reviews, the 5th Street Tire Co came up having good reviews. I gave them a call as I wanted a same-day appointment, and they gave me their earliest available time. It was an hour later than I could make it. I asked for an earlier time, and they said "Okay. We'll make it work." Yay! Their quoted price was $350 which was definitely a nice price break compared to what my dealer wanted. They said it would take less than an hour. When it came time for my appointment, I showed up a half-hour earlier just in case they could fit me in earlier. It took a bit of time for someone to show up at the front desk, but once they did, they were super helpful and assured me it'd be next in queue. They have a small waiting area that was showing a soap opera. It's definitely not the "highest" quality of seating or anything, but it was more comfortable than other places I've been, and it was quite and comfortable enough to read a book I'd brought. I did take a short stroll outside, but the nearby residential neighborhood struck me as slightly concerning, so I'm not sure I'd recommend taking a walk unless you're familiar with the neighborhood. Despite dropping it off a half-hour earlier, they still had my tires changed, rotated, and ready within an hour - and get this! It ended up only being $250! I pretty much cut my original quoted price in half, and they did a fantastic job. Throughout the entire process, they were extremely friendly and accommodating, and nobody once tried to upsell me anything. Nobody tried to fake me into purchasing new brakes, getting the oil changed (though that would have been warranted since it's due for a new change in 200 miles), or anything. Nothing about it felt "shady", and I never once felt anything but respected as a customer. Very impressed compared to the horror stories I always hear about tire places. Everyone was courteous, extremely happy to work around my schedule, and really friendly. I'm super, duper happy with my service here, and I will go out of my way to buy tires here again in the future.
