Sweet and sour chicken used to be all white meat. Today's was filled with mostly dark meat. Very disappointing since i am not a fan of dark meat chicken and order this specifically for the white meat chicken. Gross. Won't be ordering that again. Loved our carry out order of General Tso's Chicken and Cashew Chicken combos with Hot and Sour Soup and Wonton Soup. Best Chinese in Alliance! I use to go there weekly and the last visit I found I big long black hair in the middle of my rice, I quietly told them since it was lunch rush and asked for them to just take my meal off my bill and that would be fine, a whole $5.25 I got the bill they would ONLY TAKE OFF $4.00 because I ate some... wow... I'm 10 weeks pregnant and was craving Chinese food so my husband and I ordered take out. I had the beef chow mein with crispy noodle and my husband had general tsao chicken with pork fried rice. Both the rice and the crispy noodle were stale and freezer burnt. The noodles especially had the stale smell and taste. My husband took the food back but the lady insisted it was good. And was extremely rude about it. But when the other young man employee walked in, he even admitted our food had a smell to it. When we asked where the servsafe manager was(which they must have one on staff at all time), apparently he was on vacation. Which is a strict food safety violation. I know this being as I've owned a restaurant for 6 years and my family have their own franchises. We were simply letting them know our food was inedible but the person who dealt with us was extremely rude. My stomach is now bothering me as well. So appalled. read more

I disagree with the previous reviewer. This place is without doubt the best Chinese restaurant in Alliance, and very reasonably priced. The cuisine is the type found in Canton (Guangdong) province in SE China; near Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macao. Admittedly the menu is geared toward the local American palette, so one will find no exotic dim sum dishes here. I love the wonton soup, steamed potstickers & Singapore Chow Mei Fun(spicy cooked)-- try it with the spicy Chinese mustard in the condiment rack- it's similar to wasabi and quite good. The fried ice cream is a nice closure to a good meal here. Also love the hot Oolong tea, which they serve by the pot. And an ample supply of chopsticks nearby if you're brave enough to eat the authentic way (don't ask me why but it seems to taste better that way- i.e. 'When in Rome..'). A good value for the price and location. read more

Not too busy here on a cold Sunday night. Prices look decent. No pot of tea to start us off. Others got it. Maybe they did and I didn't understand. They didn't have much, no cheeseburgers but chicken nuggets, for the small person in our party that didn't want Chinese. He settled for broccoli beef and was well sated. The wonton soup bare but delicious, not too salty like some. The medium spicy Schezwan beef too sweet for me. The hot mustard is really runny. The lo mein noodles were excellent. Lunch menu looked really reasonable as did the family style meals. All in all a decent meal at a decent price but nothing outstanding. read more

I agree everything you order is sweet and it all tastes the same. I ordered secshwan chicken spicy and it was sweet. It is supposed to be in a brown sauce,not a light sweet one and the chicken in every dish is slimy. read more

the food may be good but I am 1 person an elderly at that, tried to have it delivered they require a 15.00 order to do so. Needless to say they lost the order an my business I guess. it never mentions they require a 15 dollar order to deliver. plus they are getting a delivery charge on there not to mention a tip! Try the ko pa soup, it's one of the best soups I've ever had. The egg rolls are good, too. Most of the menu is fairly standard Americanized Chinese food, but well executed. I live in California and have access to authentic Chinese food all around me, but I still like to come here and get an order of General Tso's chicken when I'm in Ohio. Is it authentic? Doubtful. I love their food. General Tso's Chicken and Crab Rangoon are the best. I also like the Wonton Soup, Sweet and Sour Soup and Steamed Potstickers. I have yet to eat a better egg roll. This is not only the best Chinese restaurant in Alliance but the Best Restaurant as far as the food goes. This has been my favorite restaurant in Alliance for over 10 years. I don't know if it tastes like traditional Chinese cuisine or not but it tastes great to me and I go there at least once a month. Pricing is very reasonable. Good food. Crab Rangoon is good. You must request extra spicy if you want your food to be spicy. Orange chickens a little too sweet. The sweet and sour chicken is good. The general Tso's is great! read more
