We love getting takeout from here as a treat to ourselves. The food is consistent and always tastes great. They are very friendly and the wait is never long. Love supporting a local business, I'd recommend trying them out.

I have tried to get over here several times and failed because the yelp hours don't match the business or my schedule didn't work out but today I finally made it over and got in the place. The posted pictures from previous yelpers don't match the place at all so I was confused, was I in the right place so I had to double check on the map where I was so I didn't post all wrong info, don't know what's going on there. Once again the place is empty and the phones are going crazy, has Chinese food morphed into take out and delivery only for most part because this is looking like the norm now. The place was clean and nicer looking with nicer dark wood chairs and tables with tile floors. There is a buffet along the wall which was inactive for dinner. The people were very nice and wrote/spoke in there language and understood English equally, she wrote my order in beautiful Asian symbol looking style writing which was noticed. I had the General Taos chicken dinner combo with chicken fried rice and egg roll, I like a sampling with new places. The chicken fried rice was not the nothing in it kind combo crap because it had white meat chicken, onions, peas, carrots, scrambled eggs which was not totally bland. The General Taos chicken was white meat and tasty but not much heat really. The egg roll was not the crappy small kind but not the big kind, it was tasty and better than average. Overall it was not bad and better than average but it didn't replace my favorite Chinese place, which I drove past in any way but it was not the super average combo crap that I have had from some places. I would definitely try some more of the menu like the Singapore rice noodle, I love that dish.

The restaurant looked a little dodgy, but gave it a try. The guy who took my order was very nice and I saw them cook up my order fresh. When I got home I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portion size and quality of the food.

Hot and Spicy Chicken and Wontons.

This restaurant has been around for a long time, and in that time, they have always been very good. I used to work around this area and this was always something that our area went to normally twice a week. It was a favorite of ours. The workers there have always been so very friendly and they always seem to know their customers. In time, they can call that person's order and what they like. So that tells me a lot... A lot of repeat customers. I normally get their L16. It is their hot and spicy beef or shrimp. But what I do is I change it up to the chicken and they have never had a issue with changing it up for me. It is such a great dish to me. I get it everytime I go. They do it right. So if you are looking for good Chinese food, you can not go wrong with this place. Give it a try. Good food. Good service. Friendly and fast. If you are close to the area, I can tell you that you'll come back again and again.

Since moving to New Berlin, New China has been my go to Chinese takeout spot. It's conveniently close, my order is always correct and the staff is fairly personable for a Chinese takeout restaurant. I always get the general tso chicken platter while my boyfriend gets the szechuan beef platter, and we have never been disappointed. The price is a little more than I'm used to spending at other Chinese food places, especially with the dollar up-charge for pork fried rice, but I don't mind too much with guaranteed quality of food.

China Dragon - Don't know what this is cause they gave me the wrong item. It had heat to it, but tasted ok.

We have been ordering from China Dragon for 7 years. Their food has always been excellent and well…read moreprepared. They always send the right amount of sauces for individual taste with their food. Their "combination fried rice is to die for. My personal favorite dish is "Combination Egg-Foo Young!" Egg rolls are always full and Pot stickers are terrific. We usually prefer take out and when we pick it up, the older hostess is a delight!

I got out of a movie on Christmas day just before 7pm and looked online for a Chinese restaurant…read morethat I could order takeout from. China Dragon was open and still accepting orders (though they said it was a 50 minutes wait), so I placed one for pickup. My order included beef lo mein, chicken egg rolls, and chicken teriyaki sticks. The egg rolls were gross. At one point I bit into something hard, but it was dark in the car so I couldn't tell exactly what it was (might have been a bone from the chicken?). They were greasy, heavy on the cabbage, and not much else flavor wise other than the occasional piece of chicken. I wouldn't want these again. The lo mein wasn't much better. Super oily sauce that was loaded with enough garlic to take out a vampire a mile away and the beef was low quality in my opinion. Like the egg rolls, I wouldn't want this again. I don't know what specific menu item I received instead of the chicken teriyaki sticks, but it certainly isn't what I ordered. The sauce had some heat due to the large amount of red pepper flakes and there were onions, green peppers, and broccoli mixed in with a container of white rice on the side. The chicken itself was breaded, similar to General Tso's, but this clearly wasn't General Tso's. I was already back home by the time I discovered their mistake and didn't feel like driving back to New Berlin, so I ate what I could. It tasted fine and was ironically the best of the three items I received.

I should have eaten at Sze Chuan ages ago. I was told it was amazing. I even lived very near to it…read morein the past. It's been on my list, but I didn't go. That was an error. The restaurant is in a tucked away strip mall and is modest in size and decor. The strip mall also contains hidden treasures like a Chinese bakery/BBQ and an Asian store. We went early on a Saturday evening with friends. The service was excellent, although with some staff there were language hurdles. No matter - everyone made it work and we were left with an abundance of amazing food at a reasonable price. Wine and beers are served, as well as smoothies and other non-alcoholic drinks. BF ordered crab rangoon as a starter, which was good. He liked it more than I did, but it was nice and crispy. I just didn't think it compared to other dishes. My vegetable egg roll was very good as well, but nothing terribly unique. He went bold on the entree and ordered the pork intestine and blood cake dish. He really enjoyed it and said it was quite spicy. The portions are generous and he did bring a lot home. I ordered the homestyle tofu, which normally has pork. I got it without to make it vegetarian friendly. The textures were very good and the sauce was intensely flavorful, but mild. I also ordered a supplementary dish of braised mushrooms and Shanghai greens. Everyone at the table enjoyed this dish, particularly the greens, which are a variety of bok choy, called pac choy. The mushrooms were wonderful, with the texture of wood ears. I also had plenty of leftovers to eat the next day. Our friends ordered the Szechuan spicy pork dumplings and they got rave reviews. My cousin did say they were not overly spicy. She went on to order the sizzling black pepper beef, which she said was good, but not nearly as unique or deeply flavored as the other dishes. Her husband ordered the pork intestine with clear noodles, which he enjoyed but said was extremely spicy. He did leave a lot of sauce behind since it was so hot. He also had the ox tendon and maw in spicy sauce, which came with chopped peanuts on top. He seemed really pleased with that dish. We agreed that we would happily go back to explore the menu more. Everything was excellent and I thought the prices were generally quite reasonable, especially for the quantity of food. I do wish the menu had more descriptive text, so I could familiarize myself with the dishes. The choices are many and overwhelming and the menu is huge. I'd also love to see a symbol for vegetarian options since it's very hard to know otherwise and many of the vegetable dishes included pork or other meat. As we left the restaurant was getting increasingly busy with people waiting by the door for seats. This is a popular place for good reason.

Sze Chuan is still one of my top 3 favorite Chinese restaurants in the Milwaukee area. It seems…read morethey are always busy, but the staff also does a good job getting guests seated, managing the wait list, getting food served and tables turned without rushing the guests. The Spicy Pork Dumplings have become my go-to appetizer, and the fried spring rolls are also very good. On a most recent visit, we ordered hot pot. Our server brought us the sheet to make our selections. You can choose from mild broth, spicy broth, or half tray of each. The spicy is pretty hot with lots of red chili peppers soaking in it, so I scooped out the chili peppers to keep rhe flavor but lessen the impact on my palate. For 2 guests, I recommend choosing 3 items from the list, maybe 2 protein and one veggie or 2 veggie and one protein to start. You can order more if you finish and need more. This is in addition to the two appetizers you will choose, which is included with rhe hot pot dinner. It's a great value! Sze Chuan remains on my short list of go-to's for Chinese dining, and I look forward to my next visit, whenever that may be.

I don't normally re review places but I haven't left a review in 13 years and I have been there…read moremany times since but not lately because there is a Chinese place close to work that I have been going to out if convince. I thought today that I would visit my old friend and even though I have been around the world with the menu that dam general Taos chicken dinner combination is my favorite. The general Taos chicken combination comes with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. The chicken is always big moist chunks of tender velveted chicken which I can't tell if it's white or dark meat because of the velveting process but I like it. The egg roll isn't the tiny ones that became the norm over the years and it's super average like 95 % of Asian restaurants now, not like years past when the egg roll was a signature staple in Asian restaurants and they made really good ones. The combination chicken fried rice is that kind you find on most combination menus, not the main dish dark fried rice full of meat and veggies but just enough to accompany the main dish. Overall it's tasty enough and better than the average neighborhood Chinese restaurant and for a dinner combination that was 2 1/2 pounds of food for $13.50, price vs quality vs taste it's a winner.

We ordered food here over the holidays after seeing several positive reviews about their dim sum…read moreofferings. The dim sum was excellent, very tasty and flavorful. Which led us to order again on another occasion to try their regular menu items. This time around, we were slightly disappointed. The flavors felt a bit flat, especially with the seafood dishes, which we were hoping would be more bold and well-seasoned. For reference, both orders were takeout. We didn't dine in at the restaurant. I'd still be open to trying them again in the future, especially given how much we enjoyed the dim sum the first time
